' Plugged in and no charging current.

I have a Pavilion dv6 nine notebook and the battery just doesn't work. When it is plugged into the power supply, it works perfectly but shows "plugged and no charging current. I ran the HP battery test and he simply says 'unknown '. Looks like a clear case of a defective battery for me, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has other ideas. Thank you

" Remove or replace any surge protectors. " Remove the surge protectors between the system and outlet. Unplug them only in order to solve this problem. Connect the system directly to a wall socket that is well known. A lamp or a hair dryer can be plugged into the wall outlet to check that it works.
Over time, the surge protectors can develop bad connections and present a potential of incompatible power between the wall outlet and the system. Some surge protectors have fuses that have to be reset in the case of an increase in energy consumption. This might indicate there are too many devices and the surge protector with power to the surge protector limit exceeded. If the surge protector is equipped with a fuse and reset it solves the problem, remove some of the connected devices and the surge protector. Make sure that the wall outlet is not connected to a wall switch which can be turned off inadvertently.
Important: Once the problem has been resolved; If it turns out to be the cause of the problem or if something turns out to be the problem, replace the surge protector, plug it back. • battery is not detected, plugged in and not charging

    Hello

I have problems with charging the battery and my Windows 7. When starting, the battery is detected in the BIOS and load (led lit without flashing). As soon as the computer stops on my drive HARD and Windows loads, the light starts flashing, indicating that the battery is not. In Windows, the battery meter displays "no battery detected" or "plugged and no charging current.

At first I thought that my battery was simply grow old, but accident I forgot to plug in the power adapter and the computer came out of the battery for ~1.5h, even if Windows does not recognize a battery. This still applies, which I have not found a solution for another.

I tried to run the material off another copy of Win7 and the same thing happens. I did not have time to try Linux or Windows XP, since I don't own or. I also tried to uninstall the battery ACPI Control Manager device, but without success.

Any suggestion would be great, because I have not found that any forum messages similar to the following.

  • After update 4/16 charger error "available to 99%, but no charging current.

I have a HP Pavilion dv7 laptop running Windows Vista version 6.0 (build 6002: Service Pack 2). I just receive automatic updates downloaded on April 16. I restarted the pc after the updates and noticed that battery charging (lightning) indicator flashes. I checked the battery capacity icon and it said "99% available, but no charging current. I tried to do a power off, remove the battery, power on, and then make the dough power off, resettlement and power. This has not fixed the problem. I tested the dough by removing current alternative and hurtling at 60% battery. I then plugged the AC power in and battery charged up to 99% and the battery charge indicator always flashes. Anyone know if this is a bug that was introduced with the new updates? I've seen similar complaints on Windows 7.

    Thank you

    Nina

Try removing the battery and current alternative AND THEN press on and press and hold power for 20 seconds.

Replace the battery and the AC adapter / CC and test again.

    Hello

These figures show that the battery is always 100%.

If you still see the sector, message on the battery meter does not charge, perform the following steps.

The situation you describe can usually be fixed by doing a Cycle of power on the laptop.

    Perform the following steps.

    1. shut down the computer.

2 unplug everything from the computer. This includes the AC adapter / CC, Modems and routers and external devices, such as printers, disks, USB devices, etc. Nothing should be left plugged into the computer.

    3. remove the battery.

4 wait 30 seconds. Press and hold the power button on the laptop for 15 seconds. This evacuates any excess electric energy out of the laptop.

5 reconnect everything on the computer, including the power adapter and the battery.

Start the computer and check the results to see if the problem is resolved.

    Diagnosis

The video "Refresh" is switching between 60 (on food) and 50 Hz (on battery), and the screen goes momentarily empty.

    Solution

So what about current alternative, office > right click > properties > settings > advanced > monitor. Here, under the display settings, set the refresh rate of the screen at 50 Hertz. After you apply these settings, the flashing problem gets fixed.

  • My Apple Watch will not charge on the charger.  I cleaned the back of the watch and the charger.  Any ideas?

My Apple Watch will not charge on the charger.  I tried to clean the back of the watch and the charger more used several points of sale, but in vain.  Any ideas?

    Hello

When you reload your watch, check that:

    • All the plastic film was removed from both ends and both sides of the cable support (consult closely on the head of the charger).

    • On the back of your watch and the head of the charge cable are clean and dry (clean with an abrasive, lint cloth).
    • The head of the load is properly aligned with the back of the watch, with the concave side / curve touch fully:
      • Some docks of watch, brackets, cases or protectors might hinder it.
    • You use a real Apple magnetic Charging Cable or a certified Apple module magnetic charge.
    • If you reload your watch by plugging into a power outlet:
      • Check that the magnetic charge cable Apple USB connector is fully engaged in the USB power adapter.
      • Try to use different maps of the following:
        • The real Apple USB Power Adapter that came with the watch, or;
        • A true 5W Apple (iPhone) or 12W (iPad) USB power adapter, or;
        • A third-party certified 5W (MFi) Apple USB power adapter.
      • Try to charge via a USB port (see following).
    • If loading via a USB port on a computer, make sure that you use a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port, the computer remains turned on and awake, and the cable is plugged directly into the computer (not on, for example, an external keyboard).
    • If your battery is very low, you may need to wait a few minutes for the green lightning appear (confirming that the charge has started).

Once the load has started, you can tap on the screen at any time to check the progress (leave a few minutes at the beginning, where the watch is in charge of a very low battery level). A green lightning bolt symbol indicates that your watch is being loaded. It is normal the screen back to sleep while continuous load.
