• Need help... buttons & amp; video clips

  On stage 1, I have a movie clip symbol. Inside the movie clip symbol are the button symbols that are being animated. Basically, I want these buttons allow to fly on the screen and the user and then click one of these buttons to go to an image within the current scene label (btw, there is only 1 scene and it is called stage 1). The buttons are created and the animation of their flight on the screen works beautifully; However, they do not attend any image labels.
  
  In my button symbols, I have my different States.
  In my video, I placed the button symbols, created animations, and in the last frame on each button, I have a goto action script and read the label for specific image.
  In my scene, I placed the clip.
  
  What I am doing wrong?

  Just in case anyone has the same problem, I've done here is the answer that Richie gave me...

  I think that something is wrong with the call of the film of root with the image tags. I coded buttons on the main reach timeline directly it worked fine. For example... If you put this

  on (release) {}
  _root.gotoAndStop (13).
  }

  on the 2 button on the project, it works fine. The code just the buttons with the frame number and you should be home free. I hope this helps.

• Please help with playback 1080 p video!

  The Atrix "already supports playback 1080 p video" 2.3.4 but for some reason when I download a movie from my pc or ps3 at 1080 p even on the tube x app in 1080 p it doenst play on the video player to stock and when I download a video player mx, it made the reading, but with many delays and framerate problems and no audio mos of the time. Can someone please explain to me how can I view content 1080 p on my Atrix with the video player of stock or tell me whether or not the support for 1080 p playback is the 2.3.4 version of gingerbread? Thank you

  Offsets and the framerate problems may have something to do with the number of open applications on your Atrix - what happens if you turn off your phone, then turn it on and do nothing else, you try to view one of the videos?

  I don't seem to have this problem with the 1080 p on my device files...

  In addition, the default video player does not support some file types and compression algorithms. There had been a number of previous posts discussing this as well. I know .wmv and .mp4 both work well. What are the file formats and CODECs files you are trying to view?

  Finally, remember that 1080 p playback only really has value when the Atrix is connected to a TV through the HDMI cable. The native resolution of the Atrix (960 x 540) is much smaller than the native resolution of a file "HD" (1920 x 1080). In fact, this applies to all devices on the market - there is no current device on any platform with this resolution.

  When you use the Atrix to display on a television set, at the request of the entertainment center, you must go into the video settings and tell the 1080 p output when the resolution of the file is greater than 720 p (for some reason that it is disabled by default).

  First of all Hello, this is my first but I have read a lot of posts and tried to figure it out, but think I made things worse, I have a dell inspiron 15 something and a panasonic HDC-HS20, I had to reinstall windows and all pilots who, I think I did as when I put my camcorder software I began to have problems He says not to approve a 64-bit program and then it worked for a while then kept computer crashing then a black screen at start up and finally when I tried to burn videos to dvd, it says that I don't have a dvd player/burner, so I will now try to transfer my videos through Director of windows I downloaded everything it says that I need and it transfer files, but when I add them to movie maker it shoes a yellow triangle with a black exclamation point in each sinus and when I press on the bar moves along to play, but no images so im assuming that he does not, is it possible to do what I do, or I need to reinstall my software of camcorder and just hope that it recognizes my drive? any help would be appreciated.

  IM new to After Effects, so please forgive if this is a silly question.

  
  I have an Animation of edge with a background color of #ffa800

  I imported a video after affects that has a transparent background.

  Research tells me that the video is never really transparent, so I'm creating a solid layer in AE, placing video on it and setting the blend mode 'screen '.

  I now have a video with a background color of the #ffa800.

  However, when I export / view the video output and import in my project of edge to animate the background color of the video is disabled and does not match my background of edge animate.

  I spent all day experimenting with different export made direct EI options and also through Media encode. IM now completely stumped.

  I also tried setting the video background color #ffa800 and masking then my video. It keeps me from having to use a "screen" blend mode, but I get the same exact results.

  Could someone please give me some advice on where I'm wrong please. The bottom is so close, but either slightly darker or more clear that I put that spoils the overall animation effect I want to create.

  Lack of information exact system, rendering settings and so forth person can tell you a lot. That said, there are a few fundamental failures in your plan. First of all, web colors do not mean anything in AE or in most graphics programs than elsewhere because of the object of little quantification management and possibly color errors. Whatever colors you compose, do it using the normal RGB sliders. Second, blend modes are not transparency, even if for mathematical reasons, the formula mixture may appear to eradicate certain colors. Third, you must take into account the values of Gamma. Video is not linear mixture and time your screen of computer as well as the video content itself may have a built-in Gamma value. Thus, your merge operation could already produce erroneous results as a light mist, the encoding of the video file could introduce Gamma tilt and then finally in the last step, any tool that you use to view perhaps apply dynamic corrections thus or in reverse, not at all. So this is essentially to check these things and properly calibrate / setting of your monitor and your system color settings and make use of color in AE management, if any. However, in the end, you always see minor deviations of color. It is inherent in how compressed formats like H.264 work. You can only try to minimize as much as you can.

  You can use your favorite search engine to download and install third party video editing program to remove audio from video files and add audio you want.

  Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly.   Is probably a newbie question, but please help me I have a video that is made of 5 scenes. My goal is to divide the larger video in the shorter scenes. The end result would be to have 5 different videos on my computer (real media, not an adobe first / prelude to file). What is the best way to go about it, while keeping the same video quality?

  PS: I tried to use the first Pro CC and cut scenes, then the nest and export. Even if the options have been set to the "Match to the source", my end result was of a different size than the original. By that I mean the Windows Media Player window was greater when I played the original file.

  I thought it was too easy job for the Prime Minister to go for a minute or two (which means its more big changes to my file I wanted and later was a witness). I used Avidemux do the visited took less than a second, and this was the solution that worked for me.

  the alt (option on mac) key is a shortcut to temporarily circumvent the binder. so that you can select just the audio, not the video portion of the clip. you need not CTRL for this. You can also simply switch off binding using the menu button to do this, and then re-enable it later.

  

  to move to another audio track, you can select only the audio (using alt or toggle menu option) and make them drag to an unused track, as track 3 or something. then click on the 'm' to cut this track. There are tutorials without end and howto on youtube for the creation or one of adobe software. so feel free to look through advice as well.

  I have been working with 3d modeling and rendering now for a year and can do a good job in CAD software.

  I would like to go one step further and be in a position next year to 2 min announcement of video clips of products I have modeled and rendered.

  I can use photoshop on a beginner level for visualization of the product and is trying to spend more time getting better in PS.

  It's a very loaded question. From concept to production, I had visualization product projects take half a day to six months. It depends entirely on the project. How long it takes to get a good depends on how fast you learn and your artistic talent. I have taught the people who have been film production of poor quality for many years, and they are not much better after a high intensity bootcamp. I taught to others who have been to debut happened how to I cut a video clip to work simply incredible in a weekend. On average, I would say that the average student beginning needs about 40 hours of productive training targeted to get a good handle, the software and the basics of editing and compositing. Once you understand the concepts and how editing, sound, composition, movement and color tell a story it takes lots of practice to get really good at it. I have not seen any really good visuals of artists or publishers who did not follow the 10,000 hours rule. To become really proficient at any task that you need to spend about 10,000 hours to work on your skills. This does not mean 10,000 hours sitting at a computer, which means learning to tell a Visual story effective from 10 000 hours.

  Please can someone help me. This may seem like a simple problem, but I am at a loss for what to do. I have a Flash file that has video in it. These video clips have buttons that are supposed to go to a particular frame on the main stage and play the clip on this image. I have attached the following code to the button, but all that happens is that the clip that plays the button plays again. I marked all the frames, but this does not seem to make a difference.

  as a side note, you would not use onRelease delivery. Delivery means as long as you hold the button of your mouse, the following text runs. Soon a you let it stops at the function. Which may be why your movieclip starts just above.

  I use functions for things like that, so my version should look like this.

• Help, please... Flash is ignoring my Video Clip

  I create a slide show on Flash 8 and I want the last slide actually be a video clip. It's a slideshow where images just play themselves, fading and fading, one after the other. No interactivity of the Viewer.
  
  So I imported the .mpg file, I need and set it in the last image in the slideshow. But for some reason any Flash is ignorant. Preview SWF Gets the last frame before the video clip, ignore the video clip and starts in the first frame of the timeline.
  
  The funny thing is, I've done this before and I can't understand what I'm doing wrong this time.
  
  MY LINE OF CONDUCT:
  1 file > import... > import video
  2. in the import of video, under the section SELECT VIDEO dialog, I select 'your computer' and with the ' Browse... '. ", select the desired .mpg file.
  3. in the DEPLOYMENT section, I mark "Progressive download from a web server." I prefer not to embed the video in the SWF file, because the video is about 6 minutes long. What I said 'embed video in SWF and play in timeline' can cause audio sinc questions involving more than 2 minutes long video clips.
  4. in the ENCODING section, I select profile high quality Flash 8 and leave the settings as they are. My encoding settings:

  6 then I press "Finish" and wait for flash encode my video file. When it is complete the encoding process, in my library I find the FLVPlayback instance and on the stage, is what I assume to be the first frame of the video clip (in my case just a black frame) with a Flash Video icon in the Center.
  
  When I saw the SWF or post - the video is ignored. Flash it jumps just as if he were not there.
  
  I tried to import a much shorter video file and it worked. So I think maybe this has to do with the length. But first, I used the exact same 6 minute video clip in Flash before and it worked fine. Secondly, I don't remember hearing about the problems with video clips of 6 minutes, Flash 8 or so.
  
  I also tried to import the same .mpg to a new Flash document, it set the default image single layer 1. But same result - the video would not play.
  
  I use a PC, quite capable of managing this kind of work. The .mpg file made from a .avi file using Sony Vegas video editing software. He played in all of the media players and seems perfectly fine.
  
  Any ideas? I am really puzzled. The fact that it worked before and suddenly gives me problems is particularly frustrating. Can anyone help?

  Are you going to put a stop(); action on the frame with the video? If not then flash will just a loop around the beginning or skip your video file.

  Only, I had my first lesson in flash a couple of days, but decided to venture building a toolbar of navigation with grouped clips. My intention is that once the mouse rolls, more clip of a particular movie, another video clip fades below (my version of a menu "drop-down"). Just to make that happen, the clip that fades, is also composed of particular video clips with their own behaviors (to the tween effects of reversal).

  I can make each individual movie clip behave as it should, but I can't make them work once they are assembled. I enclose a link that contains the file that I want to talk (submenu), in the hope that one of you, good Samaritans would take a glance and tell me where I was wrong.

  I hope that I've not absolutely shocked you guys with my level of ignorance.

  This is a new and improved feature in iMovie. You must hold down the 'R' key while clicking on the part of the item you want.  By default, the full clip will be added to the time line.
