  To install and use Apple pay on your devices, you must:

  • iPhone: iPhone, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 more and later.
  • iPad: iPad Pro, 2 Air iPad, iPad mini 3 and later versions.

  I just got an iPad pro and have an earlier version. There is no booklet in settings, but that's what the instructions do say.

  Here's what you'll need:

  Add your card:

  2. Press Add a credit or debit.

  The double-click feature applies from the lock screen, not the home screen.

  To check that it is always enabled, go to: settings > portfolio & Apple pay > check that double click on the home page button is enabled.

• I can access and modify current credit card info in apple pay on iphone 6 ios 9.3.2 with new expiration date?

I think I may need to update dates of expiry on the maps, but I can't find where to change it or even see the information to check it out. do I have to remove the current cards and replace them with the new? can I access current information in order to determine if this is my problem?

  You can probably remove and re - enter the map.  Settings > portfolio & Apple pay unless the credit card is also the default value, the one you use with your Apple ID.  In the latter case, go to settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > review Apple ID > payment information to update your card information.  Yet once, you may need to remove and re-add the map here.

• Apple pay ceases to function in standby

  One of the best features of my Apple Watch is the convenience of compensation from Apple. It's fantastic!  Unfortunately this function no longer works after upgrading IPhone 6 to 9.3.4. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. I understand Apple pay is not an option when the double click the Home button. I know access pay Apple for a locked screen can do so useful everyday. I'm happy to help you to get this resolved with you.

  I recommend first restart your iPhone. This can solve many unexpected behaviours. Follow the steps below if necessary.

  1. Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device completely off.
  3. Once the device turns off, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

  Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

  If the problem persists, the next option would be to reset all settings. It takes all the defaults, including passwords and Wi - Fi networks, alerts, notifications, brightness, wallpaper and sounds. This will also remove your cards Pay of Apple. Even if no content is lost with this step, it is always a good idea to back up first. If you do not have a recent backup, use the following link for assistance if necessary.

  Tap here then click Next and follow the instructions.

• 9.2.1 and Apple pay

  Updated my 6s in 9.2.1 this morning.  Later in the day, I tried to use Apple pay to a place where he had previously worked at Marvel (Walgreens), and the loyalty and credit card failed.  After that, I have it turned off and restarted... but also noticed that portfolio was not switched "on" in the iCloud settings.  I don't remember light, which was part of the initial installation... need for Apple pay work? (Have not been able to find anything dealing specifically with that).  If it was before, then the update apparently drop it.  If it should not be on, what is causing the problem?  Will try again, but it's far from ideal to be futzing autour when there are people online.

  Nope.  He didn't turn to me (I have updated to iOS 9.2.1 yesterday and used pay Apple successfully today).

  Also check settings > Wallet & Apple pays and make sure the settings to make sense.

  I'm a big fan of Apple pay, I use it anywhere that accepts it.

  A feature, I can't wait to try it immediately when I got my Apple Watch (24 hours ago only) was paying Apple.

  In the first hour of me set up my watch, I went to McDonald's to get a Coke (it's the closet place who agrees to pay Apple), so I could test Apple pay.

  When I put my watch next to the drive, nothing happened. The screen remained black all the time. To complete the transaction, I pulled out my phone and also, which didn't work. I used pay Apple on my iPhone, several times the same McDonald's before and it's always worked flawlessly.

  A few hours later, I had went to Best Buy to buy wireless headphones and once more tried to use Apple pay on my watch for the purchase. But unfortunately, nothing happened here either. The watch remained black all the time.

  While I was trying to make it work, I noticed my iPhone wake up (he was placed flat on the counter) and displays the message - "Hold iPhone close reader" (I forgot the "exact" wording). When I gave up on the Apple Watch, I took my phone to purchase and it worked perfectly.

  Now, whenever I have install my credit card on the iPhone, I have to check (via a SMS of BofA code). When I looked at the settings in the Apple Watch app on my iPhone - I saw my already credit card. I clicked on the button 'Add' next to her, that I then invited to add security code 3 digit number to check. Once I did, my credit card was placed under the header indicating that it is an active card on the watch. And a few seconds, I had received a notification on the watch let me know it was ready for use.

  I guess it is setup correctly, which miss me so much? Are there any ideas as to why my Apple Watch does nothing?

  In order to pay using Apple pay on your watch, you must first quickly double - press the side button.

  It will then display your default map. If you have added other cards and you want to use one of them instead, swipe to switch between maps. With your favorite card displayed, hold your watch up to the Terminal:

  -The dial of the watch must be faced with and parallel to the screen of the own terminal (you shouldn't be able to see the face of the watch and pay), aligned in the Center with the logo without contact on the terminal screen and held less than 10cm.

  -It must be blocked in this position for up to a few seconds, until you hear the confirmation beep and the pulse haptic.

• Apple pays lock screen

  When I double tap the home button to lock the screen to bring up the portfolio to pay Apple, all my cards appear with the exception of Starbucks. Someone knows why?

  I have the Starbucks app on my iPhone 6 s; Starbucks card is already in my portfolio.  I wish I could use from the lock screen, but it is not included with the rest of my cards.

  Apple pay is for the credit cards or debit; the Starbucks card is technically a 'pass' and will not appear in the Apple menu pay. You need to unlock your phone and open the application portfolio to access.
