  The webcam should be included under point: imaging devices

  If you can see this, then uninstall the driver in Device Manager.
  Then, go to control panel of-> software and uninstall webcam software.
  Then clean the BONES and the registry using the CCleaner.
  Then restart the laptop and download the latest version of the software webcam Toshiba driver page.
  Install the webcam software and reboot the laptop.

  After that the laptop has started, start the webcam software and check if the webcam can be used.

  On my Portege Z830-10F wireless stops working when I plug in a device on the USB 3 port. The wireless connection back upwards as soon as I remove the device.

  The problem occurs with any device I plug. I tested with disks external usb (usb 2 and usb 3), USB, a receiver wireless mouse and a printer/scanner.

  This problem only occurs when something is connected to the USB 3 port. The USB 2 ports on the rear do not have the problem.

  Port USB 3 itself works very well.

  Running windows 8 pro:
  * Wireless lan adapter: Qualcomm Atheros AR9200WB-1NG (version 10.0.0.75 driver)
  * USB port 3: Renesas USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 0096 (version 6.2.9200.16420 driver)

  I see that I ve got the latest drivers installed on the wireless LAN card and the usb host controller 3.

  The problem arises as well on windows 7 and windows 8 pro. I used the wizard to upgrade Toshiba upgrade of windows 7 to windows 8.

  This problem is present since I got this laptop. I ve already done a reinstall / recovery back to the original with windows configuration 7 but this doesn´t solve the problem.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  Is there a way to fix this?

  To be honest, it's the first time I read on this issue.
  I have no idea how a device attached to the USB 3.0 port could affect the Wlan functionality.

  I assume its hardware fault and cela must be verified by a certified maker Toshiba.

  somehow I know that if I have ony plugin 2/3 of jet Audio Combo jack it works this combination (external internal mic + headphones)

  Sins, I bought my HP Pavilion dv7-7051ea a month ago, the internal microphone has never worked properly when I try to talk to my friends on Skype or voipwise. Have never had this problem before.   You can test it with another microphone on your system?  Maybe with another headset USB and see if the problem occurs with a different headset.

  About 2 weeks I have a new 19th L500 with Windows 7 and it worked fine. But since a few days I have trouble with my microphone, no matter if I use the internal or an external headset/mic. The question is it seems to work for a few seconds only, for example try a call via Skype, teamspeak etc. but people don't hear my Hello and a few more words, then they only hear me very well. The parameters of all them seem to be good and I already downloaded/installed the latest drivers realtek, but nothing is.

  Anyone have an idea what can be the problem and how to fix it?

  Really strange, stammann. Have you also tried to update the driver for the webcam? I ask this question because the microphone is a part of the webcam, then you also need to update this driver. Just check the Toshiba page for an update:

  You also enabled amp Microphone? You can check it in the audio settings of Windows.

• pc speakers internal just stopped working little matter what I try

  I have a 1 year old Acer netbook.  Internal speakers worked fine, just stopped one day.  Everything else still works very well.  The speaker volume is set to 100%, went through the options help and realized what that said, but in vain.  It is frustratilng to not hear this, music, shopping channels, tube you, etc.  I'm not that tech savvy if need help.

  Error code 10 means that the device could not start.
  This may be related to driver problem (software), but also hardware problem.

  Let's see if its a software issue: check that I recommend you to uninstall the software for a Chicony webcam first.
  As far as I know, you should be able to uninstall the software in the control panel? programs & features.
  In the case of the Chicony webcam software is not listed here, go to Device Manager and uninstall the webcam driver which you should find in imaging devices.

  After the system restart, go to the page of the Toshiba UE driver and download Chicony webcam software to perform the new installation.
  You will probably need to restart the laptop once more to make it work properly.

  So lets hope that this accelerated procedure would solve your problem of course that if the problem is related to the problem of software.

  There must be a reason any. The first open the sound properties in Control Panel, click the recording tab and make sure that the Microphone is activated correctly.

  Do you know what particular update has been applied?

  If it was an update of the Bios, try a Hard Reset as follows.

  Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery, connect the AC adapter and see if the laptop boots.
