Pop-up... Microsoft JScript Compilation error expected '; '.

I get the previous pop up frequently, especially after my computer has been idle for a while.  I am running Windows 7, Office (home Ed) 2007 and IE 8, although I'm not sure that it is specifically related to IE.  I also received the error above when running Vista and earlier version of Office.  Nobody knows what it means, and more important again, what should I do to make it disappear?  Thank you.

Hi Ron.6230,

·          After installing Windows 7, when exactly you get this message pop up?

·          You did it of any material changes or software on the computer before this problem?

Perform the check and the clean boot if you receive messages pop up. Clean boot will start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs and helps eliminate software conflicts.

The following link has steps showing how to perform the clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

(1) perform the clean boot (check the link to perform the clean boot).

(2) enable half the services.

(3) determine if the problem comes back.

(4) enable half of the startup items.

(5) determine if the problem comes back.

(6) repeat the steps above until you find out which program or service is causing the issue

Note: Please make sure that the computer is configured to start as usual according to step 7 of the article: how to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

    Hello

You can put your system to boot in order to check the issue.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. This article describes how to solve problems in Windows Vista or Windows 7 by performing a clean boot.

  • Microsoft JScript runtime error with twisty2a.js in RoboHelp 10

In my 9 WebHelp Pro RoboHelp project, the twisty2a.js ran perfectly to show all / hide all. The script is located in the root folder, as well as all show and hide all buttons.

In the last few weeks, I've had my computer replaced and I upgraded to 10 of RoboHelp. I am now running Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 with a 64-bit operating system and IE 9.0.8112.16421.

A few days ago, I opened the project RH9 RH10 in. The conversion seems to go smoothly, with the exception of some strange formatting in my paintings.

Today, I noticed that display help works, but that you're ever hide everything.

I tried to open twisty2a.js, which has been configured to use the button ShowHide One method, to check that it is still correct. When I try to open it in RH10, I get a Windows Script Host error:

Line 58, Char 1, "navigator" is underined, 800A 1391, Microsoft JScript runtime error

Anyone know if there is a problem with the script, or if it can be a problem of Windows configuration with my new system of RoboHelp?

Thanks as always for all help

I think the problem may relate to the "Determine the browser" section in the script (I tried to insert a PNG image, but got an error message ).

I get this error at startup on my laptop running Win 7. I have just respond ok and continue to work. How do I cure this?

    Hello

Have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

A runtime error is a software or hardware problem that prevents a program to function properly. Runtime errors could cause you to lose information in the file that you are using, causing errors in the file (corrupt the file) so that you cannot work with it, or prevent you from using a feature. Unlike stop errors, errors lead usually Windows or a program to stop working.

    See the following Microsoft article.

What is a runtime error? http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/what-is-a-runtime-error

I suggest you perform a clean boot and check if it helps.

Clean boot will check if any third-party application is causing the problem, as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: once the diagnosis has been made, make sure that you reset the computer as usual.

  • Microsoft JScript errors...

I'm a newbie in the world of computing in general.  I'm a delay in the start of life for things that seem simple to others is quite complicated for me.  I have an Acer laptop which is is already equipped with Windows Vista Home Basic Edition.  I've learned to almost everything I know through trial and error.  While I was faced with most things worked very well (so far).  I was able to download programs such as Itunes, games, etc..  At one point, I was told to download Javascript.  I followed the links provided to download Javascript and everything seemed to work very well.  However, I sometimes get a little Popup that says in the top border 'Microsoft Jscript compilation error' and in the body of the window is that the word "should" and the option to click OK at the bottom. When I click OK, the window disappears a unique moment, but reappears again. I click OK a second time and the window does not reappear.  Now maybe this isn't a problem deal, but it's perhaps... I tried looking up information on the Web JavaScript sites, but I get more confused.  Please help me.  I paid a lot for my laptop as well as the service provider I use.  I can't afford to let a mistake go there may break my computer.  Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello mslinda-tx,.

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Community Forum.

JScript errors can be the result of improper installation of the Java software. Where did you get the download? Do you still have the web address?  Knowing this will greatly help in the troubleshooting process.  First let's get rid of the bad installation.

    Click on 'start '.
In the field of research at the bottom, type in "programs and features".
at the top of the menu that a program of the same name appears, click on this
This will show you what you have installed programs
Find that say Java or JRE and click on it once to highlight, then click on uninstall at the top of the window.
and then try to navigate to these sites and see if you still get the error or are asked to install again.
Internet Explorer has a capacity of java, and you won't have the other stable to navigate to sites causing the error message.
    Please respond with results

    Thank you
    Jonathan

  • Compiler error InstanceCount throw

    Hello

We are trying to use a simple example of 'InstanceCount' and 'InstanceCountIf' OPM.

We have an entity called 'the citizen' under 'global' and a child entity "child" under the umbrella "citizen."
We named the relationship between "citizen" and "child" as "children".

We have prepared the following rules:

    1. the number of children for the citizen = InstanceCount (children)

    2. the number of children included for the citizen = InstanceCountIf (children, the child is included in the plan)

There is a separate rule that derives from the value of the Boolean variable "the child is included in the plan" and this rule has compiled with success.

On the compilation rules 1 or 2, we get the following compilation error:
Expected: Unable to find a relationship of belonging to the entity "the citizen".

Please tell us how to defeat compiler error above.

    Thank you
    Swati

    Hi Swati,

If you are unsure that you have set up the relationship properly using the "children" link text, the only other thing, it is likely to be is that you have not stated "the number of children for the citizen" and "the number of children included for the citizen" as variable numbers. The text equivalent of InstanceCount () is the number of (), so if you have not stated your variables first so this is how the OPM will try to interpret your rule (such as the wording matches).

  • error: expected expression

    Hello, Hello,

I ave a project that compiles fine on a 1 sytem, but when compiled on a second, I get the following errors:

    AutoRestart.c - 4 errors
    54, 9 error: expected expression
Both use the ICB 2015 the .prj and the .cws are under subversion as well as code, so everything should be the same.

The line that causes the error is:

    OutputLogMsg ("some dumb text.");

    Which has the following definition:

#define OutputLogMsg (fmt,...) _OutputLogMsg (__LINE__, ESF, __func__, __VA_ARGS__)
    extern void _OutputLogMsg (const char * function, const int line, const char * fmt,...) __attribute__ ((__format__ (__printf__, 3, 0)));

Now, I repeat that this compiles fine on my system, but not on my colleague (I don't have access to the sound system).

HA, apparently they used CVI2013 instead of 2015, and he did not like the variadique macro, so I added a # and it compiles on both now. Ship it!

  • LabVIEW FPGA CLIP node compilation error

    Hello NO,.

I work on an application for my Single-Board RIO (sbRIO-9601) and faced with a compile error when I try to compile my FPGA personality via the ELEMENT node.  I have two .vhd files that I declare in my .xml file and all at this point works great.  I add the IP-level component to my project and then drag it to the VI I created under my FPGA.

Within the FPGA personality, I essentially have to add some constants on the indicators and entries CLIP to my CLIP out and attempt to save/compile.  With this simple configuration, I met a compilation error (ERROR: MapLib:820 - symbol LUT4... see report filling for details on which signals were cut).  If I go back to my VI and delete indicators on the output (making the output pin of the CLIP connected to nothing), compiles fine.

I've included screenshots, VHDL and LV project files.  What could be causing an indicator of the output of my VI to force compilation errors?

Otherwise that it is attached to the output ELEMENT, a successful compilation...

After that the output indicator comes with CLIP, compilation to fail...

    NEITHER sbRIO-9601
    LabVIEW 8.6.0
    LabVIEW FPGA
    Windows XP (32-bit, English)
No conflicting background process (not Google desktop, etc.).

Usually a "trimming" error gives to think that there are a few missing IP.  Often, a CLIP source file is missing or the path specified in the XML file is incorrect.

In your case I believe that there is an error in the XML declaration:

      1.0
      RandomNumberGenerator

        urng_n11213_w36dp_t4_p89.vhd
        fifo2.vhd

This indicates LV FPGA to expect a higher level entity called "RandomNumberGenerator" defined in one of two VHDL files.  However, I couldn't see this entity in one of two files.  If urng_n11213_w36dp_t4_p89 is the top-level entity, edit the XML to instead set the HDLName tag as follows:

    urng_n11213_w36dp_t4_p89

Also - in your XML, you set the 'oBits' music VIDEO for output as a U32, however the VHDL port is defined as a vector of bits 89:

    oBits: out std_logic_vector (89-1 downto 0)

These definitions must match and the maximum size of the vector CLIP IO is 32, so you have to break your oBits in three exits U32 output.  I have added the ports and changed your logic of assignment as follows:

    oBits1(31 downto 0)<= srcs(31="" downto="">
    oBits2(31 downto 0)<= srcs(63="" downto="">
    oBits3(31 downto 0)<= "0000000"="" &="" srcs(88="" downto="">

Both of these changes resulted in a successful compilation.

Note: The only compiler errors when you add the flag because otherwise your CUTTING code is optimized design.  If the IP is instantiated in a design, but nothing is connected to its output, it consumes all logic?  Most of the time the FPGA compiler is smart enough to get it out.
