  I had the same problem.  I was able to get around by loading the driver for Windows XP 64 bit from the Canon web site and then install the printer using the normal menu of 'install new printer' Windows 8.  If I remember correctly, I could have gotten an error message or two, but the printer appears in the printer window and ran very well.  Hope this works for you as well.

  I'm a student in computer engineering at the University of Waterloo 1A, and I run a very serious problem with my HP Envy 15 "TouchSmart laptop computer running Windows 8.1. It is a problem that just started today, and I'd rather have a first support here before going to see the technical support Office sometimes tomorrow. It has to do with the screen and the fans where the Power LED lights in white, just as when the laptop works properly.

  (I have warranty on the laptop when it was purchased last June, except that if I find that I need to get a replacement, I'll lose all my work, I did on that since I started my semester.) It's so silly of me not to have all my work saved on a backup, because I have an external hard drive. Problem is, I've had too many problems in getting myself organized, I'm not being open-minded as I should, and worse, I'm not a balance between life and work at home.)

  Before I had my MATH 117 conference (Calculus 1 Engineering), I was in a nearby lab where my laptop was open and turned, works correctly. I've had NetBeans IDE running since I wanted to work on the second part of my current assignment of CS 137 (principles of programming). Because it was almost time for my presentation, I closed the laptop by simply moving the screen down on the keyboard, where it goes into mode 'sleep'. (Whenever I flip to the top of the screen, the laptop is supposed to return, and the sliding screen of Windows 8.1 connection will appear.)

  When I took my seat for reading, I wanted to spend a little time to work on my programming assignment. However, after the reversal of the screen to the top, instead of having the login screen appears, I encountered the problem: the power supply light is showing a white light, but I don't hear the fans between the ventilation openings on the left side of the laptop and the screen does not light.   I have a Pavilion dv7-6b32us laptop.  Intel CORE i7.  Windows 7.  Nothing added, but the printer drivers and nothing lately.  Yesterday morning keyboard worked fine.  Last night the J K L; were not working.  Clean under the keys.  Then enter key does not.  Have reloaded drivers.  The Enter key on the numeric keypad works ok.  I plugged in a USB keyboard and everything works normally with him.  Any ideas?

• XI Adobe bought and downloaded from the site does not not after the installation of the automatic update

  I purchased a license through web for xi Adobe & downloaded and installed.  Worked perfectly until the recent update (app was config auto-Update). Now the product does not open, it immediately passes to "not responding" when opening a .pdf file.  I tried to go programs - "fix" without success. I DON'T want to update for DC, as the automatic upgrade has tried to make me do.  I just want what I bought to work! Please notify.

  Error message indicates that you have the serial number for the upgraded version. You need the previous version serial number activate the program.

  Allow that content is available only when the conference bridge is an MCU and does not apply to a server of telepresence.  The only thing you need to do within the Orchestra, is ensure that "content quality" within the model of the Conference is not set to 'Off', see the top of pg 61 of the guide that you have linked to your post.  Also, make sure you have enabled on the SIP Trunk to driver in CUCM BFCP.

  I'm new to the BlackBerry development and work with the example of BlackBerry Web icon sample (to launch a Web site in the browser) and almost everything works correctly.

  Using the BlacBerry JDE 4.7.0.41, I created my project/application.  I tried to put the project General properties (title, description, version, vendor name).  Loading the app for BB, the title is displayed correctly, but the version shows 0.0.

  In reviewing the .jad file, it seems that the version fields and the seller are not defined on the values that I've specified on the general tab of the properties of the project (see below).

  If you have already compiled the file once before defining general properties, then you need to remove the jad, so it can be recreated or editing it by hand.

  For my mistakes, I uninstalled skydrive and deleted the shortcut created in the bookmarks and folders moved to another location remove skydrive folder and re-run the backup and restore tool.

  Then everything worked well for me.

  I upgraded my Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate via a retail upgrade copy (2010).  I'm a redefinition now machine (should have done years ago), and the upgrade code does not work.  The product key that is listed in the properties of my system no longer.  I entered the code of Vista, but who is not recognized.
