  I do not know that try to explain it will make clearer for you, but here's a shot of her...

  minefield is used as a multidimensional array, or in other words, it's an array with arrays.

  In the loop by using 'i', each element of the minefield is assigned a new array in this line:

  minefield [i] = new Array();

  For the "j" loop, each element of the new array is assigned a value of 0 in this line.

  mineField [i] .push (0);

  The only values being assigned to arrays is 0, no 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9

  The last line is followed 81 most likely zeros because FIELD_H and FIELD_W are both equal to 9.  Each element of the mines is a table with 9 zeros, so when you say that it trace the table it traces each element of this array, separated by commas.  Given that each element of this array is another table, it traces the separated by commas, as well.

  What this last trace is actually followed is 9 paintings, each containing 9 zeros.

• Leak memory in real time caused by VISA Read and timed loop of data nodes? Is not supposed.

  In collaboration with LV 8.2.1 in real time to develop applications that monitor or emulate computers on bus RS-422.   The following screenshots have been taken an application that monitors a transmission of 200 Hz.  After a few hours, the PXI station would break a range impressive messages angry... most involving something about memory loss.  After much hair pulling and passing money, my partner has discovered while looking at the available memory on the controller of loss of memory occurred at each loop containing a VISA read and propagation of error using the data nodes (see Leak.jpg of memory).  He concluded that if he went to the propagation of the error to the regular old shift registers, then the available memory was rock-solid.  (has the Leak.jpg of No memory)

  Any ideas of what could be the cause?  Do you see not any problem with the way that we code these kinds of loops?  We always strive to optimize the way in which we use the memory on our urgent requests and VISA readings and DAQmx bed give us the heartache more than ever, we are able to allocate memory for these screws some tips?

  This problem has been reported, and you seem to be exactly reproduce the conditions required to see this problem. This was reported to R & D (# 134314) for further investigations. There are several possible solutions, of which one is the one you have already found the wiring error directly in the loop. Other situations which give rise to no memory leak are:

  1 if the bytes of the property node port is not there and has read lies in each iteration and time-outs resulting are ignored.

  2. If the structure of the deal is gone and just blindly check the bytes to the port and read each iteration.

  3. If the timed loop is transformed into a while loop.

• Simultaneous playback and record real-time show levels of vibrations and his Deputy

  First of all I would like to stress that I am very new to Labview (using Labview 2011) and Assistant Sound and Vibration (Labview Signal Express 2011).  I'm starting a project to measure the speech (sound pressure using microphone) and the body of vibration (using the accelerometer) related to the acquisition of data NI 9234.   I looked in the tutorial and the examples provided with Sound and Vibration Assistant (SVA).   These examples allowed me to make a first recording that is connected.  I could view the playback display after I transfer the log to the data view.   Frankly I'm more sure of my measurement data if I could observe the timewave with speech variation.  I wonder if this is possible.  If it's possible, thanks in advance for pointing the direction.

  You can look at the data, because it accumulates in one of two ways:

  1. Create a viewer and drag out of the acquisition apparatus in the Viewer.  It will give you a live view of the data.
  
  
  2. Create a viewer and drag the newspaper in the Viewer.  By default, this should show you that the current buffer being written to the file.  You can change that to click with the right button on the graph to view in the viewer and selecting show the whole graph, a static part of the graph, etc.

• Please explain, "property of the disc is needed. I use a USB key without anything on it to lose, to try to 'repair the disc' in the Terminal and can not go beyond the question of ownership.

  I recommend that you uninstall McAfee using the special removal tool: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/McAfee-Consumer-Product-Removal-Tool.shtml (not just uninstall because it works well and you will have problems with the system itself, as well as with the installation of other products).  If you just bought it, it may still be in some kind of trial period and you may be able to get a refund if you have already paid for it (you should check with them on that).  Explain your problems, if necessary, and that you intend to report on blogs and everywhere you can and they may decide to make an exception if at first, they refuse to allow the return.

  Once done, reboot and you should now be able to re - activate the Windows Firewall. http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off Check to ensure that the parameters are still accurate that McAfee could change their.  If this isn't the case, after return and we will try to understand how they disabled so we can reactivate if the normal process does not work.

  I am trying to generate an analogue signal into a DAQmx device (I have an and uses it well) to control another device.

  The output signal must be the sum of a background signal (which is decided, let's say a sine wave) and another control signal.

  The control signal depends on the entrance of real-time control, for example by using the horizontal location of the mouse to the value of the signal.

  The background signal is designed in advance and it will run continuously (should not be stopped once the system starts to ensure that synchronization between each devices).

  At the same time, the control signal should be continuous. (if there is no new entry, it uses the default value or the last entry).

  As far as I know, needs only one daq task to write the signal, and then she runs after.

  The control signal is a thing in real time, so the task needs to be updated very quickly.

  But regeneration tasks cost 50ms ~ on my computer (and I used the low levels rather than the DAQ assistant Renault).

  Also, in this case, my background/control signal will be be stopped every time that when the task is regenerated (and this makes my synchronization failure.)

  How the example provided was for you?

  With respect to the delay that you experience, there is always a slight delay incurred as a result of underlying driver DAQmx running in the background.

  In addition, your USB 6611 will have inherent delay due to being used as the communication protocol USB bus. There may be up to 100ms latency in some cases with USB 2.0.

  This driver requires a certain amount of time to change the type of output signal, that is production.

  A user will never really feel a 'Real-time' experience when you use an application that uses DAQmx. Deterministic control applications almost always use an FPGA with a real-time embedded controller.

  It is possible that other delays are due to timing considerations in your code but if you checked these it may be a hardware limitation.

  If you could let me know how you do that would be great.

• Continuous data acquisition and real-time analysis

  

  Hi all

  It is a VI for the continuous acquisition of an ECG signal. As far as I understand that the analog read DAQmx VI must be placed inside a while loop so it can acquire the data permanently, I need perform filtering and analysis of the wave in real time. How I implemented the block schema means that data stays int the while loop, and AFAIK the data will be transferred on through the tunnels of data once the loop ends the execution, it clearly isn't real-time data processing.

  The only way I can think to fixing this problem is by placing another loop that covers the screw scene filtering and using some sort of registeing shift to transmit the data in the second while loop. My question is whether or not it would introduce some sort of delay, and weather or not it would be supposed to be the treatment in real time. Wouldn't be better to place all the screws (aquicition and filtering) inside a while loop? or it is a bad programming practice. Other features I need to do is back up the data I na file, but only when the user wants to do.

  Any advice would be appreciated.

  You have two options:

  • A. as you said, you can place the code inside your current while loop to perform the treatment.  If you're smart, you won't need to put one another while loop inside your existing (nested loops).  But it totally depends on the type of treatment that you do.
  • B. create a second parallel loop to perform the treatment.  This would be separate processes to ensure that the treatment is not obstacle to your purchase.  For more information, see here .

  Your choice really depends on the transformation that you plan to perform.  If it's much the processor, this could introduce delays as you said.

  I would recommend that you start at any place in the first loop and see if your DAQ buffer overruns (you can monitor the rear of the buffer during operation).  If so, you should decouple the process in separate loops.

  In what concerns or not ' it would be considered as real time processing ' is a trick question.  Most of the people on these forums say that your system is NEVER in real time because you're using a desktop PC to perform processing (note: I guess it's the code that runs on a laptop or desktop?).  It is not a deterministic systemand your data is already "old" by the time wherever he leaves your DAQ buffer.  But the answer to your question really depends on how you define "real time processing".  Many lay it will set as the treatment of 'live' data... but what is "actual data"?

  The user interface thread is the thread that is used to update the user interface. It's slow. And it's supposed to be that way because humans are slow.

  The call library function node can be configured as this thread to use in the configuration for it dialog box. Please visit the LabVIEW documentation on how to do this.

• Why won't my installer in real-time?

  I'm using labview 8.51.  I have many addons on my machine including DSC Vision FPGA and RT.  I have an application which usis daq mx and the imaq and imaq-dx (no vision saw.  I added 8.51 engine performance, NI-Imaq, NOR-Imaq-dx, Max 4.1 and Daqmx8.7.  I run the installer, but he still wants the disk in real time.  This application uses no screws RT and should not waqnt this disc.  What triggers this action and how I can avoid it.  I have had this problem several times and can't seem to find one alternative that the shipping of my separate installers (I hate this solution).

  Don't know what kind of performance that you wait (and you can) but if you get a series of plots of A (f) you want, say, to be represented as a cascade of 3-d chart type, the 3D waterfall chart example should be a good start (accessible through the detailed help).

  You have two options in it: either pass all the data, three 2D arrays or two tables 1 d and 2D table. Here's an illustration with the latter approach:

  I have an interesting problem. I have developed an embedded application of Real-time/FPGA for cRIO 9024 and come across a problem that I don't understand. I work FPGA and RT of top-level and subVIs, proven individually and together when it is run interactively. When I create and deploy an executable in real-time like start, however, the behavior changes. I posted the code below, which I'll explain briefly:

  I have a state machine with 5 States architecture. "Initialize" and "Shut Down" are exactly meet once whenever the device is reset, and the cycle between them is wait > pre-test > wait > run the Test and repeat as many times as desired. Measures are taken by FPGA and past in real-time by DMA FIFO and are then recorded to the TDMS file by the real time. Everything else is just interface.

  The problem comes from the first time, the program enters the Test case to run. The FPGA send measurements as usual, and they are stored in a growing table updated buffering in the fixed-point shift register shown below.

  

  Run interactively, this method successfully bed, buffers, sorts and writes all data in the file. However, in time real executable, only the data collected in the first round (147 items total, as it is initialized by the whole shift register) are saved, the rest seems remainsin a buffer? before calling the following function TDMS write, is that in the case before the next test.

  I'm unable to debug the executable file in real time, probably because of the FPGA reference or some other schema components. I tried to replace the pad with a FIFO in real-time, a variable shared with RT FIFO active and tried to write inside the loop. The FIFO are not improving the situation, and when writing inside the loop, the loop does not run quite fast to stand.

  The problem does not exist when I run the VI interactively from my computer, only when I try to deploy all of the embedded, any application that works (as far as I know) except this one place.

  Any ideas to solve, or workarounds?

  Technical support helped me to resolve the problem, the early termination of loop caused loop condition, although I still don't understand why the behavior was different as an executable file, because the condition of the loop has worked in interactive mode, so if someone has any ideas as to the why, I would still like to know.

• A pump for connections rs232 for real-time control

  I have a genius pump more syringe (manual attached) and I need to be able to control the flow of the pump in real time of the computer, using a dial to to the top or the bottom rate as I see climb. I used the basic series vi in read/write of the examples just mentioned another detachment and he contacted the unit very well using the commands contained in the manual. My question is how I change this option or what do I have to do the program I need?
