Portege M750 - duration of low battery usage

Okay, so today when I started my M750 as usual.
I noticed that the battery says 4 mins left 84% remaining?
I got the smaller settings with saving energy of toshiba, but 3 minutes?
It's just sad.

Can someone tell me how to solve this problem? Or should I just get a new battery?
Usually, I loaded my laptop everywhere I went, but now I MUST.

Hello!

Try again to calibrate the battery. This means that you must complete battery evacuation until the laptop close itself. Charge the battery full, then try again.

If you have the same problem, once again, I would go to an ASP.

Good bye

  • Portege M750 - replacing the CMOS (RTC) battery

    Hello world

I have a Portege M750 model PPM75A-007010 and I need to change the CMOS (RTC) battery.

If someone can share with me
    -where to find this battery
-is normal around the battery and if you can tell me the number of battery?
    - or where I can buy this battery and price range?

    Thank you
    RC.

    Hello

Normally, the RTC battery in these models are rechargeable.
If not already done, please leave the unit on for the night (not disable, not extended, not sleep - but ON) and see if the problem is resolved.

I think the accusation-description/also the RTC battery is mentioned in your user manual.

  • Portege M750 Win7 64 bit Wireless Manager (3G) will not work

I can't TOSHIBA Wireless Manager (3G) to work in a new installation of Win 7 64 bit.

I did a test installation of Windows 7 64 - bit on and old SATA hard drive and checked TOSHIBA Wireless Manager would work. He did.

I then did a fresh install of Windows 7 64 - bit on a new Crucial C300 Real SSD 256Go.

The new facility with the Crucial SSD is not very successful... The operation "stop and restart" does not - the closing not always power off completely and you must push the switch down to.

Sometimes the SSD does not start - you enter the password of the BIOS but then nothing happens. Sometimes you turn off the power and remove the battery before as the startup disk.

But the biggest problem is that the (3G) Wireless Manager will not work. The application opens and indicates that "died" - which it is impossible that I use WiFi to post this question.

I tried to install the software Vodafone 3 G portal. It detects the presence of the 'mobile device' (SIM in housing) but then can not turn it on.

I downloaded and installed all the latest drivers for the chip, the pilot 3G, 3G software, LAN driver, LAN software and all updates of Windows 7.

I have the latest version of the BIOS (3.0) but this has not been updated by Toshiba since 11/04/09.

I would point out that Diagnostic PC Toshiba tool does not recognize the installed 8 GB memory (but ccleaner):

    This indicates a BIOS problem?

    -don't

points to a problem of firmware on the SSD drive (is it sandforce) torque to the incompatibility of BIOS of the SSD.

I assume that all drivers installed etc were identical on the installation of the trial of HARD drive? so if this is the case it must be the SSD does not not with the BIOS correctly, so the other issues as well

  • Mobiel Breedband WWAN / 3G in Portege M750

    Hello

I have a UMTS start XS4ALL mobiel internet key usb. Can I use this SIM card about slot the battery of my Portege M750 (Mobiel Breedband WWAN / 3 G (HSDPA 7.2 Mbps / HSUPA 2 Mbps))

And how do I then an internet connection?

    With greetings

    Hello!

I m not an expert, but you can use the SIM card in each location that is designed for SIM cards so I'm pretty sure it will work.

I'm not sure, but normally you should get a driver disk or something else with the stick. Check and install the software on the drive.

  • Who are the real or compatible cards for the Portege M750-109?

    Hello

Anyone know who is the number of the actual card for the Toshiba Portégé M750-109?

I wonder if the PA3283U-1ACA iscompatible.
(15V) voltage and amperage (5V) are the same, but what about the decision-making that plugs into the laptop?

Can someone explain the significance of the various characters in the nummer adapter?
    For example, the difference between a (-1ACA) and a (-3ACA), a.s.o..

For 200V cord, country differences are not a problem, I can get the power supply one another.

But I need the adapter and its taken low voltage to be compatible with the M750-109.
So, how do I identify what Toshiba cards are compatible?

    Thank you very much.

Supports the adapter used for Portege M750 * 15 Volt ampere 5 *.
You must use a power adapter that supports 15V too!
    This is very important!

The value of intensity can be a little different but too low because in this case the laptop would not get enough power!

    > Voltage (15V) and amperage (5V) are the same, but what about the decision-making that plugs into the laptop?
The 15V AC adapter should be the same

  • Portege M750 and 3 G/GPS

I have a Portege M750, inserted a Sim Card into the slot behind the battery, but I can't connect. It detects my local network (Vodafone), I have a level 3 signal but when I click on "Connect" it tries to connect and fails. Then give me some ideas on what to do.
And I would ask if it is possible to connect to the GPS. I have a navigation program (IGo 8 for pc) and I want to connect the GPS.

    Hello

Don't know what's going wrong for you, but you can try the latest drivers/Toshiba Wireless Manager.

    Drivers:
    http://Support1.toshiba-tro.de/Tedd-files2/0/3gdrv-20090130131934.zip
    Wireless Manager:
    http://Support1.toshiba-tro.de/Tedd-files2/0/wlmng-20090331151350.zip

I'm not familiar with IGo 8, but if she supports the NMEA data to the serial port, it should work.

  • Problems/Tablet Portege M750

Recently got my new Portege M750 (12G - but I don't see it on any lists). In any case I'm a graphic designer so I tried to get the laptop to record the pressure so I could better pain by installing the drivers from wacom tablet PC from here: http://www.wacom.com/Tabletpc/driver.cfm

They have installed fine but since the flexibility of the pen is much diminished. Clique is difficult to register and drag is buggy aswell. I tried to remove the drivers, but when I reboot it wants to just reinstall the wacom tablet driver again.

Please this is getting frustrating, I remove the drivers from wacom (although it is located on the control panel), I tried to insert the restore disc to let him get the original drivers, but he found nothing.

Anyone know how to reset the drivers to their original setting?

Thanks in advance, any help is much appreciated.

~ It is a repost of the American forums, haven't gotten an anser yet. ~

To be honest, I must say that I don't have much experience with the tablet PC computers. I have played several times with a single model of Portege, but I can't say I'm an expert for tablet PC.
Until you wait the final answer, I just offer my personal opinion on all of this.

As you know Toshiba delivered this portable tablet with own drivers, tools and utilities. It is designed for some tablet PC. All Toshiba stuff has been tested and it should work properly.

In any case, go back to your question. How to restore drivers?
Delivered restore disc is a picture of recovery facilities, and you can use it if you want to install OS and have again factory condition (clean OS preinstalled). So does not allow it for the installation of the single pilot.

If you want to install specific drivers you can download from the Toshiba support page.
To download the correct drivers, you know good for your laptop model number. You can find it on the sticker of Toshiba in the lower corner.

Where you bought this laptop? What is the country of purchase?

    Hello

the sound continues beep less than 10% of autonomy. It s not in relation to Windows 7 home pro. Even with the Windows sound events off it keeps beeping. In power options, with turned battery notification low and critical it keeps beeping. Only muted support. It must be connected with some software from Toshiba, anyone know how to disable? Please help me, it s so annoying!

    Hey Buddy,

I'm not quite sure, but AFAIK this low battery beep could be also caused by the BIOS

If I remember well in the BIOS there is an option called beep, beep PC or similar and you should disable this option. That means the computer won't no beep sounds.

    You can confirm s work?

  • Portege M750 PPM75E Windows 8 drivers - SOLUTION

    Hello

I just wanted to leave a message with the solutions that I found for different applications for Portege M750.
These are the applications that I use the most,
so if you need other drivers and applications just leave a reply and I'll try to find it.

    Utility of fingerprinting.
Control Panel-> user accounts and the safety of the family-> user accounts and you have an option in the left side of the window for fingerprints. Install the drivers and programs, works like a charm. Or search on google for TrueSuite

For the ctrl + al + arrow down to reverse the screen, I used iRotate (google it).

Still no solution for the protection of HARD drive utility, again.

Many drivers Win7 would work with system Win 8.
But there are still some drivers and utilities which are not entirely compatible.
I have a tip for you:
As far I know the HDD protection as utility isn't a model of related software.
You can try to install Win 8 HDD utility out to protect Z930 protection

It would be really interesting to know if it works.

  • Portege M750 - 2nd HARD drive in the Bay select instead of optical drive carrier

I just bought I used Portege M750 because my M700 was broken. Unfortunately, the berries to choose between the two models are not compatible. Although the availability of a 2nd drive hard trolley is mentioned in the user manual, I couldn't find the part of the disk for the M750 caddy. I tried a standard SATA-SATA HARD drive caddy, but I get a message "select Bay error" at the start, although the caddy runs under windows, as long as you do not hibernate.

Does anyone know the part no of the real 2nd hard drive for Portege M750 caddy / M780? Or is there another 2nd carriage of hard drive that works with the M750 without restriction?

    Hello

I guess that you will need a hard drive caddy part number: P000452980
Then you could place this in the Toshiba Ultra Slim PA3408U-2CTE and PA3408U-1ETC HARD disk adapter

But you can also contact the Toshiba ASP in your country to get a confirmation...

The Portege M750 works on Advanced Port Replicator III more (PA3474E-1PRP)?

    Hello

I discovered that the Express II port replicator is compatible with the Portege M750.

I searched a bit on google and found this link to an Advanced Port Replicator III over the datasheet. But it s only in German.
    http://www2.inmac.de/inmac_assets/PDF/German/e569412_datasheet.PDF

However, the M750 Poretge is not listed as a unit compatible and taken in charge.
So I guess that more Advanced Port Replicator III cannot be used with protected M750 toghterer

  • fully charged iphone 5 c goes down, low battery will appear

My two year iphone, 5 c (version 5.3) keeps crashing and showing the screen low battery even if it is fully charged. Then it becomes unresponsive until the phone is plugged into the charger. It will load once connected, but any application that I use it will crash once I have unplug the unit. I can't even recalibrate the battery because it will crash at 90%, 77% etc before I can completely drain the battery. It has been like this for more than a week. Quite annoying when it happens during important calls.

I deleted the apps I used in each accident. I made a simple reboot and a forced restart. I even reset all settings and none of it worked. Today, I downloaded the 9.3.1 update ios hoping he can solve this problem, but no luck. Is it a hardware problem or software? My phone is out of warranty, so I would really any help that might prevent me from having to go to the apple store.

You can try the recovery mode. If your problem is software partner, who will most likely fix it. If not, try again, but set your phone as new. If the recovery mode does not solve your problem, you can try the DFU mode. If none of them work for you, it is probably a hardware problem.

  • Portege M750 - change from 32-bit to 64-bit

I just bought a laptop Portege M750 which is preinstalled with Vista Business 32 bit and separate tablet XP on a recovery disk.

I await with resinstall with 64-bit Vista business, then install the XP as part of a system to dual-boot to take full advantage of the 4 GB already installed in memory extension and more in the future.

My question is this: Although the drivers Toshiba download page does not specifically list a Vista 64 bit OS, no matter who made a similar change of OS on a Portégé / or other laptop and had all incompatabilty with applications and 32-bit drivers? If so, what drivers/features have caused problems later.

The "Toshiba" folder in the notebook computer C:\ directory contains all of the drivers and install files required or these all need to be downloaded from the Web site.

    Thank you

    Hello

Usually, 32-bit divers are designed and created only for the 32 bit OS and usually they would not run on 64 bit OS. But who knows, maybe some unique drivers would be compatible with 64 bit but it is more than questionable.

    > Does the folder "Toshiba" in the directory C:\ for laptop computer contain all drivers and install files required or these all need to be downloaded from the Web site.
Generally all Toshiba drivers can be downloaded from the page of European driver of Toshiba.
Toshiba on C file can contain only the installed tools and software.

    See you soon
