Portege A600 - multiple problems (windows 7, wifi, mouse pads)

My computer toshiba laptop came with absolutely no record whatsoever, is this normal?

Wifi can find networks, but when I try to connect I get a message saying invalid network key (or soemthing like that) een when I put the password several times.

And finally, when I start the laptop my left click on the button and the touchpad will be just right click on the desktop, but then when a window is open and I have 'left click' he acts as if the windos is in the background.

I found what I believe is the latest driver for the touchpad, installed, everything works except the click right does not work either.

When I restart my laptop, it is up to the old touchpad drivers and so I have to reinstall the driver via the keyboard.

Hello

> My computer toshiba laptop came with absolutely no record whatsoever, is - this normal?
Yes, it of normal.
I guess you didn't read the user manual because you can find the reason for this.

Regarding your questions, it is difficult to say why this happens, but again, I assume that you are trying to put in the wrong password. Please check again, or use a different password.

And have you tested an external mouse? The same thing happens?

In addition I recommend you load the default settings in the BIOS.

    Hello
most likely, these files are not at all. This message usually when these files become 'independent' in the registry, or when certain network/protocol device missing files.
The problem with these files occurs generally when you install something in the network control panel that does not install correctly.
If you have recently installed a network adapter or Protocol in your system, remove it and reinstall it.
The IPX protocol is often also responsible for this message.

The mouspad is not disabled if you press the button...

I already deleted and reinstalled the ecoUtility and value added package - no results?

It runs under Windows 7-64 bit...

    The help is apreciated...

    Concerning

    Hello

Hmm. you are able to activate the Eco utility manually, but it does not start automatically when you press the button.
This means that there must be a problem with some command buttons that run the applications.
Usually the PPV control multimedia keys and so the new facility should fix this.

    I think you should try this;
    Firstly uninstall the VAP system.
Then, clean the windows operating system using the free tools like CCleaner for example.
This tool cleans garbage temporal files and the registry.
I think that some damaged registry entries can cause this
Restart the computer and then install 64-bit VAP.

    Good luck

I ve already removed the device and let windows find and install again but the problem persists.

    Hi fjdc,.

I think that you should look for an update to the driver on the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

Remove the old version, restart the computer and install the version of the Toshiba page.

  • Portege A600 - Windows 7 installation CD/DVD device driver

    Hello.

I am trying to install Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on my Portege A600.

I tried to boot from the DVD, flash. I changed all of the possible settings in the BIOS, I have updated the BIOS to version 3.0, but I still have this bloody error "a required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing". Is there a place where I can download this driver to show the installer without having to download a 100 TB of pron?

Or is there a way to fix my problem?

    Hello

First of all there is no special driver CD/DVD. It of a part of Windows 7 and so there are no drivers available.

It would be interesting to know when you get this error exactly.

Maybe your defective CD/DVD drive. You can test another?

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

    Hello

In my opinion, the Toshiba Recovery disk error message is very interesting and says a lot. What do you think about this?

If your HARD drive is defective, you need a new and you are not able to reinstall the OS. Maybe your HARD drive needs to be exchanged.

In your case I would contact an authorized service provider. Technicians can check your laptop and if it of under warranty, you should get a new HARD drive for free.

Well, I tried to download drivers on the Web site that you posted but I can't notice t a problem. All three drivers tried to downloaded are worked correctly.

  • Problem of button wifi HP Envy TouchSmart 15 j001TX on the upgrade to Windows 8.1

Finally, here is the Solution for the ProblemsI facing point 8.1 of Windows in my HP Envy 15 J001TX (D9H44PA) TS

    1 PROBLEM Wifi button (led)

-Cause - Bluetooth Incompatible Ralink driver (SP64082 Driver Wifi works fine)

-How to solve the problem =

Reset you first FORMATER THE System Partition (normally 100-500 MB size) when clean installing windows 8.1 (I don't know how to do after the upgrade via Windows store cause I never have I clean installed from the image ISO of Win 8.1)

Then after installing Windows install Wifi button Driver Compitable with your system and of course to win 8.1 (SP63752 http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-123643-1&cc=in&dlc=en&lc=en...  in my case)

Here you can see the effective operation of the Wifi Button (F12 key) after restarting your PC

Now if you install your old Wifi and Bluetooth Drivers you will ruin everything!

THEN please INSTALL new WIfi driver Ralink (SP64082 that are currently compatible for win 8 but works very well and were available on the site, only last week here is the link http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-125308-1&cc=in&dlc=en&lc=en... )

The driver Bluetooth Ralink (well SP64156 I do not know if it will work or not cause he doesn't get just installed on my machine gave error file not found and I never retried there are waiting for the Win 8.1 driver compatiblehttp://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-125314-1&cc=in&dlc=en&lc=en...)

THEN the underlying problem seems to be Bluetooth driver and above the steps is how it will be fixed!

In my view, FORMATTING of THE PARTITION SYSTEM is only average stuck reset who have dirtied the old Bluetooth driver!

    2. the NO work of BEATS AUDIO, other software and technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology bit

The main cause is the INCOMPATIBLES INTEL GRAPHICS drivers...

If you have installed the drivers Win 8 offered by HP on Win 8.1 What is causing many software malfunction!

Then please download the latest drivers from Intel graphics for your laptop https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx (in my case 4600 Graphics Intel for windows 8.1 64-bit has been downloaded) it works perfectly!

You must also install the updated Audio drivers (SP63555, http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-124012-1&cc=in&dlc=en&lc=en... )

Yes that's it everything works fine!  (I suggest that you do not install the Bluetooth driver until HP provides new compatible with win 8.1 setting the LED issue until then I suggest simply do not install and use bluetooth caue you must format the system partition whenever you need to reset the frame and for this we need to clean installation of Win 8.1)

    questions please answer!  tHNX

  • Windows Vista/Defender telling me that I have multiple problems after update

I use Windows Vista.  I've had problems since getting an update a few days ago.  Windows Defender is constantly telling me that I have multiple problems - if nothing has changed outside the Windows Update.  When I try to open my Convert (bought) the DVD program, it displays the message from the Red Cross stating that "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  May not be the appropriate permissions for access you to them.  I should have all permissions on a computer at home.

It would help if you gave the details of the messages you see Windows Defender.

It could be that you have a fake antivirus infection similar to this:

A symptom of this would be applications for payment activate the software.

  • Problems with wireless WIFI adapter. DWA-130 | Windows 7

    Hello

I did a post on this a few months back and it has been partially resolved; I tried to get my wireless to work on Windows 10 WIFI adapter and the people trying to help me as I discovered that 10 Windows does not have to support the device.

Now, I have a new problem. I recently, and recently I mean today, reformatted for Windows 7 because I'm not a big fan of Windows 10 (which is not because of my WIFI adapter doesn't work do not, it is mainly because of all the glitches that come with Windows 10 because it is so new). Sort of, I tried to install my WIRELESS card on my Windows 7 Desktop, and everything I did (I honestly don't know) I can't make it work... And here, if possible, why...

I think that the "unknown device" could be my adapter. If so, that would mean he has not installed correctly and therefore is not working right (or not at all, in this case).

How can I remove from my device manager? I have already used "uninstall Device Driver", and he says it uninstalls, but once I update the list, he's back again, this time with no way to uninstall it - I have to reboot the machine and then the option will pop up but then if I refresh it, it'll be welcome back here - now, it will not disappear.

My WIFI adapter is called "DWA-130" and the model number would be "DWA-130F1.

    Help would be very appreciated.

    The problem has been resolved.

Thanks for any help, in the end, I copied files from disks on my desk (before copying them, I just tried to use the DISK itself), then I went in "Devices and printers" clicked on my device (the "802.11 n WLAN [DWA-130]"), then went to "Device properties" and "Update Driver". I went to my office through the teleprompter and then when I was in the files on the disc, I went into the folder "Setup" and you press 'OK', in which he finally started to install the necessary drivers and you read this, I use my wireless adapter to access my internet.

    One thing to note;

Once it was installed, I went to the 'map settings' to connect to a preferred network, and some networks were visible. So I had to add mine in manually, once I added it manually, the WIFI indicator on my taskbar, when I opened it, all the other networks in my neighborhood was now visible as well.

I hope I helped someone with problems.
