• Smart playlists are not updated on Ipod classic

  I have the latest Ipod classic 160 gb (7th gen?) with a couple of smart playlists on it. These selections are not updated on the fly on the Ipod. I don't know if they're supposed to, but I guess that if. They are updating on iTunes but I shouldn't need to sync to update the smart playlists, otherwise, they are not so smart than that.

  Smart playlists act as regular playlists on the iPod.  They are only "smart" (automated) in your iTunes library on the computer.  When you sync the iPod, the changes you made on the iPod, like song of note or play counts, syncs to your iTunes library.  Update Live immediately updates your smart playlists properly, and they are synchronized to your iPod with all changes (during the same synchronization).

  Update my rMBP 15 "to OS X 10.11.4 with iTunes 12.3.3.17 and all my smart playlists refuse to update when changes in the criteria of the song.  For example, a simple reading list that captures the 5 pieces of stars:

  • Side is *.
  • Update selected Live

  The playlist gets all my songs stars 5 very well, but if a note is changed the song remains in the playlist 5 stars.  The same thing is happening to criteria based on the criteria of last played a song.  The only way to the playlist seems to update is to edit it somehow, and then go back to what it was.  In one case the playlist update coming out and restarting iTunes, but many aren't.

  Anyone else seeing this?  Any suggestions?

  I've just updated today at 12.3.3.17 (Windows version), but cannot reproduce the behavior you're seeing.  Evolution of the coast of a song in two directions (up to 5, or down 5) caused the playlist change immediately.  A different playlist based on the last played is also updated correctly.

  Could be a bug in the Mac version, or something else.

  I noticed that smart playlists on my iPod Classic not not update on the iPod while playing. This always worked perfectly before.

  Smart playlists on an iPod Classic which has not synchronized with iTunes 12.4 again (last sync was with 12.3) work.

  More complex smart playlist, less it is updated on the iPod itself. For example, a smart playlist that uses some other smart playlists as its reference will probably not update auto.

  Frequent sync of the iPod with iTunes updates playlists, first in iTunes then these updates are synced to iPod.

  I have iTunes set to store my iTunes Media folder on a separate drive on my Windows PC (drive J:\ in the attached screenshot letter).

  For information on the Organization of the library, see library of portable split . From the sounds of things you have created a shared library that you want to solve if you want the XML in J:\iTunes be the only asset.

• Altered playlist does not transfer

  My problem is actually very similar to the example in the FAQ, but I couldn't find a solution here.

  I have a list of songs in WMP 11 on Windows XP SP2, my rocket is the 1.02.31 firmware. I have a bunch of new songs/podcasts that I added and can play in WMP, I also added the to an existing selection.

  When I try to synchronize the list with the "rocket" it seems that the files are transferred, but isn't the playlist update. If I select the playlist altered on the "rocket" it displays only the songs that were already in the playlist. If I check under artist the new songs are there. If I create a new playlist with songs that they will all be there.

  Does anyone know why the modified playlist is not transferred?

  FYI: some of the podcasts have been downloaded on iTunes, but I moved around the files in different folders - iTunes is not very happy, but I'm being implemented and WMP can access any better this way.  The thing is, I can still play in WMP and they appear perfectly on the list of synchronization as having synchronized.  They also played fine on my rocket for months, but don't show up now.  I erased everything (playlist, podcast and song-wise) and rebooted, changed the format for PSG, but the modified playlist will not transfer.

  Podcasts are labelled "podcast" in the field of the kind of the ID3 tags? If so, they will probably be added to the Podcast folder, not the folder music. And even if they are in your music folder, 'podcasts' cannot be added to a playlist, nor can one be created that contains podcasts. You would have to change the field 'genre' (in the ID3 tag) to something else than "podcast" for misleading the reader into thinking that it is a music file. As long as the file is .mp3 for example, and you change the type to something else, you should then be able to include them in your playlists.

  But if you do know you won't have the other options available that are only podcasts.

• CC of Photoshop will not update. Have tried several things.

  I know it keeps coming back, but so far I couldn't get Photoshop update since CC was installed in August. First of all, it was a brand new computer with no bloatware when CC was first installed on it.

  Here is a list of the relevant information and things that I tried to solve the problem.

  Photoshop CC 2014 - Windows 7 Professional 64 bit - SP1

  Does not update for latest versions... stuck on 2014.0 - all other CC applications I have installed update without problem

  -Tried to update through the creative cloud App & Adobe Application Manager (from inside of Photoshop) - all two failed with the error Code: U44M1I210

  -Tried to uninstall and reinstall ("successful Installation, but not a patch")

  -Reinstalled Adobe Application Manager (this unregistered all the CC apps that have been installed so they do not appear in the app CC anymore - had to reinstall the)

  -Renamed "C:\Users\mediapc\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0" so MAO would not find it, restarted windows, run the CC App with administrator privileges and tried again... still did not work

  -J' tried extracting the setup.zip, but he gave a few errors so I skipped those parts. After that I tried to launch the "AdobePatchInstaller.exe". He ran, but the update failed with 'Adobe Photoshop 2014.2.2 - failed installation. "Error code: U44M2P7.

  - Tried Adobe PCD, backup, rename folders of playlists in "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common", then tried to update again... It also does not work. (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1315768)

  -Tried to rename the OOBE folder in "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common" (http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/cannot_update_photoshop_cc_to_14_1_1), but which kept the MAO to work, so I've restored it.

  -Tried to disable AVG AntiVirus and update after that remove previously downloaded patch reboot PC - "update failed - impossible to extract the downloaded files. Press Retry to download again. (U44M1I210)

  Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!  From what I understand your post, you have activated my photo stream to your iPhone, but you have a problem, allowing it on your Mac.  Of course, I know how it is great to have your photos of streams available on all your devices, and I'd be happy to help you.

  There is another way to turn on my photo stream, then try these steps instead:

  1. Open the Photos on your Mac application
  2. Click on the 'Photos' (top left corner, by the  menu)
  3. Click on "Préférences."... »
  4. Go to the iCloud tab (sign in with the same ID Apple you use on your iPhone If you are prompted)
  5. Place a check next to 'My Photo Stream'

• Titles do not update

• Stream Podcast shows of new episodes, but feed validators and subscribed itunes do not update

  Hello everyone, I ran a rather strange problem this morning during the release of my latest podcast episode.  When I publish a new episode, it appears in the flow, but it will not appear in itunes.  I know that there is a delay for the itunes store to show the episode but the episode shows when I check with a subscribed podcast app.

  The last episode is in the RSS feed and as far as I know, everything looks ok:

  But when I look at the flow through a feed validator, it won't show the most recent episode of today.
