Have a new laptop with Windows 7, ASUS Intel-i5. Initially, the automatic installation of my Wireless mobile mouse 4000, which I had used with XP, has worked. Only problem was that the mouse was stubborn, when you attempt to left click: i.e. get something - and persistence was needed to get there. Now I can not at all to a left click. Tried all resolution of known issues, left click procedures still dead in the water.

  • Major problems mouse, left click acting as a click right, very annoying!

Hey guys I have a very annoying problem. I read about it online as other people seem to have made the experience, but there is no real definitive answer. On rare occasions, my mouse will be funny. When you press the left button, it will act as the right and the right button will continue to act as the right one. When you go into the settings of the mouse, even if swap you them around her still acts as if there are two right click and left click No button. I tried a number of suggestions elsewhere on the web, including re-starting my pc several times, trying to update windows, turning off the mouse, re - install, using a different mouse etc... No matter what I do, the problem persists.

The only way to get the return to normal of the mouse is either to turn off the pc and leave it a few hours, in which case even sometimes that does not work. The only other time he rectified himself is in itself. Sometimes it will just fix itself without doing you anything for her.

I'll be very grateful for any advice that anyone can give. Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone know anything on this subject? Thank you

  • Microsoft Comfort Mouse 3000 mouse wheel click on the problem

    Hello

I just got this mouse today and really like the shape and the weight of it, however I have a major problem - click wheel mouse only works to a certain (very uncomfortable angle) and even in this case, not all the time. I installed the drivers and all...

.. sure you can not help me with anything whatsoever, so I'm going to exchange it for a different mouse to the store in the next few days, unless the problem disappears

    .. That's all :(

    Hi pas0003,

If it works, try the steps and check them off below.

    (a) check the connection of the mouse. If the mouse is connected via a USB port, make sure that the cable is not loose. Push the USB connector to make sure it is sitting comfortably. If the mouse has an older serial port connection, make sure that the connector has not become loose and check the pins of the serial port for any signs of damage.

    (b) plug the mouse into a different port on the computer and test. The port may be damaged or the computer can recognize is no longer the mouse into this port.

    (c) inspect the cord of the mouse for signs of damage and make sure that the cord has not broken loose from the end of the USB connector or the mouse itself. If the mouse wire has been broken or the wires are are spare at each end, the mouse may need to be replaced.

    (d) clean the mouse. A mouse that uses a ball to track needs frequent cleaning. Unscrew the plastic ring on the underside of the mouse in the direction indicated by the arrows on the mouse. Remove the mouse ball and clean the ball and inside the mouse, paying special attention to the small roller inside the mouse. Use a cotton swab or a clean non fluffy towel and a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Let the parts dry, then reassemble the mouse. It should run more smoothly.

    (e) check the mouse settings. Click on the 'Start' button on the computer, and then click "Control Panel." Depending on the operating system, you may need to click "Settings" first go to the "Control Panel". Click on "mouse". Review the settings on the various tabs to see if changes are needed to solve the problems.

    (f) uninstall all hardware or software newly added. Check the performance of the mouse. If the problem is resolved, there may be a conflict with the mouse and the new program or hardware.

    (g) put end to the program you are working and you restart the computer. If a user clicks on the mouse too many times in quick succession, the memory of the computer may freeze, which in turn freezes the mouse.

    (h) examine the lock button for a mouse integrated on a laptop. If the mouse stops working, we can get key lock, usually located just above the mouse button. Press the button to unlock.

If the previous step fails then you can go ahead and return the mouse to get a new one, as there may be a problem with the mouse itself because it is news.

    I hope this helps!

  • HP wireless optical mouse Mobile

I have a HP Wireless Optical Mobile Mouse I would use with a laptop Sony 2007 which originally ran Vista and now runs Windows 8.1.  I am able to install the driver, but the mouse does not work. Flashing red light on the bottom of the mouse indicates that the battery is good. There is no visible pointer on the screen.

I took the laptop and mouse in Geek Squad at Best Buy.  The technician has tested my computer and said that the problem is with the mouse.  The mouse was made in January 2011.  The printed Quick Start Guide says it's Version 1.1.  I don't see any other model number.  This mouse is compatible with Windows 8.1?

Personally, I think there is a hardware problem with the mouse and it does not work on any other system. Please check first before you invest time in finding the drivers for your mouse.

  • Bookmarks my bookmarks toolbar don't be loading more left-click

I have two folders (for example the personal stuff, my twitter Inc. and facebook, etc.) and individual bookmarks on my toolbar (e.g. google, amazon, etc.). If it is in a folder I click as usual and it opens. If there is a direct link on the toolbar if nothing happens. I have you right click and choose open. It is not my mouse left click works EVERYWHERE else. And it's not the links themselves, as if I move them (for example, in a folder) they behave.

If you close Firefox, and then start Firefox in Mode without failure, in the problem? To start Safe Mode, go to Firefox > help > restart with disabled modules.

If the problem does not occur in Mode safe, then you can disable your extensions one by one until you find out that one is at the origin of the problem. See Troubleshooting extensions and themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems.

    Hello

Should give us a little more information than we can help so that notebook and OS make you have?
    What mouse do you have?

Normally, you can uninstall a software application if you go into control-online adding Panel & remove programs. Select the software for the mouse then click on uninstall.

If it doesn t work you need a special program. Therefore, I prefer CCleaner. You can also remove programs with this cold, you can clean the Windows registry and system files. It s very useful and can make your Windows faster.
    Check this box: http://www.ccleaner.com/
