PMCQ 8200 Elite DHaut UltraSlim: UPS

What the UPS are recommended for my system give me 10, 20 or 30 minutes of duration of operation in case of power failure? My screen is a Samsung TV 18 inches. What kVA capacity do I need from the above?

I also automatically scheduled backups every hour.

Unfortunately, this isn't a simple question to answer, as the TOTAL energy consumption is the combination of ALL the material that is fed, not only the PC, so you should include a monitor and any other electrical appliance to be powered when the PC is running.

In my case, I use a 1500 CyberPower PSU, and it has a screen that indicates the power used.  With a desktop computer, three drives, three monitors, shows 1/5th of the power capacity being used - about 300 watts.

Then, to which aid for example, it will cost $150 for UPS.  versions of 1000 watts costs about $100 and versions 550 watts less than $50.

I bought this one because it must be able to feed two desktop computers, including a server with 6 large drives hard and two monitors.

For a single PC, a 1000 watt meter should be more than enough.

Good luck

    To get help without going through the business forum... According to the specification, this model supports a legacy of VGA analog channels and a modern digital DisplayPort port. Two of these ports get their signals integrated Intel graphics subsystem. The DisplayPort port will require an adapter unless the monitor has also a display port. If the computer has been ordered with an alternative graphics or one card has been installed everything changes.

    Hello, I am trying to determine if the update of the BIOS shown on your website is right for my machine: HP Compaq 8200 Elite MT PC. After selecting 'Let HP find my products,' he identified my machine and sent me to a page that asked me to 'Select language driver and OS' two squares. I selected my language, then going on to the next box that asked me to choose my operating system. However, it does include all the Windows 10 selections. I used to have initially Windows 7 Professional. However, I've recently upgraded to Windows Professional 10. Is it safe select the operating system Windows 7 Professional, even if I is no longer on the machine? You see, I want to update BIOS, because I'm having trouble starting after I install memory upgrades, and the provider of the RAM is recommended to upgrade to the latest version of BIOS upgrade before installing the upgrade of RAM, to eliminate these problems. I don't want to make a mistake, and then select the wrong BIOS update. There is an update of the BIOS on HP.com for my MoBo machine, but only for Windows 7 Pro. So should I go back to 7 Pro, before the update?  Please, inform me as to what I should do.

    Hello:

    I just got the flash drive, I use to update BIOS on my HP business desktop PC.

    I plugged in my dc7800 CMT W10 also running.

    The window on the flash drive, and I closed it.

    Then I went on the desktop, click on this PC, click with the right button on the flash drive, which is drive E:\ in my case.

    Then I chose the Format from the menu, and a box will open.

    In the file system drop-down list that I get on my USB flash drive, I get the following options:

    FAT (by default) which is what you want to use.

    NTFS

    FAT32

    exFAT

    So if you don't see these options, try another flash drive.

    The motherboard has 4 RAM slots. Scan system critical Kingston say I can have up to 32 GB of ram, and I've seen screenshots of people who have this system and are indeed using 32 GB of ram.

    However when I install 32 GB of ram, the system will not even after. Nothing at all. With 16 GB, it works very well, and the doc on the HP site for this system say that it can take up to 16 GB of ram.

    Why the site HP says 16 GB and everything else say 32 GB, and there are people who HAVE 32 GB work?

    Crucial support said I might have to activate an XMP profile in the bios, but there is no option for this at all.

  • PC HP Compaq 8200 Elite CMT: Replacement of the SSD HARD drive and Recovery Options

    I have a PC HP Compaq 8200 Elite CMT I went recently to drive HARD original for one SSD of 850 Evo from Samsung using Samsungs cloning/copying software. Everything went well and the PC is in use today. I do not see the partition D: Recovery on this machine more well, so I think this has not copied or was lost. I still have the disk that was replaced.

    I was wondering if there is a way to replace HARD drive like this with an SSD and everything by keeping the system recovery feature that was on the HARD disk, and if a set of system recovery disks of before installing SSD would continue to operate, or if I need to create new ones, and if I CAN create new ones.

    rgoodrich

    I did what you want to do (for example, to replace a disk with a DDI) and was able to retain the function of HP recovery - but it's because of two important facts.

    First of all, I used a DDI with the same capacity as the original HARD disk.  This is important because if you use a smaller SDS, the HP recovery feature will no more work as a reset begins with reformatting the drive and recreate the original scores - which will fail if the disc is too small.

    Second, I use Macrium Reflect product to 'clone' the HDD to the DDI, which means, he made an exact copy of the partitions on disk on the SDS.  So, when I swapped drives, the PC restarted without any problem.

    People have posted here on the use of the software from Samsung, and they seem to have problems restarting after use and (apparently) with successful copy from disk HARD original in the new SDS.

  • Division by zero weird problem on HP 8200 Elite SFF

    Greetings,

    I posted my message here, it appears now that my problem is hardware specific.  My machine has the following specifications:

    HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF
    Intel Core i5-2500 Duo @3.3 GHz processor
    8 GB memory

    Windows 7 x 64

    (I can provide more details if necessary)

    This has been me puzzled for more than a week now!

    We have an application where we lack in a division by zero. That request is deliberately built to raise exceptions in this case, with a call to the function _controlfp_s for edit masks on floating point exceptions.

    Now, when you run in a division by zero pretty much all of our machines, Visual Studio 2005 debugger breaks in the right place in our source files. However, on this machine, the location of the break is in every sense and seems to be unrelated to the real cause of the failure. So as a test, I built a simple win32 C program with just the following lines of code:

    int main (int argc, char * argv [])
    {
    float temp1, temp2, temp3;
    unsigned int control;

    _controlfp_s (& control, _EM_UNDERFLOW + _EM_INEXACT, _MCW_EM);

    Temp1 = 1.0;
    Temp2 = 0.0;
    Temp3 = temp1/temp2;

    return 0;
    }

    On all these 'good' machines, the code breaks when the temp3.  Among the other machines tested successfully, I had various hardware and operating systems, including Server 2008 R2, Windows XP x 32 and Windows 7 Pro x 64.  However, on this machine, the code stops at:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\crt\src\tidtable.c

    function:

    __set_flsgetvalue()

    In reviewing the records I have change the assembler code, everything seems fine until I hit the "ptsps" statement... then all records seem to be messed up (vs research as expected on a good machine). When comparing the stack on the good vs. bad, I also see entries of pile on the wrong machine, I don't see a good...

    Now... Here's what I did to solve problems:
    1. a disc image of the original disc HP on a hot spare and the original picture restored.
    2. only installed Visual Studio 2005 Pro - portion of C++.
    3 - tested above, code has always failed.

    4 - update all service packs Windows and tested above code.  Failed.

    5 - update all service packs, the Studio 2005 and tested above code. Failed.

    6 uninstalling all the bloatware and tested above code. Failed.

    7 - updating the BIOS and firmware and tested above code. Failed.

    8. install Visual Studio 2010 and tested above code. Failed.

    Then... I decided to take my spare disk image and install it on a similar, but a little older HP computer that we have, which has the following specifications:

    HP Compaq 8000 Elite SFF
    Intel Core Duo E8400 #3 GHz
    4 GB memory

    I went through the process of installation very well, even though she used the typewriter 8200 recovery partition.  On this machine, I simply installed the operating system and Visual Studio 2005 Pro - portion of C++.  No service packs not whatsoever (even if the Studio 2005 requires an update for 'vista') and the code worked as expected!

    So, that leaves me about almost everything but the material!  Also note that I tried to disable several processors and all optimization of the BIOS on the 8200, without success.

    I don't see anything else I can try... Please help!

    Wow!

    After the posting of this message to a friend... He found a document showing very similar symptoms on some of their CPUs from intel... I then found the exact document who applied to our specific processor (intel i5-2500) here:

    http://www.Intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/specification-updates/2nd-Gen-core-desktop-specification-update.PDF

    See Erratum BJ1

    This article describes pretty much exactly what I run into!  (Seriously), I never thought this would be a problem at THIS level!

    Hello.

    I'm upgrading of the power supply in my Hp Compaq 8200 Elite format microtour.

    The /PSU motherboard uses an archaic connector that looks like a connector 6-pin inline with to the (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b225/r4ch3t/Aux-connector-148x200.gif). But it is connected with 4 wires (red/white, white, green, purple)

    To upgrade the PSU, I need to find a way to connect it to the new motherboard, but I can't find any information or datasheet for the motherboard or the power supply.

    Motherboard:

    For w10pro c: / recommend reinstall to ssd or migrate ssd or even is...?

    SSDS all have sons the same size and holes threaded on the bottom and sides.  They all use the same fine metric threads live short (short, so they don't lower).  These screws must come with the adapter, and I live in general using the lateral holes.  Parts of the adapter have threaded, 3 holes and you will use the back ahead and away from those for channels of the drive Bay.  If you look at each side of a standard 3.5 "HDD, you will see the same same spacing holes.

    Some jobs need the SSD to shift to the left so the orientation of the SSD SATA power and data ports match exactly where they would be if the current drive was a 3.5 "HARD drive clutter.  An example is the drive in a Z620 of drawers which accept 3.5 form factor devices "and slides of drawers in the deep part of the case and automatically mesh with ports of power/data SATA back inside.

    Jobs that fuel just a loose cable and the data cable for the SSD is really doesn't matter much if the SSD is an adapter which keeps it more centered or offset to the left.  I've seen cases where a disk HARD 3.5 "given in the lower Bay and a centered SSD is in the upper drive Bay and there was nearly not enough cable length to reach easily shifted left for drives staggered in the Center.  You can see in the photo below that the Garland of feeding on the HARD drive has two unused SATA power below connectors, and there is not a lot of room between them.

    The card you chose seems good... solid metal.  For the HP 8200 Elite CMT I have access to screws 4 total special 6-32 UNC silver HP threaded screw threaded back ahead and away from the screw holes on both sides of the adapter, and then you use the extraordinary end threads metric short screws mentioned above to fix the SSD to the adapter, as shown in the pictures of Amazon.  These HP silver screw 6-32 no metric I'm talking using Torx or flat screwdriver and their leaders are trained to slip into the channels of the drive Bay.

    There are also other designs which are designed specifically for some HP workstations that include mounts insulation rubber with the sliding mechanism.  I don't think you have that... Here is a picture of eBay one of the 8200 Desktop Elite CMT demonstrating the existence of space on the left for 8 of these silver screw to store, which 4 are missing and used on 3.5 "single drive, you see there.  Don't throw those... they are not something, you can go to Ace hardware and buy.
