  I have an IdeaPad p580 and I noticed that a few basic functionality of windows are not available. I use Windows 7 Home premium SP1 and everything else is usually straight out of the box. I guess these are the basic features of windows because I learn about them in an intro to the class of Windows operating system.

  Make a check of malware with some scan of malware programs. You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database prior to scanning.

  Using Windows XP. I'm on a website http://www.mva.maryland.gov/ and tried to renew my car registration. I entered credit card information and then came to the last page where it says "select the documents you want to print." I chose the two documents by clicking on "Print all documents." Then a little pop up window appears, but the document does not print automatically. Print preview is just a blank page. I disabled "pop-ups block." I think that I have already fact and because the documents does not print, transaction didn't pass and my daughter got a ticket for expired tags. Any suggestions?

  Unfortunately, sites don't are not always updated in time for the new browser versions, and old code makes stupid assumptions about new versions. If it is a site that you use frequently, then you might fall back to 3.6, but otherwise, I hope that the State will get its act together by the next time you need to use it.

  I create a demonstration of the software using screenshots and leading edge.  There are pop-up windows in this product when the user places the mouse over a row of data and a popup appears at the mouse position with more information on these data.  I used

  and it works fine until I set stage for 'sensitive' or I scroll to the bottom of the page to access the data rows.  When this happens, the popup appears in the distance of the mouse.

  I'm not a coder strong, but anyone know how I can get on board an animation to recognize the true position of the mouse on the screen and then specify the popup to appear there?

  I'm generating printed documents of the chapters in my help file containing windows pop up. When I check the documentation printed, it contains only the questions listed in the table of contents - none of the popups were included.
  
  The particular section that I print, contains images of forms. I set each of the fields in the picture as hotspots using RoboHelp ' Shack', so that when the user clicks on a field, its description appears on the screen as a popup.
  
  I tried searching the site of Peter Grainge to see if he had any information on how to get them in the printed documentation, but unfortunately our firewall blocks scripts that are running on its site.
  
  I use RoboHelp Office X 5 version 5.0.1 MS Office 2000 SP 3 and the main layout is in 2000 of Winhelp.
  
  Any help that can be provided would be appreciated.

  The default page when you first go in there is the table of contents for the online help. Nothing prevents you to add other topics that pop-up ads are served well.

• AutoPlay pop-up window does not appear

  I use Windows xp, when I put a CD in the CD player, the popup window that asks you what you want to do does not appear.  I have to go to calculate, click dvd/cd icon and put up the file and then click Run or install until the player will install the data. I tried setting autoplay to mixed content but it keep coming back to the music.  This is after making the selection and clicking on apply.  Tried to go in the cmd and that no longer works. What is the answer?

  Checked other messages and came across a say to download and run Autoplay Repair Wizard.  Done that and now the computer reconizes the drive CD and need began installing the game.  Problem solved.

  I downloaded the autoplay Repair Wizard, now when I put a cd in the drive, it starts automatically install, the pop-up window doesn't show up, but that's ok. Thank you

  Here are a few steps more you can follow:

  Step 1:

  I suggest you to activate the built Admin account.

  (a) press Windows and x key together on your desktop screen.
  (b) click on prompt (admin).
  (c) type: net user administrator /active: Yes

  Note: Follow the same steps and type net user administrator /active: no to disable the administrator account after the diagnosis is made

  After activating the administrator built-in, please try the steps below:

  Step 2:

  The built in Administrator account to create a new user account and transfer the profile data.

  Please follow the steps below to do so:

  (a) press Windows and x together and select Windows Explorer.

  angle b) click on the tab and click Options at the top right.

  (c) click the View tab, and then click on display the drives, folders and hidden files.

  (d) uncheck the box that says Hide protected operating system files.
  (e) click Yes to confirm, and then click on OK.

  (f) to find the C:\Users\Old_Username folder, where C is the drive on which Windows is installed, and the old username is the name of the profile you want to copy the files.

  (g), select all files and folders in this folder, except the following files:

  Ntuser.dat
  Ntuser.dat.log
  Ntuser.ini

  (h) right click and select copy.

  (i) find the C:\Users\New_Username folder, where C is the drive on which Windows is installed, and the new username is the name of the new user profile you created.

  (j) right click in the folder and select Paste.

  (k) restart your PC and check if the problem persists.
