  Of course, I'd appreciate some advice on the treatment of a keyboard device driver error.  Things were fine yesterday, but today, stop the keyboard.   After abandon it and post my request for help, I found the answer.  Search the Web more upturned one clue which led elsewhere... and I found that an update of Threatfire which I run didn't copy a new tfkbmon.sys of keyboard (used to help in the detection of keylogging apparently) driver in the drivers folder.  Things has worked after updating but the restart was the culprit and I forgot the programme asking to install an update earlier.  Downloaded the file from the TF community forum in the drivers folder and everything is now ready to go.  Thank you

  If your computer is originally shipped with Windows preinstalled by HP (as it should) - it would be better to use the HP recovery media that will repair Windows, applications, and all the default partition to factory. It will use the license of your machine for Windows and should automatically active Windows after installation.

  If you are using the 8.1 Windows installation media, you may need a facility to post license Win (depending on the type of used windows).

  -If you want to use the original that are preinstalled windows, you can get a HP recovery media as described above

  -If you are using the 8.1 Windows installation disc and install Windows from using your driver's license, follow these steps:

  1 boot from the Windows DVD
  2. click on install now
  3. in the configuration screen, click Custom (Advanced)
  4. click on Drive Options
  5. Select the partitions to format
  6. click on Format - this will delete EVERYTHING on this partition - format and delete all partitions
  7. create a new partition, and then select a partition to install Windows on.
  8. continue the installation.

  If the Windows installation disc does not work for the above you can do the following to reformat your hard drive:
  1. download a Gparted ISO from here:
  http://gparted.org/LiveCD.php

  2 burn the ISO to a CD or DVD
  2. start from the CD/DVD of Gparted disk.
  3. use Gparted to delete all partitions on the hard disk.
  4. under 'Device' choose Create Partition Table to a new table partition.
  5. create a NTFS partition (or you can wait and create a partition during the installation of Windows).

  Finally, boot from the Windows installation disc and install Windows.

  Hi, the optical drive in my HP Pavilion TouchSmart 23 "does not work correctly. In Device Manager it says that it is the result of the conifguration in the registry being incomplete or damaged (error code 19), but I can't solve the problem. I tried to solve by updates driver and verification for the top and bottom filters using regedit, but none of those who were present. I can't find any other possible solutions anywhere. Thanks for the help.

• Card PCMCIA Avaya on a machine Satellite Pro 4320 - 31 to load the driver error code

  The machine works perfectly in all respects. Recently attempted to add an Avaya Silver wireless card to the system.

  Somehow the system has problems with the supplied driver. I have redownloaded the driver support site (now on version 7.62, the driver should support the card as a "Avaya Wireless PC Card".) I have to the latest driver available.

  Given that the machine works under Windows 2000, SP4 and all available patches, and yet didn't have questions about installing a card like this on a Windows 2000 computer before, I'm a little confused as to what may cause the problem.

  The card is detected properly, and the pilot is recognized. When installed the Device Manager still representing a yellow exclamation mark on the map of Avaya. When investigating this error shows that Windows 2000 cannot load the drivers on an error code 31.

  I found Code 31 made reference to possible support material that gives the questions. I turned my attention to the CardBus controller (ToPIC100 according to Device Manager). The version used is Microsoft, 20/06/2003, 5.00.2195.6717.

  Appearantly it is a newer driver (5.1.2600.0) but I failed to bring one downloaded. Seems that it is only available through Windows Update, which does not show the update as being available for the machine.

  Then... Anyone know how to get the map Avaya Wireless Silver active PCMCIA on a Satellite Pro 4320? I need a newer driver, or can not be done at all?

  Got Windows 7 x 64 bit installed.

  Ethernet controller, network controller, peripheral PCI, PCI Simple Communications Controller, SM Bus controller, Bus controller series universal (USB) and x 2 unknown device (one of whom I assume is the fingerprint reader) all fail with the error code 28.

  The problem, however...

  With the help of other computers and the family, I managed to get the downloaded files specifically driver installation for Windows 7 x 64 bit, moved to a USB key, ran the files on my computer (with nonworking pilots / that responded to the questionnaire), they seemed of ran perfectly fine and appeared to install correctly, but none of the enumerated factors do not always work.

I disconnected and uninstalled all devices on my computer and re installed them also. They work perfectly well. I tried to install manually from the Device Manager, but when I do this it does not appear in the list of drivers. I have been looking for a solution for about a month and have found nothing to help :( I use Windows 7 64-bit. I would be delighted if someone could help me

  Firstly, regarding the disk HARD, your laptop is listed as coming with a 500 GB hard drive, but you can just as easily install a 750 GB HARD drive if you want a little more than space - readers at the following links are examples that would be perfect for your laptop.

  Regarding the reinstallation of the operating system on the new drive, there are two options available.

  Hi all

  I have this error code for all card reading devices Ricoh "insufficient resources".

  Look at one of the devices of connection I have.

  Intel 82801 PCI bridge - 2448 @ F0400000 - F04FFFFF

  and as a subtree, the first camera Ricoh starts with F0400000 - F04007FF

  I thought in uninstalling and reinstalling would get Vista to assign different IO but uninstall the device just gives the BSOD with one of the pilots Ricoh for instance 'rixdptsk.sys '.

  Error code 12:

  This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12)

  Cause:

  This error can occur if two devices that are installed on your computer received the same i/o ports, the same interrupt, or the same Direct memory access channel (whether through BIOS, the operating system, or both). This error message can also appear if the BIOS did not allocate enough resources for the device.

  You can use the Troubleshooting Wizard in Device Manager to determine where the conflict is, and then disable the device in conflict.

  Turn off the device in conflict

  a. in the device properties dialog box, click the general tab.

  b. click troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard. The wizard will ask a few simple questions and provides a solution to your problem, based on the answers you provide.

  c. follow the resolution steps provided by the wizard to resolve the problem.

• WSD Print device driver error prevents the standby machine

  Hi all.  I've been struggling with this problem for a few months, without success.  On my system: Dell PC, Vista 32, SP2, using a Brother MFC 490 all-in-one that is connected to my wireless network.

  My problem is the following: a few months ago I noticed that the Bureau has refused to go to sleep, instead showing a popup that says, "the device driver for the WSD print device prevents the standby machine."  It's embarrassing at the very least, a waste of money and the system of life at worst.

  I tried the following without success: restored the system to a point before the show, updated the wsd, uninstalled/reinstalled the wsd driver driver & peripheral, uninstalled the Brother software (the printer has remained on the system, thanks to the auto detection) and banged my head with great enthusiasm on the keyboard.

  If all goes well, there is a relatively easy fix!  Thanks for your suggestions...

  The error message indicates that there is a problem with the driver and preventing the computer to go to sleep.

  I suggest you uninstall the drivers for the device. Disconnect the connected device and try to load the generic drivers of the printer in the back.

  Also try to restore the driver from Device Manager:

  To roll back a driver in Windows send the driver to the version that was finally installed for the device. Restoring a driver is an easy way to return a driver for a working version when a driver update fails to fix a problem or maybe even a new problem.

  1. open Device Manager. To do this, click Start, type device in the area Manager search and then click on Device Manager in the list programs.

  2 right-click the device for which the previous version of the driver is desired and then click Properties.

  3. click on the tab drivers.

  4. click on Roll Back Driver.
