Portege Z20t - Win10 version of the graphics card driver

The current driver in my computer is: -.
Device Manager > display graphics HD Adapters > Intel(r) 5300 > driver >
Version = 20.19.15.4331 18/11/2015 Intel Corporation.

On the Toshiba web site.
http://www.MyToshiba.com.au/support/...download?OS=33
Intel Driver driver 10.18.15.4256 windows 10 64 bits 179,7 MB

And on the site Web of Intel, the driver is 15.40.10.4300 28 January 2016

Now, how is the driver Intel version 28 January 2016 15 computer version 20 dated NOV-2015 and the toshiba web site but version 10 and it is still topical?

And all this because Firefox does not restore correctly and also the computer does not wake up when I open the lid.

I use z20t Portege with Dynadock 4 k and external monitor. The Intel 5300 driver cannot see the second screen and clearly does not work properly. Is this corrected? Can I update to the latest version of the Intel driver?

  • Satellite P10 and the graphics card driver updates

    Hello

I'm a newbie on this forum, but let's get to the point. I have Toshiba Satellite PSP10E (PIV 2.8HT 800 Mhz, 1 GB of system memory bus speed and UNFORTUNATELY a GF 5600go...).
My (not only) problem is that Toshiba use engineering video BIOS version and it does not have the latest drivers for the geforce series. The most up-to-date driver that really works is the last of the series 5xxx... so you can see that none of the newer games can be run with a performance on this map... because older drivers don't use really not (available at directx9.0) 2.0 pixel shader. It would not be a problem if Toshiba would give an update not only BIOS system, but also the bios video (new system BIOS contains the same old video bios.

I really had to settle for playing games that are 2 years old? First of all pay a lot of money for a witch of the computer has enough power to run some new but don't care support Toshiba for this...

I was the proud owner of a Toshiba laptop, but I'm not! If I had to choose again, I decide to buy computer Toshiba...
My Question: is that Toshiba will do something with this problem? Someone knows how to help? Thanks for any help (I have not found such a problem in this forum, sorry if it has been the front sign) and sorry for my English (hope that's understandable)
    My video Bios is: v4.31.20.56.A6

    Hello

We know that you can not install the drivers downloaded from the download page of GF because of the restriction of material. It's not only the Toshiba models, but also on other producers of portable and if you visit the download page of graphics cards, it is always recommended to download drivers designed by the manufacturers of portable.

I think that nobody can explain why it's because I'm sure you know the reason. The performance of the graphics card will always be a topic of discussion and you will always want to have maximum performance for games with laptop, although performance may not be the same as on the desktop where you have the possibility to change the graphics card and install the latest drivers.

Because of this, I think that it is really unnecessary to some turbulence here. Believe me, you can buy what you want, but after two or three years you will be always satisfied with something.

In any case, good luck and enjoy life!

I get a understood to "re - install DirectX and/or insert the latest video card driver.
I reinstalled DirectX, but I'm not sure of the video card.

Any ideas what driver I need?

    Hi mate

This unit supports the Mobile Intel GL40 graphics card.
The latest graphics card driver can be downloaded from the Intel page.
    See the Intel Web site.

The installation of the graphics card must be made in the Device Manager.
Here, you use the Advanced installation procedure which allows to point to the driver files downloaded from the Intel page.

  • Sat Pro 2100: the graphics card driver updates

I bought a laptop from Toshiba in 2002 (satellite pro) and they have just updated the VGA driver once...
I bought a toshiba, then because they had the graphics card, I'd need for my study (virtual design) but now because Toshiba somehow don't think that new drivers are important I can't use certain features have new drivers and my chip does not support, but I have not the driver for them.
    Is this normal?
If it is then maybe I should get another brand in the future.

    Gaga Hello

As you know Toshiba have many different models of laptops, and I think that it is not easy to design and test many updates especially for older models. In my opinion, you should check what new portable has the same or similar graphics card and try to install the latest driver designed by Toshiba.

Unfortunately I put t know one you have and don't know if the new driver will be working properly, but you can try anyway.

  • Portege R700 - Autocad 2011 does not recognize the graphics card

    Hello

I have toshiba Portege R700 with 64-bit win 7 installed.
I need the computer for use with autocad 2011.

For some reason any auocad does not recognize the graphics card installed on the computer.
I suspect it because very little memory is allocated for the graphics card.

How can I change with the memory allocated for the graphics card, or perhaps, can someone show me where can I find a driver that supports autocad.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

What Portege R700-xxx you have exactly?
As far as I know the graphics memory cannot be assigned manually.
Everything is controlled by the graphics driver and you have no influence on this

You can try updating the graphics card driver maybe it would help.
The most recent driver found on the page of the European driver Toshiba
If not, you should check the manufacturer of the graphics chip driver

But today, I got this failure to the course to watch live TV streams and it seemed to me that the laptop does not work correctly. I tried to restard and then I get this message: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (cmdhlp.sys). It must be the graphics card and I don't think it's a hd or RAM failure in this case.

Any tips? Repair? New graphics card?

    Thank you!

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what can be the reason of this failure.

  • Satellite A500-1GL: 2 questions: the fan speed & graphic card driver failures

    Hello

I have 2 questions, hopefully someone can help me with that.

    * The first question - quick fan *.

I'm on online gamer second life and world of the craft of war) recently my fan speed crank up to 90 percent for about 5/10 minutes before leaving quiet. Then speed up again after a period of time. I'm confused as to why he did this because when I check my cpu temp is only make 40%, and I use a cool buffer table.

I'm looking for some advise here because all said Toshiba was making sure I had the latest bios update. But I would have thought it is not the processor overheating the fan must not be crank that quickly. My laptop is only 2 months old.

Can anyone help, should I be worried?

    * Second question - graphics driver *.

Also on a couple of times I got my screen briefly go black and then recover. A pop up appears saying something along the lines of the core of the graphics card.... Driver recovered. It flashes if fast, that I never see the entire message. Don't you think that something is wrong with the graphics card? (card nividia geforce gt300m)

I really hope that someone can offer more help that Toshiba has done, as I am a bit unhappy to be problems on a 2 month old laptop.

Thank you for reading and I look forward to any Advisor.

The cooling fan is controlled by the fan table in the BIOS. Fan table contains information about the temperature and the fan speed that means the depands on some level temperature fan speed.
Over all the possible game features as the CPU, GPU, produce heat and the heat dissipation is high
Cooling modules would begin to turn faster if the temperature level would be exceeded
This is nothing exceptional everything at stake

  • Satellite P300-1EI (PSPCCE) - how to allocate more memory to the graphics card?

    Hello

I have a laptop toshiba satellite P300 with this graphics card: ATI mobility radeon HD 3650.
I want to allocate more memory for this graphics card. How could I do?

I can't do this in my bios, I don't have this option...

    Another way?

    Hello

Something like that is not possible because the graphics card driver it controls automatically.
If the graphics card would need more graphics memory then the driver assigns the amount of necessary RAM automatically.

  • Sataellite 1 5 A300 - specification of the graphics card.

    Hi all..

Well, I myself remember the time I bought a laptop, and after the long struggle, I decided to buy the Toshiba, that day, the portable storefront was, first thing I did was make a right-click > ATi catalysts > hardware Information... got my money in the wallet 'fresh money' and took the package to the House, my laptop is : [Satellite A300 - 1 5 | ion.session.new = Yes & PRODUCT_ID = http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/SUPPORTSECTION/discontinuedProductPage.do?service=EU&com.broadvis 1055589]...

I use my laptop for modeling 3D games and SMEs next to my main use which studies and surf the web... but I still want to play games because she is really good and high specification - click on the link to its specifications. Now when I go to the desktop and open the Catalyst Control Center and open the tab hardware information I find good graphics under the hood, the info as follows:

    ===========================================
Manufacturer of graphics, Powered by ATI cards
Graphics Chipset ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 card

    Memory size 1534 MB
    Type of memory

    HyperMemory
    * Basic MHz 680 MHz clock *.
    * Clock in MHz 500 MHz memory *.

    First display Yes

    =====================================

Now if someone can really explain to me why I can't some games even after lowering of resolution 640 x 480 with all settings off the coast, and especially why software GPU - Z is reading the * + _GPU 337 MHz and GPU Memory Clock 247 MHz clock * _ +, it is a good explanation for this? because I want to, I got pranked courses... because a friend has more old laptop with card older GFX (ATi HD 2400 on HP laptop) can run games better than my laptop (Toshiba) and it has even a rate more high Vista partition (for the GFX card Windows experience index is 4.7) while mine got only 4.1 for games and 4.0 for Aero...

    Thanks in advance...

Note: GPU - z is a program to read and find the inforamtion on the GPU and its software... you can download it and try it... its free utility.

    Hello

The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 is known under the name of code (M82XT)
Google because, if you need a few details

Usually the GPU supports the shared system memory and dedicated video memory. Total available graphics memory is the amount of video memory dedicated and shared system memory.

For example this GPU supports these values with the main memory of 2 GB of RAM:
    Shared system memory: 767 MB
    Dedicated video memory: 256 MB
    Total available graphics memory: 1023M

Also the graphics card driver automatically controls the graphics memory allocation. If the graphics memory is required then the pilot share main memory.
The speed graph is controlled by the graphics so driver.
If the GPU temperature will rise to a higher level then the clock driver down the GPU in order to prevent the equipment from damage
It s a kind of security on the new generation of laptops with more strong s GPU

  • Satellite P200 accidents + message: graphic card driver does not work properly

    Hello

hope that this issue has not been covered before, but I've owned a Satellite P200 for 3 years now, and this week, it crashes all the time.

When it started going down he gave me a few messages in the sense of "your graphics card/driver does not work properly and windows will be arrested to avoid damage.

It has progressed to the point where now when I turn it on, I have vertical lines running down the screen and the screen flashes on and outside. Within 20 seconds, it restores the BSOD - 'there was a problem and windows will be arrested. Error Page_Fault_In_Non_Paged_Area"then stops.

I ran a system restore but the problem remains.

I have a feeling that my graphics card is toast. Is this good? Are there any other options to try? Thanks in advance for any answers.

    Matt

    Hello

    Sounds like the GPU problem.
But try the graphics card driver update.
Use the most recent driver for your graphics card.

In addition, clean the fans of portable computers.
Dust and debris could prevent the cooling fans to turn with the best speed and this could lead to a higher temperature which would lead to overheating.
Use a jet of compressed air. I also use it and it helps to get rid of dust and debris.

If this is not enough, then a problem of graphics chip would be possible.
