Plug &; Play does not work - cell HP Pavilion dm4 - Windows 7
These three issues all occurred as soon as I uninstalled Norton (demo of limited duration which came with my PC) and installed AVG. I think they are all symptoms of the same underlying issue.
1. the popup saying "no amd graphics driver is installed or the amd driver does not work correctly.
2. device Manager is empty.
3. connect & Play will not find my scanner (who worked previously).
I searched using Google and found a number of indications, which neither help my PC: making sure plug & play service is running (it is); changing permissions with Regedit (even the user Admin is said that they do not have the authorization).
I asked AVG support for advice, and they blame Norton (well, they would say who they don't?)
Any ideas?
If you start in safe mode with networking, is still a Virgin in the Device Manager? This can be done in turn on/off the system by pressing F8 about once per second to get the safe mode option.
Is there a restore point before problems happen? If so, restore to that date. Once restored, run the Norton removal tool to Norton is removed (a system restore will most likely restore any software who was present at that date) then note whether the issues are present before installing AVG.
Let me know what happens.

Your model has an AMD chipset and processor. Therefore, the Intel chipset driver will not work.
First, install the AMD chipset driver and restart.

If that does not install the USB 3.0 drivers (see the file they are included), then download and install both of these drivers and USB 3.0 will work for sure in this way.

The magnetic site says the requirements are for Windows XP or higher. However, it is not on the Windows Vista or the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.
You can try the following to see if it will help with compatibility. If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.
Use the following steps:
(1) right click on the program
2) click Properties
3) click on the Compatibility tab
(4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.Check out the link here: make sure to run older programs in this version of Windows

1. have you downloaded the stand-alone package for the service Pack 2 or are you using Windows update?2. you also try to install Windows 7?

I just bought HP Pavilion notebook n210se and configurations are as follows:
Intel 4th generation Corei5 4200 processor
4 GB of Ram
Windows 8.1 Pro
Version of the BIOS F42
I downloaded and installed all the latest drivers to date of the HP Web site:
I activated the option enable virtualization in the BIOS and after that when selected the options of Hyper-V features Trun power Windows and restart the computer, the machine hangs with a logo of HP.
When I disabled the option of virtualization from the BIOS, machine started successfully. But it is mandatory for me to install Hyper-V that I am a Windows Phone 8.1 developer and I need to run emulator WP8 and it does not work without Hyper-V active.
Please help me because it was the main purpose of buying this laptop.
I have already read some forum messages and did a few steps as:
1: Install the latest drivers for Ralink bluetooth device
2: uninstall the Ralink bluetooth device
3: device disabled bluetooth device manager Ralink
But nothing has worked for me.
A specially HP support person can help me? I'd really appreciate it.

Acer ft200hql touch screen does not work w / HP Pavilion dv7-5000, Win 7 Pro 64-bit
After searching for and buying touch screen FT200HQL, it does work with my HP Pavilion laptop dv7-5000, Windows 7, 64-bit. I have the USB cable is connected (even if it says that it is optional in user's Guide - not an option if you want the touchscreen to work). I tried it with an Acer, Gateway and an another HP Pavilion laptop (all Win 7), & it works perfectly with them, but not w / mine. All my drivers are up to date. (Although there is not driver site Acer for the FT200HQL for Win 7 & I don't think that what they have listed as a driver for Win 8 is a pilot). A Microsoft Search to ensure the compatibility of the FT200HQL compatible shows and there's nothing I should do. Help, please! I really like the monitor & don't want to send again, but I bought it mainly for the touch screen feature.

I bought a Nvidia GTX 750 to replace the Radion HD 6850 provided with my system, but who had stopped working. I found that the GTX card was not compatible with my system Bios. I found this forum and a list of video cards supposed to be compatible for my system. I bought one of these, a Radion HD 7770 (2 GB). I find that this card is also not compatible with my system. The system fails to post or boot. I would like to know why a video card that says HP needs work support does not work.
Final note: I bought a Max Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti view as my fourth attempt to find a video card that was compatible with my system. This card was also in the linked list to above, as well as two other cards that I tried that failed, but it works. This map has been accessible to the general public for not expensive via Amazon. This may mean the GTX 580 on the list will work as well as the 660 GTX mentioned in another thread on this forum, but they were both more expensive.

When I try to install a new program in my windows system 7, or when I insert a blank disc to burn music the 'auto play' will not work. When I opened the computer and right click on the 'E' drive, a window opens and I click on 'Open' and I get another window which asks to me "Please insert a disk". Can anyone help?

Select "Change the default settings for the media or deivces"
There should be a box in the upper left entitled: "Use AutoPlay for all media and devices".
Place a check in this box and then click on the Save"" button.
You will also see a long list of options 'media '. two of them are named: blank CD and DVDs.

My laptop is HP Probook 6465b (model 2012) it came with Win 7 Pro pre-installed.
I upgraded Win 10 and after that a Wi - Fi connection does not work. Then I tried the new facility, but it's the same thing. I have come back to Win 7, but I would like to upgrade Win 10 if I can get the WiFi adpter for work. My laptop otherwise works fine and it is not that old so I am confused why this wi - fi adapter gives me grey hair.
Here is what happened:
Just after upgading wi - fi works very well until the first stop. After reboot, free WiFi does not work and there is no wi - fi adapter in Device Manager. However, it's there, but it is hidden.
I tried freezing and relocation of the map and I downloaded the latest drivers from HP Support, but I can't get the adapter to work.
To get the internet to work I plugged USB wi - fi adapter and suddenly the WiFi Broadcom card started working also. She even worked after unplugging the wi - fi USB adapter but after reboot internal wi - fi adapter was missing again well (hidden and does not), it is too compligated to do each time and she even does not work every time, just every now and then.
Any suggestions?
