Podcasts play in a weird order

I posted another thread about my main problem, but I have another question which is less important, but kind of annoying.

I downloaded all the Welcome to Vale of night podcasts and put them in the folder of my Podcasts on the MP3 player. Each episode is numbered and the record, they appear in numerical order. But when I opened this file in the menu of the MP3 player (rather than on my computer while the player is connected), the titles do not appear in numerical order. Which is kind of annoying when I'm trying to listen to them in order. No idea why this is happening, or what I can do about it? Thank you!

Sport orders the files according to the FAT32 filling system rather than use the logical file names. I use the free 'DriveSort' to sort. It only takes a few clicks.

    In-app music, press the "mini player" (the narrow ribbon at the bottom showing the song that is playing).  Which opens upward from the view of work full screen of the song being played - down at the bottom of this screen are icons for shuffle and repeat, press Repeat until the gray background disappears.

  • Audiobooks don't play no not in order of detonators

    I'm trying to get my rocket to recognize the tags that I entered manually so that it will play audio files in order. It seems to play my files in a random order, which puzzled me. Here is what I tried and my info.

    Rocket: 4GB Total. 250 MB of free space. MSC mode

    Firmware: V01.01.22A

    Operating system: Vista

    I want to mark my files so that she plays day 1.1, 2.1 day day 2.12, 1.12 day day 2.21,..., day 5.1, etc...

    Now, I used several programs to change the tag including the Explorer Windows, Media Monkey, MP3tag. I have mark and then copy it to the reader to rocket to the updating of the library. I tried the title according to description above, marking marking of the genre as "Audiobook", the Album, by changing the file name of marking. These don't work. Files to continue to play in the mess where it would go something like this day, 1.1, 1.2 day 3.1, day 2.1, day 1.3. What makes it frustrating because I could be listening to the audio book in disorder.

    Any ideas? I'm lost here.

    Well, it seems to work now. Basically, do not use the naming scheme I had more early for example 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, etc... Also don't have no need to name the field "title" as 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, as well. The field "title" can be left empty. Rocket command files according to the title. That is why I now use day 1A, 1B, 1 c, 2 a,..., 5 c, 5 d, etc.

  • My podcasts play at a faster pace.  How can I fix it?

    Yesterday, I noticed that all my downloaded podcasts were playing at a faster pace.  It looks like all the speakers are hyped up on caffeine (or something).  It is not a subtle level, and it is very distracting.  Is there a fix to reconmend?  I can't find a way to reinstall it.  I use the iPhone running podcast app.

    Podcasts on iOS has a speed at the bottom button. Tap that, until he says "1 x speed"

  • How to play songs in alphabetical order?

    Probably a stupid question, but I look for the answer...

    I have a 2 GB Clip + (8GB MicroSD added on) and I have about 900 songs on the card. I use mp3tag to mark up artist, title and Album (with year, track, Genre and comment empty). I put the album for each as 'mp3' because I don't really like it to be broken down by albums, artist and title.

    Inscription by the artist works well, but if I scroll the list and pick, say, Aerosmith, he will show me that I have 13 songs by them. But they are not in alphabetical order... all the way. Some are, and then some are not. It looks like this:

    F.I.N.E.

    Fever

    Last child

    Mama Kin

    No more no more

    One-way street

    Same Old Song and Dance

    Shut Up and Dance

    Sweet Emotion

    Train Kept a Rollin '

    Walk This Way

    Back In the Saddle

    Dream it

    She seems to throw a few previous ones in the lower part (12 and 13) where they should be numbers 1 and 2. I noticed that it's like that with other artists too. How can I get the titles of each artist in alphabetical order?

    Well... I managed to do the work. Here's what I did (and my files have been marked with them that guy you suggested - thanks):

    on my MicroSD card, the songs were in the my_music folder. He had a bunch of default directories. I took them out of there and then delete all of the directories on the map. When I plugged the card, he gave me a folder of MUSIC, which had PODCASTS and AUDIO books under it. I put all the songs in the MUSIC folder and after that it was regenerated, it works fine now. Man I love the Clip +.

    BTW, I also moved my podcasts and audiobooks to the card as well. The clip itself is empty but it has 217 MB taken upwards... which is the amount of space occupies the firmware?

  • Audio books play in the right order

    I have a laptop with Windows 7, but if I try to read an audio book, he will play, but in the wrong order.  The only way I can listen to it is to highlight every piece he plays, but it's not ideal.  They play fine on a regular CD player. Any ideas?

    Hi Louise - Welcome to the community...

    I expect what you're saying the disc you are playing has the data files on it (no audio) and they are probably classified in a way that should reorganize to WMP.

    If you open the cd in the computer - cd/dvd drive what information see you here on the content of the disc? It may be better to download the files from the drive of your pc. and then you can rearrange them if necessary. -R.

  • Play sounds in the order using MediaPlayer

    Hello. How to play sounds in order?

    For now, here are my code.

    I have a MediaPlayer component as an attached object

    http://developer.BlackBerry.com/native/reference/Cascades/bb__multimedia__mediaplayer.html

    attachedObjects :[
        MediaPlayer{
           id: sound
           sourceUrl: "asset:///sounds/sound1.mp3"
        }
    ]

    Then I have a button. Here is what my code for it

    Button{
       id: play
       text: "Play Sequence"

       onClicked :{

          sound.sourceUrl = "asset:///sounds/sound1.mp3"
          sound.play();
          sound.sourceUrl = "asset:///sounds/sound2.mp3"
          sound.play();
          sound.sourceUrl = "asset:///sounds/sound3.mp3"
          sound.play();

       }
    }

    What goes wrong.

    The code runs after 1 second about, cut the next sound. I'm doing his next game, after the end of his previous.

    The sounds are not finished because play() is not a call blocking. Once you call the play() function it will start playing the sound and return immediately to the following line of code in the QML. If the next line is a call to the play() still it will have precedence over previous sound, i.e. If you think logically about what you need in an application, you would not have the sound of a doorbell 2 seconds later, play just because you play already a sound, you would stop, as it does.

    My suggestion to use a selection intended to use the MediaPlayer playlist function, that you implemented will obviously suffer from the same problem for the above reason. A playlist is a separate file that contains a list of media you want to play and can be in different formats.

    My other suggestion of using onPlaybackCompleted does not seem to have been followed by you, but is probably the easiest to implement.

    MediaPlayer {
        id: mediaPlayer

        onPlaybackCompleted: {        count = count + 1;
            var s = count;
            mediaPlayer.setSourceUrl("asset:///sounds/sound" + s + ".mp3");
            mediaPlayer.play();
        }

    }

    Where count is a comprehensive, defined property to 1 in your QML file and you have some relaxation (onCreationCompleted or clicking a button) to start the first play().

  • Playing songs in alphabetical order on ipad

    See that this has been asked before. Tried the solution and all OK! Before the update of ios 10 I could play songs from A to Z by title - no need for playlists - just tap on the first song on the list and let the songs to play. How I make it work with latest download?

    Sterling R shared the answer on a post above:

  • Play Clips in reverse order

    I have clips A, B, C say for example. However I want to play back, which means C, B, A. I don't want to just reverse playback clips. I want to completely mirror clips A, B, C to play C, B, A.

    Do I have to copy and to merge all the clips as one can to reverse the trend? I appreciate the help advance. Thank you.

    NEST A, B and C in a nest. Then the reverse playback.

  • Need help to play 2 SWFs in order

    I have two SWF files I want to play in sequence, using a third of SWF (that has nothing outside of this code). It must be simple – play the first, wait for his screenplay to the end, and then play the second. Problem is I can't get the timeline to wait.

    To load the first movie in frame 1, I have this, which works:

    this.createEmptyMovieClip ("mcHolder", 1);
    var oListener:Object = new Object();
    var mclLoader:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader();
    mclLoader.loadClip ("first movie.swf", mcHolder);
    mclLoader.addListener (oListener);

    10 frame, I would like to unload the first, then load the second. This happens, but without waiting. Here's what I have so far:

    Stop();

    If (_level1.currentFrame == _level1.totalFrames) {}
    first film of unloading
    mclLoader.unloadClip (mcHolder);

    now load the next film
    this.createEmptyMovieClip ("mcHolder2", 1);
    var oListener2:Object = new Object();
    var mclLoader2:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader();
    mclLoader2.loadClip ("second movie.swf", mcHolder2);
    mclLoader2.addListener (oListener2);

    }

    I guess there is something wrong with my if statement, but what?

    It is not necessary to unload IF you load into the same target movieclip or same level. I load in the same level (_level1).

  • Change the order of Podcast episodes

    Hello. I wish I had my eps podcast playing high down, as right now the ep albums is number 67 but I would so he could play at the 1 and keep going down. Is there a way to do this? I went to iTunes, click on the tab release date for the podcast and it reversed, then I synced and then ejected, but when I open it in my classic ipod, they always start at 67. I don't know what else to do. Thank you.

    Unfortunately, the only way to play the classic Podcast episodes in the correct order is to put them in a playlist in the order you want them to play. (I know, why anyone would design a menu that time dated material only in reverse-date order?) He has no sense!)

    • These are audio podcasts, you should be able to create a playlist on your iPod On-The-Go and use this selection.
    • Videos must put in a playlist in iTunes and then sync them to your iPod. They can then be played as videos on the classic, navigating in the Main Menu for Playlists of videos and Video or the video playlists section.
    • If you put videos in a playlist On-The-Go , they will play only the audio.
    • If you play a video, listed as part of an audio Playlist, then once again, it will play only audio content.
    • If an audio Playlist contains videos, videos only also appear in the playlists video positions and play as a video.

    Complicated, huh?

  • IPod plays the tracks out of order

    Hello! I use IPod for the first time, I put manually audiotracks using iTunes but it will not play in the order I put them. IPod is not defined on the random mode. Can you help me? Thank you

    Here's my playlist and you can see in the picture he's started playing from 15 Minute drama: A Small Town Murder':

    The little chevron at the top of the left column of numbers shows you the reverse order. If you really want the order shown, right-click on the name of the playlist in the sidebar, click on copy to play order in the context menu, then click the chevron to reverse the list in ascending order. Otherwise, just click the chevron and begin to organize the elements in any order you want. Then synchronize. Your list should now play in the right order on the device.

  • Why my any CD not play not back in the right order?

    I have a CD very good test of Alan Parsons and Stephen Court called "Sound Check 2. I wanted a digital copy to back up my CD.

    I have set iTunes to import the CD using Apple Lossless and Gracenote found all this info to track for me. I used my 1.83 Ghz Core Duo Macbook Pro to import from my recent iMac doesn't have a disc. The MBP running the final version of Snow Leopard, as well as some version of iTunes that supported.

    Import took place without a hitch, but when I tried to play the tracks in good condition, it jumps around in the album. I tried the remedies "from the Album", played with crossfade, nothing is done. The nature of this CD its extremely important to play in the right order, as each track leads to another by a reading of the word of the next title at the end of the previous track.

    What can I do to ensure that it renders properly? Also, is there some kind of sort order, I can add to track data that will ensure that these tracks are in the right order if I decide to put them on a stick for my cars?

    You have shuffle turned on by accident? May seem like an easy solution, but a lot of people miss it.

  • Files NO LONGER play in the order: the two album songs AND Overdrive WMA Audiobook

    I have an old clip 2 GB and HAVE BEEN very happy with it.  Until recently, he was well behaved.  I have never sought or used shuffle and happily play my 'albums' (including books, audio, of course) in the order they came.

    A few months ago, my audio books (Overdrive) downloads were not play tracks in the order LONGER.  Then, I checked and found that my music albums were also playing their pieces in a random-like order.  So I guess that the Overdrive and its software is not the culprit - the problem is in my Clip.

    My video was blank (parameters had never tampered with) last week, I downloaded the latest firmware Sansa (1.01.35 as) dated 03/15/10, but that makes no difference to the nasty problem.

    Today, I reformatted (that hurt, lose all the music and books that I got in there), but reloading a known album the video is STILL to play the tracks on the album in an odd order.

    Nothing works.

    What needs to be done?

    Any help is received with gratitude!

    James,

    Thanks for your suggestion of "reset".  This caused my pieces of music to play in the original order once again!

    Now it's on to download a book from Overdrive and see how it works.

    I'll make the time where I tested it.
