  I had this problem for quite a long time. Initially, I thought that it was due to an update to Windows XP, but I couldn't find any message on newspapers when the laptop crashes. I reinstalled XP many times to get rid of any incompatibility related to the software, but even with a new installation, it was happening.

  I realized recently after several tests that the problem occurred more frequently when you move the mouse (trackpoint or touchpad) just after the start of the system (cold start or start of hibernation). What I discovered is that this will happen is no longer if I suspend the laptop after starting the system, do not touch the mouse.

  The symptoms are that Windows freezes. No activity at all HD, the system responds to any keyboard and mouse input. If I close the lid of the portable computer system is not put into hibernation.   I have the latest Intel Chipset drivers installed and Windows XP Home SP3 with all updates.

  I don t think that the driver update will help you. The operating system uses the simple common Microsoft USB drivers. I think we should get the problem somewhere else.

  You can try to disable the power save option in-USB hub-> properties > Device Manager. I noticed that if energy saving is enabled on ports USB some external devices could not work with maximum efficiency.
  In addition, you should disconnect other USB devices during the test the USB microphone.
  I think that it of not impossible that some external USB devices might have a negative influence on the use of a USB microphone.

  I tried the multithreading and the solution of PlotStripChart and the two a little help, I still had my main problem, lack of pics.  I was not so concerned with the display of all data in time real, just need something for the user to see what was going on.  The final solution, that I came was to use PlotStripChart and SetSleepPolicy the VAL_SLEEP_NONE value.  This has increased my program for even faster speed that when I moved the mouse.

  You can get in trouble with your mouse device drivers, firmware and/or software.  This may be due to a Microsoft Update or any number of things (and could have happened to these two machines, if you did the same thing in both cases).  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you should get for your mouse at the very least and I consider the keyboard as well and make sure they are compatible with your device, and your version of Vista) and all you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem) leave the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/.   Also, your mouse may have the functionaality to change the font sizes and jump from one end of the screen to another by doing some things.  Read the user manual and/or research through start / Control Panel / mouse to see if this is the case and if so, it may be able to be disabled.  The problem with some of these "features are that if you don't know about them they can cause difficulties when they activate for apparently no cause when you actually not what caused the feature must be enabled." It took me a while to realize the CTRL-0 would change my IE screen at 100% size and I first thought there was something wrong until I discovered the problem by chance.  I say that, because the odds of two computers with the same exact defect are astronomical - it looks more like a problem as described above or a certain type of function you are unaware of (perhaps in combination with a keyboard input that is why I suggested that you update those as well).

  I hope this helps.  If not, I am sorry to say that your best option would be to go back again to see if they can reproduce the problem (you use your way computer in case it is something you do) and either repair or replace again (or change to another computer entirely).

I can manage to start perfectly and I can work without any problem, but if I move the laptop just there seems to be a loss of power (fan is working and screen still shows black and white lines vertical and it sometimes becomes very bright). The CPU seems to also stop, because if I'm music listen to it disappears too.

  I'm pretty sure that this is not a screen problem and it must be powered; I throw overheating, as I can work perfectly for a long time if I move the laptop, but after knocking the laptop intentionally, it crashes.   You've lost me. You try to send a laptop computer VIDEO signal in the monitor through a USB cable? If so, it will not work. USB upstream cable connects from the monitor to the computer to activate the USB ports monitor downstream. To get the video from the laptop to the display, you must connect the VGA, DVI or DP of the monitor cable to the laptop.
