Please HELP Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Error and Microsoft Security Essentials

I don't know where to post this option for assistance. A couple of weeks, I started to have problems with Microsoft Security Essentials. The program said that it could not turn on real-time protection. This operation returned because the time limit has expired. I followed the instructions to restart by typing services.msc, then click start to start the service by choosing Microsoft Antimalware Service, properties, choose automatic or stop, and then start. It wouldn't be long before the service stops again. I did 2 restorations system. One of the dates worked briefly, the other did not work at all. It still would not begun.

Now, I get the following message: Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime LIbrary, this application has requested the execution in an unusual way. For more information, contact the application support team. There is no location in this message, and it appears once the computer is completely closed and powered up. I have to start it in safe mode, or I am totally unable to get windows sign in screen. Once I start it in safe mode, I, once again, am responsible to activate the time protection real Microsoft Security Essentials. More often then not I can't turn it on at all. When I am able, it isn't long before that I'm right back where I started, could not start windows normally.

Help, please. Thank you

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Security Essentials?

This will depend on where your locate in? If the United States then look at Newegg for a replacement HARD drive, but I would like to ask did you a defined HP recovery disk? If this isn't the case, then you must order these discs at HP and then use them to format and restore the software from the factory to the laptop to make it work. But instead of recovering the HARD drive I would say than to invest in a SSD which will make more efforts to improve the use of your computer. Assuming you want an SSD.

  • OneDrive of browsing for the file of the company is blocking explorer.exe with visual c ++ runtime error

I posted this in the OneDrive for business forums and was told to come here because they were not able to climb it - a few other people responded saying that they had exactly the same problem.  I copy + paste the original message here.

OK, now let me preface this by saying: I was fix this for the better part of a week and I am puzzled.

I work in the it Department for business (~ 200 employees) medium, we have recently migrated our the server local exchange to Exchange Online (we are now using a mixture of licenses Office 365 E1 and E3) and we have since then all members of society with their synchronizations of OneDrive.

About 200 people, that we have put in place, there is a person who has this problem - when he opens the file Explorer and looks in his folder OneDrive @ company, less than a minute, it will get a Visual C ++ runtime error and explore crashes / restarts and is able to work again.  Of course, within a minute, the same thing happens. It is under windows 7 x 64.

This particular user has a mixture of files .dwg-AutoCAD, PDF, word/excel files and jpg files on his onedrive for a total amount of approximately 7 GB.  It uses the preview in the Explorer pane, and I saw a similar problem during its use in the past, so I applied the patch and it did not help.  If I disconnect his onedrive and move his files back in its documents folder, it can browse its files without any problems whatsoever (including using the preview pane).

want to hear the best part?  I set him up on a laptop quite different from ZERO and it does EXACTLY the same thing!  No one else in the company is having this problem, and almost every other laptop that we deployed using the same exact configuration.  I'm starting to think, it could be a problem with his records, but I'm not sure - go to synchronize its reader to my computer to see, even if I'm on windows 8.1.

Everyone knows about this type of problem?

Also, I already tried to delete the cache of records office and completely reinstalled onedrive on the original computer.

This is clearly a problem inherent in the OneDrive itself.  Let me know if any kind of logs are needed.

I could never get anyone to help me here so I ended up spending the user assigned to windows 8.1 and it helped.  Sometimes it happens again but windows 8 is much better at handling explore crashes, so it's just a quick blip and he is back at work.

    Good luck.

  • Microsoft Security Essentials and screensaver

Can someone tell me if a scan of Microsoft Security Essentials is still running a scan when the MSE page disappears and the screen saver comes up?

    Thank you

    TomS

    Hi Thomas,

Yes, the Microsoft Security Essentials will always run on background when the screen saver is running on the computer. If you have unchecked the option scan only when the PC is on and not in use. Microsoft Security can stop the scan.

This type of error can be caused if the Visual C++ library runtime components are missing or because of a third-party software.

    Follow the steps below:

  • Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library linked to Microsoft Security Essentials real-time program

I started having problems a couple of weeks with my Microsoft Security Essentials. The program will start and say it could prove to be not on the real-time protection. This operation returned because the timeout period expired. When I click ok, I followed the instructions. Start services.msc, in search box type, then choose Microsoft Antimalware Service and make sure it is in automatic mode, then start the service. Sometimes it is and sometimes it still wouldn't start. Now, for a few days, when I'm trying to start windows, I get the following message: Microsoft Visual C ++ runtime library: this application has requested the execution in an unusual way. Please contact the team of management applications for more information. Once I get this message that I can't get beyond it. Sometimes of safe mode, I'm able to turn on real protecion, shut down the computer, and it starts normally. Even if I have problems with MSE initially alone, 2 appear to be connected. As soon as the computer is put to sleep, breaks down on its own or stops that I'm back in power out of nowhere I had some restorations system.
