Popup of Windows activation technologies tells me that my computer is not running genuine windows

Hi, I've been running a genuine copy of Windows 7 Pro for about 3 years. However twice now asked me to download & install the windows genuine advantage tool. When I try to run this software it tells me that it is already installed and stops the installation. The activation problem disappears after this error?

This seems to have started, because the last set of Windows updates have been installed.

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.
-* in your own thread *, please

Please also state the Version and edition of Windows cited on your COA sticker (if you a) in the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but does NOT quote the key on the sticker!

I recently received a message that my computer is not running genuine Windows. The product activation code is now missing from the computer. I had the computer for two years and I'm a product of the case but no way Code to enter as there is no "Acivate Windows option available". In addition, just slui.exe tells me that he didn't and to communicate with the gateway manufacturer. Any suggestions?

Thank you I enjoyed your attention and your support.

I called and Microsoft went through basically the same things that you suggested.

We did a system restore (at an earlier date) and fortunately he fixed itrself. I'm good to go.

    Who knows why it happened.

  • I have Windows 7 genuine, but I get messages saying that this computer is not running genuine Windows

I get the message of Windows Activation technologies "this computer is not running Windows" for the last few days. When I click on 'Set online now' it takes me on the Microsoft site and offers I buy the new sofware. My Windows 7 is genuine and has been installed on my Sony Vaio again, so obviously I don't want to buy it again. After reviewing on community support area, I saw that MGADiag generates a report that could help solve the problem and it is copied below. Any help would be welcome.

  • Windows Activation Technologies, said that this computer is not running Genuine Windows"

Good evening... I have a few question on my Windows operating system.
I have laptop-HP Pavilion DM4-3001tx build with Windows 7 Home Premium (OEM)... At least the year that I use, now I got the message of Windows Activation Technologies because my Windows is not genuine.
    My question is:
Can I do my genuine Windows again (without re - install & buy the genuine copy of Windows). If possible, how?

Sorry, I'm not good in English & please forgive me if my English is too coarse and hard to understand. I thank you for your advice and have a nice day.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?DocName=c03125611&CC=ID&DLC=en&LC=en

    Try the following:

Check your hard drive for errors:

    Click Start

Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD

    Click on "Run as Administrator"

At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r

When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

    also:

    Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any breach of integrity

    Restart your system

    also:

    Credit Noel Paton:

    1) click the Start button.

    (2) type: CMD.exe in the field "search programs and files".

    (3) right click on CMD.exe and select run as administrator

    (4) type: net stop sppsvc (it may ask you if you're sure, select Yes)

Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, that's ok.

    (5) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform

    (6) type: Rename tokens.bar tokens.dat

    (7) type: cd %windir%\system32

    (8) type: net start sppsvc

    (9) type: slui.exe

    (10) after a few seconds of activating Windows dialog box will appear. You may need to reactivate and/or re - enter your product key or Activation can occur automatically.

Run the MGADiag again and post the report

During the validation, use Internet Explorer, not Firefox.

  • Popup "Windows Activation Technologies", saying "this computer is not running genuine Windows". 0x8004fe22 validation error

I haave had this since 2008 HP Pavilion desktop computer.  It came with Win 7 Home installed, and Office Depot had upgraded to Win 7 Pro.  I ran it without any problem of validation for more than three years now.  Tuesday I'll be back for an appointment and the computer went to sleep.  When he woke up normally, I found a 'Windows Activation Technologies' popup saying "this computer is not running genuine Windows".  I tried the link "pay online now", but he ordered me to have to pay for a new facility.  I do not want to do because my Windows has already been purchased and is valid for more than three years.

Then run Windows Genuine Advantage Diagnostic tool and it came true.

I ran full virus and malware scan with Avast Pro and Malwarebytes Pro and a complete diagnosis with Advanced System Care Pro tools that have always kept this system clean and stable.  As expected, no malware, regular maintenance tasks only were delivered.  It's been several days since the last time that I made no change to the system (I upgraded a utility) and the system has been rebooted at least four times after that without problem.  The only other change was an update of Windows.  Interestingly, after that same Windows Update on my machine Vista, it refused to start (BSOD) and I had to go back to a two days old restore point - that fixed it.  I always had a mysterious problem with Win 7 Pro machine that it creates restore points, but I can never find, so I can't have this option on this computer.

I'm trying to start a new business and cannot afford to be without my computer, or do strange things, or buy a new copy of Windows and take the time to restore a careful configuration of three years.  I when I recently bought a new laptop from Office Depot, I also bought a Windows 7 Pro upgrade kit and installed myself.  When I did, I realized that the update CHANGES THE PRODUCT KEY and I knew not when they improved the office... they give me new product key for the Pro upgrade, so all I have is the original OEM key and apparently going to lose my Pro upgrade if I need to reimage from the disks in the system or the OEM partition.  This is not acceptable, either, and I have no idea how to go about face.  The transaction took place three years ago!

Please help; I'm already running on the razor's edge with the launch of this company.  This error is likely to destroy me financially.  I can't do what I need to do on the laptop - it is a low-cost, minimal machine and specifically, has no office and the ability to perform graphics... things cutting-edge software that I need to be able to do.

    Click Start

    in the search box, type

    System restore

    and press the Enter key

Once the system restore is displayed, click Next

Now put a check mark in the box "Show more restore points.

    What points appear now?

If there is a just before your problem, try this.

If this isn't the case - as I say, CANCEL any act performed by ASC and uninstall it.

Then run another MGADiag report and post it.

  • "This computer is not running genuine windows", but it is to show that windows is activated when I press [windows and pause/break] key

    Separated from this thread.

I get the "this computer is not running genuine windows" pop-up, here is my report MGADiag.

  • 'This computer is not running Genuine Windows' notification continues after activation

A few months ago, my PC Windows 7 Professional has started raising the notification "this computer is not running Genuine Windows" with the option "pay online now.
This Genuine Windows warning message a couple of times a day.
I have this PC for 4 years with no problems.
In Control Panel > system, Windows has shown as active.
I also noticed that Windows Update has stopped working.

In my research, I found suggestions about updating the Intel RAID controller drivers, what I did and it fixed the problem Windows Update.
    Genuine Windows warning messages continued.

I was unable to find my original product key Windows sticker/disc for the game at the Windows on the PC product key.
This pop-up became really annoying, I decided to buy a new key using the button «Solve online now»
I placed an order for "product name:" GGOK - Win7 Professional English "and activated Windows with the new product key."

I always get the Genuine Windows warning message popping up every day.

So my question is, how do we stop this message all the time to appear on a Genuine Windows active?

Here are the results of the execution of MCADiag after activation.

I can't see anything in your report to explain your non-genuine message.

I suggest that you look for malware.

I recommend that you run Disk Cleanup or cCleaner to remove temporary files as this will reduce the time to scan security software.

Start the computer in safe mode with network and download and install Malwarebytes (free version for users only - not the trial version), updated definitions and run in normal mode. Disable other security software while you do the analyses.

    Hello

-Have there been recent changes made on the computer before the show?

I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.

Use the automated telephone system to get active Windows.

    1. click on Startand in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    2. press enter on your keyboard.

    3. Select your country.

    4. follow the on-screen instructions and download the active Windows.

If the steps above fails to activate, then the license store may be damaged. Try these steps and check.

    1. click on start and type cmd.exe.
    2. right click on CMD.exe and select "Run as Administrator"
    3. type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you're sure, select Yes)
    4. type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
    5. type: Rename tokens.bar tokens.dat
    6. type: cd %windir%\system32
    7. type in: net start slsvc
    8. type: cscript slmgr.vbs - FLIR (it may take time for this will be complete, please be patient)
    9 restart the computer twice.

    10. you may need to enter you product key and activate it.

If the problem persists, I suggest you to contact Dell as your product key is a key system locked pre-installation.

  • "This computer is not running genuine Windows". 0x8004fe21

    Hello world

Since yesterday, I received the notification of "this computer is not running genuine Windows" dreaded when I actually run windows genuine (OEM on a Lenovo laptop). I did some reading about other people who have had the same problem, but have not been able to find useful solutions.

I have already run "chkdsk /f/r" on C:, and also "sfc/scannow", both in the command prompt high and after reboot, the computer is always give me the WGA notification.

I also run a diagnosis with the MGADiag tool test and here is the log that.

I think the main problem here is the line "manipulated files: % systemroot%\system32\sppcext.dll|sppcext.dll.mui" but I do not know what is the cure for this in addition to a clean install (I prefer not to do that, but in the absence of anything else, I can).

Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

DOH - not enough caffeine when I posted...

That should have read (as you may have guessed correctly)...

I downloaded a file - kjiaa.zip - for my OneDrive to OneDrive Christmas

    Please download and save it.

Right click on the saved file and select extract all...

Change the target in C:\ and click Extract

Close all windows (it would be a good idea to print these instructions!)

Now restart the repair environment - as soon as the machine reboots, start pressing F8 - this should bring up the Advanced Boot Menu, at the top which should be the "Repair my computer" option

    Choose which

You will need to identify yourself with your username and password.

Choose the option of using a command prompt

    At the prompt, type

    DIR C:\kjiaa

Press enter - if you get a "Not found" error test

    DIR D:\kjiaa

    or

    DIR E:\kjiaa

The drive letter currently in use when you find the folder will need to be overridden (for) in the following command...

    XCOPY : \kjiaa : \windows\winsxs/y/i/s/v/h

    (e.g. XCOPY P:\wfire P:\windows\winsxs/y/i/s/v/h)

Run the command (it should take almost no time) and sends it back to the command prompt, type

    OUTPUT

and press the Enter key to quit the command prompt - restart windows in Normal Mode.

Now, run SFC/scannow in a command prompt

Then reboot and download new CBS.log and post a link

Also, start a new report MGADiag and post that.

    Sorry about that!

  • "This computer is not running genuine Windows", but it is

The Windows Activation Technologies message saying "this computer is not running genuine Windows", but it came from a major manufacturer (Dell) with the current operating system (Windows 7 Home Premium) preinstalled. I swap to a new HARD drive, but it was several weeks ago and it only happened in the last days. After that reading other threads here I downloaded and executed MGADiag, here is the result:

  • Help... This computer is not running genuine windows

    Hello

In the last week, I started getting a message "this computer is not running genuine windows. I don't know, but it seems that the problem started after the update. I have owned the computer for a while and bought new from Tiger Direct. When I check the status of my windows software it says active. Help, please.

    Windows 7 Home Premium (x 64) Service Pack 1 (build 7601

Mr Cameron G, a SOLUTION MUCH more SIMPLE: SIX CLICKS AWAY FOR WINDOWS GENUINE

I had exactly the same problem for several weeks until I found the answer here or on the? Help and Support in Windows 7 button start on my (and your) desktop. It is a very SIMPLE FIX and it worked for me, I really hope it works for you.

Left click on the Start button. Type to activate Windows. A list appears at the top of your Start menu. Click on activate Windows. Windows will then "enabled". a pop-up will appear. Left click on it where we can read: "learn more about the benefits of genuine Windows online. This will take you to microsoft.com/en-us/windows/genuine.

Scroll down on this page where you can read, "is your genuine Windows?

Left click where you can read, 'validate now '.

Another Microsoft web page is displayed with instructions.

    It will be this one:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Validation status: Action required

The validation process cannot continue because your web browser may not be configured to run the script required. To continue with the validation, please try the following:

    1. Click on validate now to start the validation process replacement (optimized for browsers unable to perform the initial validation script).
    2. When you are prompted, click Save or run this program from its current location.

It will read 'Validate now' (here on this page in PURPLE LETTERS)

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The instructions on this page that I copied and pasted above will be told "when you are prompted, click Save or run this program from its current location. . But the run option did not have when I clicked on "validate now". I left simply clicked on the option granted to Open.

I was so happy with only SIX LEFT CLICKS, my original 'copy' of Windows 7 that was preinstalled on my (that)! PC has been ACTIVATED and authentic! Because this REALLY, REALLY made me great stress and anxiety, because I can't afford expensive Tech Support or Service of the store, and I use my PC for good more than simple entertainment.

You will be done and your copy of Windows to be "Genuine" and your Activation will be confirmed.

Yet once again, it worked for me, and it seems that it happened after a very bad attack of Mal-ware on my PC. So I advise you to run free online Scanner from Microsoft security, for a thorough search and Mal-ware removal, virus (s), and or spyware.

Best of luck, please BE SURE to let me know if this "fixed" your problem.

Sincerely yours, not a tech, lived but that and much more.

    Jim Colvin
