• Some pop-up windows is displayed is not under IE

  Hi all
  I am a user of RoboInfo worm. 6 and I currently encounter some difficulties to get all popups of information to display. I use Robo to create a site with a manual of procedure for my Department and have a lot of screenshots for information purposes. We have recently (during the month of June) upgraded to XP Service Pack 2 and it seems that since then SOME pop-up windows does not display of all after clicking on the link. It seems that only the .htm files newer that I created have this problem and if I discover the .htm directly from the project folder files locally popups work fine. Also, popups display properly through the preview in Robo option. I guess that the problem must be with Internet Explorer. The error message states: "problems with this Web page might prevent it display properly...". "Under the details section it shows the line: 1348, Char: 2, error: access denied., Code: 0, URL:... Any info anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

  Try this:
  (1) from the view of the project manager creates a new topic.
  (2) deletes all the text of the new section.
  (3) Insert your image in the section
  Amendment 4) to display the table of contents - DO NOT ADD THE NEW PAGE to THE table of contents
  (5) subject to 'parent' display, your table of contents, to create the link in
  (6) create your popup, either text or an image, by selecting and clicking Insert > Popup

  In the Popup window, go down to 'Select destination (file or URL)' and navigate to where you see the topic you created above.

  Click the topic in the list and see your preview image in the right pane.

  Select the desired Options in "hyperlink" (how/where to view it).

  Click the OK button.

  Save and build your project.

  Test project generated to see if the "popup" works now.

  I've seen on other sites, a way to click on a link and what appears to be a pop-up window is displayed. At the same time it gray web pages behind it. I have a client who wants to do that on their site. Can someone tell me please in the right direction to reproduce this?

  I think you could talk about the so-called "Thickbox" or "Lightbox". It uses Javascript view an image and can be put in place enough straighforwardly.

• Keep VI running when the display of pop-up window

  Hello

  I put a button in my program when I click on it and the meesage text appears.

  But when the window opens, the main VI will freeze until I click the OK button on the pop-up window.

  (in the example downloaded, click on the OK button, number will stop adding until I click the OK button on the pop-up window).

  Is it possible to keep the vi running when the display of the popup window?

  With my Test.vi I start a Subvi (Test1.vi). These two screws are set below. When you press the Start in Test.vi button a popup window is started via

  What you do doesn't make too much sense. You do a lot of programmatic errors. You should learn how to properly use the Structures of the event (through the Core 1 and 2 training materials). You should put controls (action buttons, control Boolean OK) associated with a case of event in the event company. Moreover, the reason why your grip VI: in your Subvi you close the front panel of your VI via the property node, but it will still be running, you do not set a mechanism to stop the VI.

  

  Did you watch a few appropriate screws coming with LabVIEW examples? Go to file--> new...--> a UI event handler. Open it and watch how it works...

  Please can someone explain how to have a pop up appear as soon as you enter my website. So I need a little announcement to play when you land at the start of my site - so the video I see of "Lynda.com" is not what I am after forcing you to click on a link in the site. Mine needs to be there as soon as you land on my page with the option to close... Is this possible? If so, how would you please... Thank you in advance.

  You can expand the area of relaxation on the page and set the game slowing, so when the user loads the site and hover the mouse over the page, pop up appears.

  Also if you turn on autoplay, then loading the site itself the pop-up will be displayed on the screen, then you can configure on deployment of the shutter-click and place it behind any object of the page where users will not click.

  As there is no direct widget, this workaround works.

  But please feel free to add your own personalization, where you can insert a context menu using html or JavaScript.

• Opening of session of Sierra produced several pop-up windows

  

  Since the upgrade to Sierra a series of pop-up windows appears right after the desktop appears.  One is a settings dialog box "analysis of the PC" apparently linked to the Canon MX920 we use, even if the printer/Scanner sharing is disabled in system preferences.

  A second pop-up window is an error Java SDK chronic also appeared after the initial upgrade of El Capitan.  This popup is displayed regardless of the question of whether Java is updated to the latest rev, or once the Pref window disappears completely in the system preferences panel.

  The windows popup to third and following related to the parameters of the firewall for "openinfo" network connections, "openexec" and "openbase.  These popups appear even if the settings of the firewall have been set to 'Allow' or 'Block' inbound network traffic for each of them... and for "openbase" even once the OpenBase Pref Pane has been removed from the System Prefs.  In addition, they appear even after the firewall has been disabled.

  The next update of Sierra should address these errors as soon as POSSIBLE or we will return to Yosemite.

  Changing the settings of firewall to block all incoming connections eliminates the popups mentioned in the third paragraph above.

  The "Scan of the PC Settings" and the Java SDK error dialog boxes always appear after the successful logon.  Running MalwareBytes and ClamXav do not eliminate these pop-up windows.

  Recently, my brother was received by an irritating contextual advertising on his Mac. I guided through the steps to remove, so I'll repeat it here.

  If these ads appear, DO NOT give type of important information about your Apple ID, credit cards, etc. If an ad does not close, it's almost certainly a scam after your money.

  To get rid of adware, begin by closing pop-ups that are open. If a window pop up on your Mac includes a checkbox "don't show alerts more since this Web page", check the box before you close the pop-up window. If a window closes (like in the case of my brother) close Safari on

  your Mac.

  Restart the web browser on your Mac that you hold down the SHIFT key. This prevents the reopening Safari automatically all the windows.

  Then, choose Preferences from the Safari menu, and then follow these steps:

  • Click on the security icon, and select "Block pop-up windows" to stop certain types of pop-ups.
  • Check the settings of your homepage and search engine. Sometimes adware changes these settings.
  • Click the general icon and make sure the homepage field is empty or contains the Web site you want.
  • Click on the search icon and make sure that the setting of search engine displays your favorite search engine. In some versions of Safari, this parameter is in the general pane.

  If you still have problems, or just want to check your Mac occasionally for adware - download app in sandbox "Dr. Safetry" in the App Store. It's free for domestic use clean adware, in addition to malware including trojans.

  I use Firefox on a Mac for many years and have been happy with it. I have recently went to a different trading called Trademonster.com platform and will have problems with its operation. When I call Trademonster, they told me that my Firefox must allow popup windows to operate. I notice that when I connect Trademonster on Firefox, it says «...» Firefox has prevented pop-up windows - 2 opening up." I spent under Security entered trademonster.com as site access and preferences, but I still get the signal that Firefox prevents pop-up windows from coming on the trading platform.

• The Web site address does not appear on the pop-up window

  I am running Firefox 19.0.2 on a Win 7 64 bit PC version and have noticed that on the pop-up windows, when the address bar is present, I get the message "go to a Web Site" on it rather than the address of the Web site. If I click with the right button on the icon of the little world on the address bar and choose Customize and then close this window without making any changes, the address of the site is full. Does anyone know how to get the address of the site to automatically display on the popup? My PC Win XP Pro is not this problem and popups always display the address of the Web site without having to do anything.

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  It is only a problem for the SiteAdvisor users who are still on 3.4. This problem is resolved in the latest version of SiteAdvisor, which is 3.4.1.195. Go to http://siteadvisor.com and click on download. This will fix the problem.

  Meanwhile, SiteAdvisor team will push down a JS update in the coming days 1-2 to automatically resolve this problem in version 3.4.

  • Double-click the elements which show the value 'false' to change to 'true' (user set / "BOLD").
