Hello

This isn't false or any form of malware. This is part of Windows Genuine Advantage, a program by Microsoft to prevent piracy of Windows and bring benefits to those who use properly licensed copies of Windows.

To make it disappear, click it and follow the instructions to validate Windows.

I ran Windows 7 for 2 years without any problem. I have upgraded to Windows 10 but he could not recognize my CD/DVD burner, so I started Windows 7. Now, after about 6 weeks, I am told that my copy of Windows 7 is not genuine. Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks to everyone who responded with helpful advice. I finally solved myself by going back to the shop that originally installed Win7 on my computer. They have removed the "non-genuine" copy that I had run without problem for 2 years and installed a copy of 'authentic '.

    Thanks again.

Your windows is only valid on the computer, it was originally installed on. It cannot be transferred.
You can buy a full windows installation on your motherboard retail retail.
    EDIT: added more information.

) SLP OEM: this key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)

    Original title: Vista Activation issue

After 4 years of use my computer without any problems at all, I get a message saying that my copy of Windows Vista is NOT activated.

Of course, he was and has been deleted now tile view! I made no changes to anything on the computer, so I did a little research

and found that it could be a virus trying to get 'paid' for a new activation code. I did a complete reinstall of Vista to remove

such viruses or errors and it still say my copy of Vista is not activated. When I try to follow the steps to activate Vista,

I got nowhere! Everything I've read say s do the activation of the phone, but my computer doesn't give me the option of phone!

It gives me only 3 options - "Buy a new online product key", "Enter a different product key", "Contact Hewllet Packard to help solve this problem."

I called HP and of course my warranty has expired and they even want to talk to me about $100! I'm going crazy trying to figure this out! Help someone?

Thanks for the reply, but I tried ALL the links you've posted over and over again until I've already posted my question here! The links you suggested sent me round in circles! They say all "choose the Activate by phone option" but I was not getting the phone option on my computer for some reason any.

I have corrected the problem and HERE IS HOW - 1-800-Microsoft

It was as simple as that! Now, if only they post this number somewhere here on the site it might save people hours or days of research! After calling the number, work your way through the automated system until you get a man! The guys at Microsoft that answered the phone was great and had activated me and up and running in minutes!

Windows Vista genuine - WGA false positive

Well well, Hello. I bought a HP laptop with Windows Vista, about 4 years ago and recently the "not a copy genuine' warnings began, he told me to validate my Windows I had put in the code I can find in a sticker below my laptop and the problem is that the sticker is there, but the laptop is 4 years old and most of the towers it , so the code and most of the things written in the sticker is worn. I can't get the validation code and I would like to know what I can do to validate my windows or get rid of these annoying warnings that will let me set up a wallpaper, which is the most annoying part. Thank you.

  • MS thinks that my version of Windows 7 is not genuine

    Hello - two questions:

    Question n ° 1

I use an old computer that came preloaded with Windows (don't remember version).  At one point, I had a problem and by the contract of service, that I bought, a tech person came to do a fresh install of Windows on my computer.  He installed Windows 7 Pro 64 (only gives me a key code) and my problem was solved. Except that, since then, whenever I boot, I get an error message indicating that my version of Windows is not genuine.  I close the window and go on w / my work.

So far, I want to buy and install Windows 10.

From my research, MS recommends upgrade Windows 7 to the latest version before you install Windows 10, but of course I can't do that, since MS reads my Windows 7 as not being not not authentic.

    Question n ° 2

I would buy Windows 10 and be able to install it not only on my 'old' office, but also on many laptops, we have at home.  I know that the office is sold on a 'per computer' basis, but is this also the case with Windows 10?  In other words, if I buy the product (on the media, not through download), I'll be able to do an installation of several computer?  These laptops are now running Windows 7.

A big thank you to all who can offer help.

    God bless you!

    ~ Anais

It's unfortunate, but it seems you missed the bus. Until the end of July 2016 you could buy a copy of Windows 10 to replace the non-genuine version on your desktop. You could have improved your other PCs for free. This offer has now expired, and you need to buy a copy for each PC. Because Windows 7 is fully supported until January 2020, you might consider to leave things as they are. Windows 7 is a very good and stable operating system.

In the future, make sure you get a valid product key when getting a new product installed. It is not acceptable to tolerate the persistent error messages.

  • Copy of Windows 7 is not genuine?

I bought a used laptop from HP 6530 work b before they closed our factory in January 2013.  They cleaned the hard drive and installed what I thought was an honest and active Windows 7 OS on it.  I have not used the laptop in a few months and I now have a "Windows 7 Build 7600 this copy of Windows is not genuine" error message when if starts.  Perhaps they installed a trial of 90 days?  Please see the bulletin MGADiag details below.    If I purchase a new license, it will be considered an upgrade since the original machine was XP or Vista on it, and it's tough to read the label of product on the lower part of the laptop?   Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.    Diagnostic report (1.9.0019.0):-given WGA--> Validation status: Invalid Code of Validation of license: 50 Cached Validation Code: n/a, hr = 0xc004f012 Windows product key: *-* - 788W3 - H689G-6P6GT Windows Product Key hash: yr8OHoeXhbT4dc6MxGYjdAStSPY = Windows product ID: 00371-OEM-8992671-00008 Windows product ID Type: 2 Windows license Type: OEM SLP Windows OS version: 6.1.7600.2.00010100.0.0.048 ID: {63649462-5E5B-44FF-A3BE-9063D686CD40} (1) is Admin : Yes TestCab: 0x0 WGA Version: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 signed by: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 Product Name: Windows 7 Professional Architecture: 0x00000000 Build lab: 7600.win7_gdr.130318 - 1532 TTS Error: Validation diagnostic: resolution state: n/a WgaER data--> ThreatID (s): n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 Version: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 WGA Notifications data--> cached result : n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 file exists: No. Version: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 WgaTray.exe signed by: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 WgaLogon.dll signed by: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 OGA Notifications data--> cached result: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 Version: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 OGAExec.exe signed by: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 OGAAddin.dll signed by : n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 OGA data--> Office status: 109 N/A OGA Version: n/a, 0 x 80070002 signed by: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 Office Diagnostics: data 025D1FF3-364-80041010_025D1FF3-229-80041010_025D1FF3-230-1_025D1FF3-517-80040154_025D1FF3-237-80040154_025D1FF3-238-2_025D1FF3-244-80070002_025D1FF3-258-3 browser--> Proxy settings: n/a User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Win32) default browser: C:\Program Explorer\iexplore.exe may download signed ActiveX controls: fast download unsigned ActiveX controls: disabled run ActiveX controls and plug-ins: allows you to initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe: disabled allow scripting of Internet Explorer Webbrowser control: disabled Active scripting: allowed ActiveX controls recognized safe for scripting : allowed File Scan data--> data--> Office details: {63649462-5E5B-44FF-A3BE-9063D686CD40}1.9.0019.06.1.7600.2.00010100.0.0.048x 32*-*-*-*-6P6GT2S-1-5-21-3266246578-3589212072-3359137686Hewlett-PackardHP Compaq 6530 b (KR982UA #ABA)Hewlett-Packard68PDD worm00371-OEM-8992671-00008. Original title: my copy of Vista has just decided that it is more authentic and does not accept my product key. Why?

Can you re - activate my product key or simply give me a product that works properly & constantly?

If you mean that you can not activate automatically, try to do it manually:

To activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain the situation, but it's the same PC and only installed on this PC.  They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista.
