Playlist published on iPhone cannot sync with iTunes?

Is it possible to have your reading list itunes 'sync 'd' to align with an editing tool you did directly on your iPhone or your device? for example, I have a reading list put in place and when you listen to it if a song comes on I don't like or is not suitable for this playlist I remove it or delete it. Problem is if I now synchronize my phone with itunes that did not have these deleted songs it will just add. It is my understanding that if "pay you" for music, Apple, that all changes are sync'd across the cloud either way so in this case the next time I open my itunes it looks... "" blah blah playlist has changed you want to apply these changes to your itunes or go back. " Seems the perfect answer except for the fact that if you don't pay for & don't want to pay for the music of Apple there is no option for this. If this is possible on the cloud, why is it not possible on my local wi - fi that is configured to synchronize my phone, so every time that I go home, it gives the same message & I can update my version of the same way itunes playlist. The only solution Apple offered is simply to delete the playlist from iTunes, tick to manually manage your music which means that you can no longer synchronize the playlist & just add any new music to her dropping them overall. I'm not interested in workaround solutions that constitute a huge compromise on the function of the phone has been designed (or in this case... not designed). I forgot a simple solution here or is this a case of big brother apple order once more to limit my access to a simple solution until I have pay for a service I don't want? Thank you.

The only solution I can offer is a gross workaround.  After you make your changes, create a new playlist on your iPhone and select the one that you have edited to add songs to the new.  You can also create new reading list (empty) first and then change this one rather than the original.  Now when Sync you with iTunes, the original playlist is overwritten, but your new copy won't - he should get copied into your iTunes library, where you can delete the original and rename the new copy changed to match the name of the original playlist.  Is not ideal, I know, but the only way I know to do this only if you sign up for iCloud music library.

    Hello

I'm afraid you will have to upgrade your OS X to 10.9.5 or newer to allow you to use iTunes 12.5.1 that supports iOS 10.

Now, all applications are absent from the iPhone and is not able to be loaded as they all remain still grayed out in iTunes under the iPhone settings / (summary, Apps, music / etc).

  • Suddenly cannot sync with iTunes or iPhoto

I have synced my phone right of iTunes until I updated to iOS 10.

Since the update, I am unable to sync to iPhoto or iTunes.

iPhoto gives me the error "Pictures on the Filmstrip of < name of the phone > cannot be imported because the device is locked with a password"

    It is not locked.

iTunes says "iTunes could not connect to < name of the phone > iPhone because an invalid response was received from the device.

My 5s iPhone isn't jailbroken. The screen is NOT locked. There is NO other restriction on the account access code.

It is my first time, try to connect from the update to iOS 10.

All other threads I've seen on this subject are the 2012-2014 period. Everyone says to restart the phone, or APPROVE this computer when asked. I've done both. Several times.

I'm on an old first generation Mac Pro. I can't go to OS 10.7.5 with it, but have never had any problems so far.

Any other suggestions to get it to work again?

An iPhone with iOS 10 requires the latest version of iTunes, 12.5.1, which requires OS X 10.9.5 or above.

When I download apps on my iPhone, they don't synchronize automatically to iTunes when I Plug and connect to iTunes.

I understand that I may go in the app store and search manually and download them or go to past purchases and download them, but I want that they automatically synchronize and download to my iTunes library when I plug it as he has done in the past.

  • Sync iphone and ipod with itunes on 2 computers

I think I successfully copied my iTunes from my office to my laptop.  Both computers are allowed with the Apple Store. When I try to sync my iPhone with the 'new' iTunes on my laptop, it tells me that the iPhone is already synchronized with another computer (my office).  If two iTunes are the same, how can I synchronize my phone with an iTunes and let it also synchronized with each other?  Or both my iTunes synced so that the synchronization of the iPhone (or iPod) with one going to update the other iTunes.  I travel a lot, so be able to sync with the laptop on a trip, and then with the Office at home is important to me.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice.

IPAD/iphone/ipod syncs with a single iTunes library/computer at the same time.

Synchronization to another will clear the current contents of the device and replace it with the contents of the computer again.

  • Once I update my phone to iOS9 will always sync with iTunes on my iMac with OS 10.7.5?

Hello, my name is Catherine and I have a few questions. First of all, where I am and where I want to go:

I have an iMac end of 2006 with OS X Lion installed, which is the most recent this computer can manage, if I understand correctly.

My iPhone is a 4S which currently still holds iOS6 (6.1.3) installed. I want to upgrade to iOS9.

    Now the questions:

The iPhone 4S is compatible with iOS9? If so, can upgrade directly to iOS9, or do I need to step it up?

Once it is upgraded to iOS9 will always sync with iTunes on my old iMac?

Any advice on this process are appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my request.

    Catherine

Side note: it was strangely difficult to determine which community/category for this post, so if this is not the right pair, pointing me in the right direction would be more useful. Thank you!

You need at least OS X 10.8.5 (not 10.7.5) or later version to use iTunes 12.3 which will supported iOS 9.

    http://www.Apple.com/iTunes/download/

Yes, the iPhone 4S turn iOS 9 (but the iPhone 4 does not work).

It syncs with your old Mac?  It depends how old.  The Mac must be running at least OS X 10.8.5 and hopefully will last OS X 10.11.1 (current version).

You can update your Mac directly - if you can update the Mac at all.  If you can update depends on the age and model.

  • IPad will not sync with iTunes on my laptop. Synchronization in iPpod settings will not work

MY iPad will not sync with iTunes on my laptop, the sync on my iPad button will not work. I have the latest updates on both.

I guess you mean that the sync button in iTunes, not on the iPad, will not work. If you are sure you have the latest version of iTunes and iOS (your profile shows 8.1) try quitting iTunes on the computer, restart the computer and force restart your iPad

No data is lost during this procedure. Hold on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

  • Problems with the iPhone more 6s with itunes sync

My iPhone 6 s more or my previous iPhone 5 c connects to my iTunes. I get an error message saying that it cannot connect because I need to do a software update. However, when I go to iTunes > Search updates < and the scan is finished, it says I have the current version. I uninstalled iTunes completely out of my computer, restarted my computer and reinstalled and nothing has changed. I'm running on a version of Mac OS X 10.6.8. I don't know how to fix this error. It lasts for 3 weeks now and nothing I've tried has worked. Help, please!

    Hello Amelynda629!

I definitely want to be able to sync my devices with iTunes.  There is a lot of content, I have only in iTunes on my computer.  We can check things.

Since you mentioned having Mac OS X 10.6.8 which is going to be the reason why you see the message to update iTunes.  OS X 10.8.5 or newer is required for the latest version of iTunes, iTunes - download iTunes - Apple12.4.1.

For that you can see if your Mac is able to pass freely to El Capitan, the latest version of OS x: update of OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

Or if your Mac meets the requirements, you could buy a Mountain Lion, the necessary minimum version, download the Apple.com site code: Mountain - Apple OS X Lion

I hope this helps. Kind regards.

  • I just bought an iPhone 6 s more who will not sync with iTunes 12.2.2.252.25

I'm under Lion with iTunes 12.2.2.25 and my new iPhone 6s more will not sync.  Unfortunately, I can't spend the MacBook to El Capitan due to age.  iPhone syncs with El Capitan (just tested this, do not) it seems crazy to me that my Mini iPad will sync, running the same iOS but my phone won't.  Help?

Update iTunes on Mac > http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

    12.2.2.25 is obsolete.

    Then sync your iPhone.

Best to disconnect the iPhone from your Mac during the update process.

  • If I can restore iphone and data sync with iTunes to help uncertified lightning cable?

Hello guys and girls... I was just curious to know if it is ok if I sync data and restore ios using non certified lightning cable which means I have a Chinese... itunes restores the iphone to ios 9.3.1 perfectly and allows you to synchronize all the music and videos files without saying errors... but is it ok for my iphone? It could damage my iphone or will I get ios works in my camera? My iphone gets too hot during loading and the use of the wifi too... sometimes average 2 times he said cable not taken in charge, but during the restoration and synchronization please help me... im confused... tq for playback

Hi, I would not recommend using no real cables on Apple devices because they can cause problems. You get also the question of the products not authorized to appear on the screen which can be very annoying and it is because he has not got the necessary cable chip that its not true. The original cable is a little more expensive than the no real but its worth the investment that you don't buy new cables every few weeks. It will work with ITunes and transfer of data, but I wouldn't mind keen charging my iPhone/iPad with a as it is possible that they may cause damage. It's just not worth the risk.
