  Those were nice computers laptops in the day but now completely obsolete. Use the Pentium M (Centrino) unique 32-bit processors and memory DDR 1 which tops out at 2 GB. You could do a minimum competence for browsing the Web and word processing, but it is really made for Windows XP, Vista not even without talking about Windows 7-10. It is not capable of running the 64-bit software.

  If you try to do an update to Win10, it should NOT ask for a product key.  IF this is the case, this means you are trying to force an update to a version that does not match what you already have.  For example, if you are running Win7 Home and trying to upgrade to Win10 Pro.  It is the same with the "N" versions - you can't mix "N" and "non - N".

  For later use, please do not share your serial number on the forums where this was considered personal information (that is why it is x'ed in blue). What to recommend a good processor, I need to know what kind of motherboard you have. Go to support.lenovo.com, enter your machine type (B520), go to the product detail, detail parts, spare parts system, and from there, you will need to enter your country and your serial number.
