  Your image main podcast is 1.1 MB - it must be less than 500 KB. Your first episode shows an image in the search results (even if it is more than 500 KB), but those remaining is smaller than 1400 x 1400.

  Once corrected, images can often take quite a few days to appear in the store.

  Apple actually pulls your description of the summary tag - and NOT the description.

  To update your description in your libsyn account go to 'Destinations' and then click 'Edit' to classic libsyn to power.

  For the summary field - put in your new description and click Save.

  Before clicking on save - also be sure to select 'Explicit' for your show.  Go forward iTunes wants to see a show as clean or explicit.  And if you have an episode that is explicit - you should do the show as explicit.

  See make a library of portable split. Have you copied the correct .itl file, or should you connect an external hard disk .itl file? If you can find the correct .itl, it should have all your songs and playlists. See the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library when the library has been altered for the first time with the new system. If you have to start creating your new library in an iTunes folder to the root of the external drive and move all the media inside... \iTunes\iTunes Media before adding to the library.

  Thank you for your comments. My roommate eventually find me a partial solution. We uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled an iTunes earlier. He thinks that my computer isn't compatible with the latest version of iTunes. So I have the version iTunes 12.1.1 for Windows (64-bit for older video cards), rather than the 12.1.2. We are still not certain why my computer did not have the latest version (it's probably just old) but I can find my iPhone on iTunes now so I'll just ti let to the old version.

• Stream Podcast shows of new episodes, but feed validators and subscribed itunes do not update

  Hello everyone, I ran a rather strange problem this morning during the release of my latest podcast episode.  When I publish a new episode, it appears in the flow, but it will not appear in itunes.  I know that there is a delay for the itunes store to show the episode but the episode shows when I check with a subscribed podcast app.

  I downloaded a total of five episodes, including an introduction, episode 00 and 4 all episodes 01-04.  Currently, only one episode (the introduction-00) appears in the itunes store or the itunes preview link if I share from there.  If it subscribes, all episodes appear in personal 'my Podcasts' popular section of iTunes in their diet for my podcast, but as we all know, too many people are phobic tech and have no idea how to find out who.  For the average viewer to iTunes, it seems that there is just an episode.

  I back date my episodes, so they will be displayed in chronological order, which is necessary for the experience of the listener.

  I use the plugin to powerpress blubrry on sparkling wine of wordpress theme. For the Introduction I just use the standard Visual text tab to build the post for episodes 01-04 page, I use the generator page tab to build those facing pages.  But, again, the episodes appear very well for those who subscribe (if they know how to find the episodes!   Most of my audience never even heard a podcast before, so I have to make sure that it is clear as glass before launch or I lose 'em.

  You say that you backdated episodes so there is no way of knowing when they are in fact. The lastBuildDate tag shows today, so if indeed you have added only episodes 1-4 today (episode 00 is displayed in the store) it is not surprising that they have not mounted in the store again.

  When you add a new episode to your stream and download it, it immediately appears for subscribers because their iTunes application reads the stream directly and the store is not involved.

  However, due to the multiplicity of the podcasts in the store (in thousands) the store caches the flow and it checks updates periodically. For this reason, there are usually 1-2 days for new episodes to appear in the store: sometimes it can be lower, and sometimes the whole process seems stuck and it may take several days.

  Everything seems to be in order with your workflow so assuming that these episodes were published in the last few days, it is quite normal to do not appeared yet, and they should do it in a few days or more.

  Ignore the update, Podcasts is built into iOS 9, you can't update built-in apps on your iPad (except through iOS updates). (It's show due to: remove the built-in apps from the home screen on your device iOS with iOS beta 10 - Apple Support)

  If you have not all devices running older versions of iOS (or if you do, if you do not use Podcasts on them), you could remove the application from the My Apps from your iTunes library section so that the "update" to disappear.
