Hello, im trying to COM with my PC and the mobile phone using J2ME and J2SE, but when I ask for the COM windos anything happen I check the Device Manager and the Ports (COM & LPT) wasn't there, so use the Action menu select Add legacy hardware.

After installation I get the exclamation "Warning" Code 34 and the following comment "Windows cannot determine the settings for this device.
So I use this tutorial "http://lifewithdotnet.blogspot.com/2012/02/how-to-add-physical-serial-port.html" for the configuration manually.
Now I have another exclamation Point "Warning" Code 10 of the commentary 'this device cannot start' I have tried to disable then enable the component nothing happen.
Looking for an update of the component said that its already been updated.
How can I fix this error?
PS actually the USB ports work! If I connect a printer USB Flash drive, IPOD, even my work cell fine sound when im trying to get an answer for java that the list of ports is delivered empty, I tried the java SE & ME in the other laptop and it works so I don't think its java.

Hi Charlie,

In order to change the hardware parameters, you should contact your hardware vendor. Microsoft will not be able to help you change the hardware settings.

  • PORTS (COM & LPT) is more visible in the device controller speaker?

Allows you to view is no longer "PORTS (COM & LPT) in Device Manager as a category to expand and view the status of the different PORTS.  This feature appeared, but now does not work.  Traffic on the previous question is of no help.  Brand-new thougts?

    Hi John,.

Thanks for posting your question on the forum of the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

    1. have you done any hardware or software changes to your computer?
    2. What is the brand and model of your computer?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:
Please follow these steps to display hidden devices.

    a. Click Start and type cmd in the start search box.

    b. right click on cmd and select run as administrator.

    c. in the command prompt window, type the following command and press ENTER.

    Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1

    d. type the following command at the command prompt and press ENTER.

    Start devmgmt.msc

This action opens the Device Manager. Now you can check if the device appears in Device Manager.

If this does not help, then use method 2.

    Method 2:
Check in the BIOS (embedded devices) if the COM ports are enabled and set to "auto".

Note: Change to the BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

Then, if the problem persists, use method 3.

    Method 3:
Please install the driver manually and check.
    Refer to this article:

    I hope this information helps.

  • HP Envy 15 t-3200-dvd player does not, code 19

Hi, I just signed up get this question. I'm 15, I had a year ago, but the dvd - rom drive does not work.  Whenever I inserted a dvd, the drive would go, but it would not be displayed in the Explorer. I went to Device Manager and it says that the registry is incomplete or damaged (code 19). I can't find the driver on the hp support forums, but couldn't find the driver, the model of the drive is a "hp DVDRAM GS30N". Any help?

    Hello

Try to follow the procedure at the title of the subheading "Let fix me it myself" (to half way down the page) on the link below to delete the upper and lower filters and see if that helps the issue.

  • My CD-ROM device driver does not (code 39). This happened after I restarted while trying to load Norton Antivirus on CD.

I have a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH10 ATA Device of DVD and also a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GE20LU10 USB device on my Windows Vista desktop - system.

After the restart during installation of Norton Antivirus on CD, the ATA device failed to recognize the CD and Device Manager showed that the device driver for the two devices CD-ROM (System32\Drivers\cdrom.sys) was now not to load. (code 39). Device Manager indicates that it may be damaged or missing, but the driver is in place and date from 04/11/2009. Restart and try to upgrade the driver makes no difference, and he does not always load. All other device drivers work well.

    Kind regards

Try following the steps under "Windows 7 or Windows Vista" in the MS KB article:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/982116

These measures, to remove the UpperFilters and LowerFilters, values if they exist, in the registry key named can help.

Create a System Restore Point beforehand and restart the computer later.

    Hello Daniel,.

The drivers that we post do not pay attention to the flavor of Windows 7 you are using.

They work in all versions (home premium, professional, ultimate).

Video drivers you are looking for are in the 7 64 Windows section you mentioned.

After updating Windows 8.1 don't work the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 port on the right side of the computer.

As my webcam, this one does not work too.

I tried to install drivers, uninstall and restart, I tried Windows 7 installing the driver in compatibility mode... nothing works... I bought a Toshiba since I thought is was a reliable brand...

    Don't think,.

It seems that Satellite C75-A-12D PSCE2E 04804UGR was already pre-installed with the 64-bit Windows 8.1 System.

I would recommend you to get the system to point in time early (before the MS updates was installed). In case this isn't possible, use the Toshiba HDD retrieve and set the operating system to factory settings.

Then make sure that the webcam, but also two USB ports.
In case everything would work properly, perform the updates of the system of Ms.

  • How to return to changes saved when the menu of 'come back' does not include the version of the document I'm looking for?

Hello, I use Pages. I worked on a document for several days, save the changes on the way. I have closed or saved the document and asked a question about saving the changes. I pressed on continue, thinking that I was saving my document. It seems that the computer has erased all changes I made since I finally opened the document. The document says he was created today, and none of the versions of my last week of work are available. I want to restore a version with all my important revisions. The menu 'Browse all' and 'Come back' do not have one of my newer versions. Is it possible to find?

It is important that you have all the hours of backups Time Machine on an external drive. If open the recent item and return to the menus avail you nothing...

Open a Finder window. In the search window, type the following line, replacing the date with the one that is relevant to the review date that seek you. The following explains show me all the documents pages that have been modified since the specified date. The same syntax works in the Spotlight window.

    modified: 15/12/15, genre: pages

    Also check iCloud drive.

If it does not find the file you are looking for and you don't have a Time Machine backup, you've learned an important lesson or two.

  • RV-320 Port Address Translation does not

    Hi all

I have a really weird question that drives me crazy.  I have a somewhat complex configuration that goes something like: access provider Internet by Modem cable ==> internal ==> ASA5505 ==> LAN router.  Have a few servers on the internal network, I want to be able to access from the outside.

Everything worked fine until I decided to trade in my old router 1841 for this RV router, because it has faster WAN interfaces and uses less energy.  Initial Setup was extremely easy.  Port Address Translation is enabled by default, my internal clients can get out of the 'net without problem.  But no matter what I try, I can't access internal servers.

I contacted the support of Cisco.  They spent about 2 hours on my machine and ultimately told me that the problem is with my ASA (it is no longer under warranty).  But still I can disconnect the RV and reconnect the 1841 (or a former 1605, I still have) and all begin to operate.

To prove or disprove the ASA being the culprit, I decided to test trying to open an SSH session to the SAA itself.  Should not be double-nat, as the ASA didn't need to pass this traffic to another internal peripheral.

Once I try a connection (and it fails), I check the log "inbound" on the RV he gets 3 hits, indicating 'successful connection '.

Details of the journal are strange.  It shows the port as Eth1 and port out Eth0.  Seems to me this should be reversed, as I use as my ISP port WAN1 and WAN2 for my network internal.

The IP Source address matches the external IP I use; lists correctly inside the ASA

Most confusing are the MAC addresses.  The MAC Source does not belong to everything that I have, I would say.  I checked all the interfaces on the RV, the ASA and my switches.  The MAC (00:12:d9:54:a7:63) shows that belonging to Cisco.  My cable modem is a Cisco device.  But it shows a completely different Mac.  It is a mystery.  Then address MAC of Destination solved the WAN1 on the RV is interface * that * correct?

Please tell me where I can go from here.  I can't believe that this device cannot successfully perform a translation of port address / redirect.

    Thank you!

    Brian

    Brian,

Sorry about the way it had to go on the creation of personalized services, I didn't it would fail to ports known. I'll see if I can find someone here who can give advice on the installation of the ASA, although this would be a good idea to post your questions and config in these forums.
