  There is no way that anyone might be able to help without more. My initial guess and it is just a guess, is that you have to update Internet Explorer .v8. Click HERE and download IE8 and install it. Try again updates once the installation is complete.

  You can again save wmp.dll, and then search for the question.

  a. Click Start, run and type:

  regsvr32 "%programfiles%\Windows Media Player wmpband.dll"

  b. press enter and restart the computer and check.

  I had the same problem.  But finally found a solution.  If your listing is similar to mine, then keep.  XP Media Center Edition 2005 (sp2).  AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual-Core, HP a1630n desktop computer.

  Go to the HP website, search for sp37394-XP sp3 Upgrade utility Microsoft for systems equipped with AMD processors.

  At the same time a long time ago there was a way to register for notifications by e-mail of new updates, I have not seen this for years.  Many products have an application that can be selected when the drivers are installed to check and install updates regularly.

  I prefer to manually verify updates, for your printer, you can get updates from HP here.  I see there was a relatively recent firmware update it.

  Hey guys. After the upgrade to El Captain, I recently discovered that my Windows partition has been erased for some reason I don't know. I thought it was ok, that I would be re - install again, but I met some difficulties. In the tab "about this Mac" storage, there is no acknowledgement of the 60 GB drive I've used for windows and for Mac I have only 430/500 GB max, which means that the 60 GB is still a stranger in the car. I opened utility disc (image below) and as I thought there is a 60 GB named Untitled drive I can not recover when I try to partition the hard drive. Moreover, as you can see, the drive is not on the left side.

  El Capitan Upgrade can cause problems with Windows installed. It may still be recoverable.

  There is a locking switch slide on the battery to be slid sideways as you also push the battery door.  Please make sure you do both at the same time, otherwise the battery door remains locked.

  IM hard to get the sound to work on my dads pc. I reinstalled windows xp after a virus wiped out, and when I go to the Device Manager, all audio drivers are listed. They all work correctly according to the Manager of devices, but under "other devices", there are several things that are listed with icons of yellow question mark next to them. IM wondering if maybe the problem with these "other devices", rather than the sound itself.
