Please HELP WITH OFFICEJET PRO L7580 - HP Imaging Device Software Funstions for Windows Vista

I have a HP Officejet Pro L7580 - connection with laptop Dell and Windows Vista PC.  I did not have printing problems, but has been unable to fax or scan.  I uninstalled the software and put back in place to make sure I had the latest software and compatibility for Vista.  I can now fax but when I try to scan, I get the following error: No analysis Options - refer to device documentation to troubleshoot issues - only, there is no documentation of the device...

When I went to the HP site to install the latest version of the software, I've installed the full functionality & driver software... guess I thought that this would have everything that I need, but it seems that the software of HP Imaging Device functions was not installed...

If anyone has had this problem and what should I do now?  Thanks much for any help you can offer!

  • OfficeJet Pro L7680 AIO: OfficeJet Pro L7680 AIO DRIVER will be available for Windows 10?

(NOTE: you don't list Windows 10 64-bit under the above operating systems.)

I have an OfficeJet Pro L7680 AIO running Windows 7.  It has been a wonderful printer.  (I started to work on printers in 1966, so I have some experience with them).  Its quality and reliability have been superb.

When I "upgraded" to win 8, I found that no driver was, so I bought a new HP AIO, but its controls were so poor and hard to see that I returned it immediately.   Then I returned to Windows 7, a good solid o/s.

Now, I'm thinking 'redevelopment' of Windows 10.  I had assumed that no driver for my L7680 would be available, but I read somewhere that one became available for Windows 8.1 (?)

My question is: a driver Windows 10 will be available for my excellent L7680 AIO?   Or do I have to stay on Windows 7 to use it?

Windows 10 is not quite finished yet, is not clear what will be included.  (Last week there were three versions of the builds on the fast ring.)  The last public version includes a printer HP Officejet Pro L7600 Series driver.

Page www.hp.com/go/windows10upgrade no details, but said toward the end of July for more information on what will be officially supported in Windows 10.

  • Please help with a question of style image...

    Experts:

    1. I defined a style of image that looks like this in the picture style editor:

    image_style_shot.png

    2. I applied the style of an image. As expected, in the WSIWYG Editor, the image is intended for 1.75:

    image_indented.png

The code (for this simple page, which is be a master page, but I found the problem on the regular pages too) looks like this:

    code.png

    3. HOWEVER, in preview mode and in the WebHelp output, graphics is flat against the right edge:

    actual.png

Is something being crushed somewhere? Or, perhaps, I do not understand is what a 'class '?

    Thank you!

    Kurt

    HI Kurt

I may be wrong here, but what you've shared shows the image 'smooshed against' the LEFT is not the right side.

I wonder if the issue here is your designation of the style. I note, there seems to be a period in it. You could try again and make sure that the name of style does not contain a point. I think that this is perhaps confusing things.

Help, please!  I see that there is no HP software update to resolve this issue and am confused why you didn't do your printing software compatible with a huge update of Mac.

    Hi podisc,

Thanks for the quick response.  It is good to hear that you can print, it's at least a start.

I know that you have not received the error messages in the document, but the behavior you describe leads me to believe that the software did not completely uninstall or install completely with the driver for the Mavericks.

  • HP Officejet Pro L7580 - HP Scan program works only on Mac OS Mavericks 10.9.2

    Hello there Support HP,

I can not open HP Scan on my Macbook Pro / Mac OS Mavericks 10.9.2.  I have a HP Officejet Pro L7580. Scanning HP program / app just will not open.  I just scan them with my printer, like I did with my other Mac computer that still works on Mountain Lion.

I would like to reinstall my HP software (HP Scan / to see if that would solve the problem but I can't find the software online.) It's all in your site is the HP-Printer-Driver Update - Patch_v1.0.0, but who has not solved.

Please let me know if HP has a "HP Scan" for the Mavericks working update for my HP Officejet Pro L7580.

    I would really appreciate it!

    See you soon,.

  • I can't find a driver for HP Officejet Pro L7580.

Updated my system to Windows 7 after years of using Vista.  Now, I can not use my HP Officejet Pro L7580 because it cannot find a driver to install.   Each tab has said that the device works perfectly.  I deleted all of the HP software... it off... rebooted... reloaded and still the message says that this driver is missing and it can't find on the site of HP.  He also said that he is not allowed to update the drivers.  During the audit in this area... that's bad.  Updates are always automatic without authorization by this tab, you open to change the settings.  I can't see the problem/solution... can anyone else?

    Hey there,

Make sure you first if you use Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit then follow this link:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&DLC=en&lang=en&LC=en&product=2512008&

If you choose the recommended base or full software driver are the official drivers from HP for the product.

    I hope this helps!

  • Connect my Officejet Pro L7580 on my my wireless home gateway

Is it possible to connect my Officejet Pro L7580 all-in-one directly to my Motorola Wireless Gateway?  I consider the printer becomes visible by other wireless devices and would allow me to print wireless laptops, my iPhone, etc.  Currently, the printer is connected via a USB cable directly to our pc at home.  From a wireless perspective, I currently have the available printer to print wireless connection first via the pc at home.  It works intermittently and the home pc must be on to make it work.  My Wireless Gateway has only an Ethernet port which is connected to the pc at home and it has a USB port.  Not sure of the term appropriate for the size of the USB port, but it is not standard and the size is associated with the USB output on most printers.  Thank you!

Yes, you can keep it connected, but I don't know why you would want to.  All of its features will be available through the connection to a gateway.
