Plugin Shockwave Flash 22.214.171.1246 requires the update
But it returns me to this page https://blocklist.addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p178
I tried to use the form in the Page check but who hold with the circle of rotation.
It is not anyway to update the plugin.
Also tried a reset of Firefox
FredMcD, ActiveX is a plugin for Internet Explorer only, so it will not work with Firefox.
Try https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/download/?installer=FP_16_for_Firefox_-_NPAPI & standalone = 1
The http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html and get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ must serve the current 126.96.36.1995 correctly as it has been available for download since February 5.
Shockwave Flash says Firefox is vulnerable and requires the update when it has been updated.
After opening a page, Firefox gave a warning that "Shockwave Flash is vulnerable and needs to be updated". I went to get.adobe.com and updated to 188.8.131.52, but the warning was repeated and the blocked content. I checked youtube, which would play music and videos tutorial DIY of two tests without any problem, but still repeat the warning of block. I checked the Addons Manager, who said that he had to update Flash, but when I checked adobe it said I had the latest update. Manager of Addons for Flash, "always enable" under dimmed, the option 'request to activate' selected but grayed out when I clicked on the menu drop-down button, and the option "never activate" standard black text.
After seeing a few other similar questions recently, I tried the answer to "Force a Ping of Blocklist"
.. who is not "defined" in the Console of the browser and had no effect on the issue.
Hello von_tyrone, the latest version of flash, you need to update because it fixes several vulnerabilities is Flash Player 184.108.40.206. It is available at https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
Shockwave Flash 11.3 r300 will not be updated on the new Mac OSX 10.7.4
Running a new MAC - OSX 10.7.4 - Firefox plugin list says updating Shockwave Flash. Upgrade computer, restarted and the list still says I need to update to Shockwave.
Please can you advise why this is happening and how I can fix the problem.
Thank you very much
You have the latest version of Flash - there is nothing more you need to do. The problem is that there is a newer version of Flash, but it's for Windows only. If the plugin check page should just be looking at the version number. I'll fill a bug report and see if this can be fixed.
Why Firefox always turns off "activate" on the plugin Shockwave Flash in Firefox 39
Impossible to always select "activate" on the Shockwave Flash plugin since the upgrade to Firefox 39 today. I refuse to use this browser if I have to type "Allow and Remember" on every page that contains the flash code. He does not remember preferences, period. Have already rebooted my system, reinstalled Firefox flash and reinstalled twice. I tried uninstalling 39 and install automatically with a 37 talon but he upgraded me at 39
Flash has been blocked yesterday had to break and actively exploited security vulnerabilities. Please update flash today to be able to use it again.
Help! Can not go beyond "a plugin (shockwave flash) is not responding. What to do?
This has happened for weeks. A temporary solution for me is to keep restore my laptop Win 7 SP 1 HP Pavilion to a set point previously saved restoration. My system says I have version 2100197 installed Flash, I can't tell if it's the last? Attempts to end pull with a frozen screen.
I think I have the latest version of Chrome installed as bars chrome do not indicate a new version when a right click. I have activated Adobe Flash Player, a long time ago, I do not know why the failure notice relates Shockwave Flash because I don't think he's on my laptop (?). I can't find any reference to have. On my profile in the list only the Flash Player is referenced, there is no other player competing or plug-ins.
Troubleshooting, this would be LARGELY APPRECIATED. I'm really tired.
Thanks in advance,

Managed to get a newer version of loaded FireFox which allowed me to remove
My Chrome program and reinstall it. It seems that I did not have the
last program of Chrome that last seems different, despite the
claims that it automatically updated Adobe Flash player name. He
seems that my previous version of Chrome was defective in some way and unable
to be repaired, or even a diagnosis. I wonder how many times Chrome should be
removed and replaced to avoid conflicts? If there is a way to give you
a 'proper' credit, pls let me know and I will. Thanks a million and God

Lenovo, Yoga 2 - a plugin (Shockwave Flash) does not.
I have also exactly the same questions. In order to overcome, I am now running four browsers - chrome, firefox, IE and Edge, and each of them do. It is unpredictable and infuriating.
And a question - why this thread is marked "assumed answered" when clearly has not been resolved?
I moved this to another thread because it seems separate from the thread you have answered initially, but all traffic connects to the station not move themselves.
I'll summarize the conversation here for posterity:
- Hi Jean-Luc thanks for that. I followed your instructions and turned off the hardware acceleration in Chrome. Not sure if it worked yet. Will test a few sites. Your suggestion to do the same thing in Flash is however from the pages running Flash seize up, of course! I couldn't go pretty far in following your instructions! But you continue to try and report. thanksSue

Oh, it's certainly no good. He probably won't want to help then. If you have not restarted since you started having this problem, start here. If it still persists after restarting, please make sure you have all up-to-date with Windows Update and update to Chrome (go to Chrome > chrome) and make sure you have the latest version running.
Sue Thomas Sep 21, 2015 14:16 (in response to Henry Clark)
AHA! I had restarted Chrome but did not after the installation. I have done this now and it's fine. I managed to get into the image of the tree and hardware acceleration disabled. Facebook seems to work ok in Chrome now. I'm going to test other browsers.

Looks like you've cracked smaily, for me at least! Following your advice, I turned off the hardware acceleration in Chrome and via the instructions from Adobe, you posted. He now works in Chrome, Firefox, IE, and Edge. Thank you very much!
Shockwave Flash 220.127.116.11 set to update automatically, however...
Under December 2015 Adobe Security Bulletin, I wanted to check my previous Shockwave Plugin update and viola! It was already updated to 18.104.22.168 in date from 12/08/2015. Great! That said, I also noted that, under the foregoing to day was a previous November 2015 Shockwave 22.214.171.124, still in place... a bit strange, nespau? I'm wrong, but the new update should completely replace the old, do not install the older version of again and remain status quo? Doesn't seem to be a problem in terms of performance, however, I would be recognizing opinions as to whether the latter should be removed manually, or left as that is.
See attached screenshot.
Thanks in advance.
First try to restart Firefox if it was running when updating Adobe Flash Player. Sometimes the Flash Player doesn't have older version on Windows.
You can use the uninstaller to uninstall Flash Player, and then install the current version.
Make sure Firefox is not running / closed before uninstallation and installation of Flash Player.

Reinstalled CS4 - cannot open the old files CS4 because plug-ins require the update?
So I bought Adobe CS4 years. Installed on a macbook. MacBook died, got the new MacBook Pro, installed. Use a (mostly indesign) ton for my business, no problem. My hard drive crashed a few months ago. I reformatted the hard drive on my MacBook Pro, then used my old CS4 discs to reinstall the material with the old serial code. I opened indesign to start working on an older project (I was working on before the reformat) and it says that it cannot open this file because I'm missing the plugins? I have attached two screens (the other appears after I press OK first.) I get trying to open these files. And oddly, I opened old illustrator and photoshop files, no problem. It's just indesign?
If it was because I didn't disable the software - and I'm on the 2 install limit? But I just spoke with someone at adobe and they said that it wasn't that. Adobe Updater says I have no update, I tried to search the indesign updates? I don't know and I'm a little panic please help!

With 2 Shockwave Flash Plugin... How can I remove it?
On my Add-ons, Plugins tab Manager, I have 2 Shockwave Flash plugin...
Shockwave Flash 11.9.900.117 and Shockwave Flash 126.96.36.199
I think I know why I have the another old version of Flash... That's because I recently installed Macromedia Flash 8... However, what I want, it is to remove the plugin Shockwave Flash 188.8.131.52 on Firefox without uninstalling completely from my computer... is it possible?
You can find the location (path) of all the plugins installed on the topic: plugins page.
Impossible to update Shockwave Flash plugin
I'm only updating Shockwave Flash because the plugin page says to do so; Otherwise, I have no problems. The sequence of update I'm having problems is different from those described by others:
(1) check the updates of the plugin: Shockwave Flash 11.1 r102 was highlighted as 'Vulnerable' with red UPDATE NOW.
(2) click on update now and was prompted to download Adobe Flash Player 184.108.40.206 (no Shockwave Flash); Downloaded ran .exe install file. Closed Firefox installation, such as requested and installation is complete.
(3) Firefox open; Active plugins and now reviews of saw that version of Flash Player is outdated and people with disabilities.
(4) as test, played a video of youtube; Click command prompt at the top of the screen for "plugin" missing Run auto update, called for the closure of Firefox and completed the installation.
(4) Firefox open; Checked plugins and once again saw that Shockwave Flash needed UPDATE NOW (as described in #1 above). Adobe Flash Player is not listed anywhere in the plugin list.
So now that I'm back to where I was before, I'm wondering if I'm really vulnerable because of this version of Shockwave Flash.
Of course, some confusion.
Pablo said: 'downloaded from your link (64-bit version). »
- You need the 32-bit version of Flash for Firefox.
- Download, SAVE, and then run (with Firefox closed), the manual installer for 32-bit for Firefox from this link-> http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_32bit.exe
- The installation of Flash screen is below this message. Check the box as shown in the area described in orange, and then click the button 'Install' in the lower right.
To clarify: to determine which version is installed in Firefox, use Firefox only when you go to the Plugin Check page or the Adobe page "about". I've known a few cases in which the computer must be restarted after the installation of the new version of Flash for this new version to be recognized.
- Also see-> http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html
If the information immediately preceding in this answer does not work for you, you may uninstall Flash completely from your system and start with the installation of Flash again. Note, in the article below, there are 2 programs uninstall, one for 32-bit and one for 64 - bit; Download and run at the same time. Then, follow the instructions in my original answer above to reinstall and test Flash.
Sorry that you have problems with the installation of Flash, but many users on 64 - bit systems posed problems with the new installer 32 bit/64 bit combined from Adobe.
If this answer solved your problem, please click 'Solved It' next to this response when connected to the forum.

where can I get the Shockwave Flash plug-in
Shockwave Flash caused my browser 40.0.3 to launch the videos, I didn't play, I added an add-on to block the Flash Shockwave; However, this has become very cumbersome to turn on and off when I go to sites requiring Flash as a greeting card site. I found an other add-on called "Video without Flash", he told me to remove 'shockwave Flash' I did it, now I can't any video on the site of greeting card. Is the problem that I removed the Shockwave Flash or something else, I have the latest version of Adobe's Flash Player.
I need help.
I did some more digging found the plug-in, and now I am up a race thanks to all who responded that you help me a lot...
