A WORD sheet? Do you mean a page of a document in Microsoft Word? If so, have you checked the help on this app or placed on the MS forums? If you don't want to say who, what do you mean?

    Hello

How can I import pictures from my Samsung smart phone to my computer so that I could see them in my slab of 'photos' in my startup screen?

    Hello

You can transfer photos from your Smartphone to your computer , BUT if you want to see the photo on your splash screen is another story.

    1. using the supplied cable (USB cable) to connect your phone (with Kies last) to your computer and you can transfer pictures to your computer by continuing the copy - paste and remember not where you keep these photos.

    2. now, if you want to 'tile' photos on your computer, try it please:

    (a) make a click right an empty space on your desktop (computer).

    (b) select Customize,

(((c) click on desktop background) lower part of the screen).

    d. click on browse and select the photos (place),.

    (e) by a click at all the pictures, that you want to display,

    (f) Slect "tile" position photo options

    (g) click on save changes.

  • PSE10 remove duplicate Photos

I'm running PSE10 on Win 7 and have ended up with a bit of a mess, I would like to clean.  My catalog has hundreds of duplicate photos.  Here are the pairs of elements that point to the same physical photo via a different path.  All follow the model of C:\Documents and Settings\chris\Mes Documents\... and C:\Users\Chris\Pictures...

I tried to use the search of pictures duplicate function, which does not identify the duplicates, but he also finds tons of false positives, photos that simply look the same but are not actual duplicates.  Sorting through this is not possible.

I might be able to identify the versions of My Documents by removing the shortcut to My Documents in the operating system and see what are the images must be reconnected.  However, my tags are all attached to the C:\Documents and Settings versions.

I'm looking for a good way to identify the actual pictures in the catalog, rather than simply similar duplicate.

The workflow I imagine is: identify duplicate photos | transfer tags in C:\Users version | Remove the version C:\My Documents.

    Someone at - it suggestions?

    Thank you

    Chris

PS I'll note that I'm experienced with databases and sql, by any chance, the catalog is really a sqlite database simple that I can handle.

At this point, it seems that my work has been successful.  The catalog works well, all my pictures seem to be intact, duplicates are gone and there seems to be no other reference to c:\My Documents... in the catalog.

I'm not going to post all my questions here unless someone wants them, because it would be a long and technically complex assignment.

However, I have another question: what is the purpose of the media_stack_sort_table and the version_stack_sort_table?  These two have a media_id column that refers to the media_table elements do not exist.  My operations probably added additional entries pointing to missing items, but without knowing what to do tables, it is difficult to know if this is important.

    Thanks for your help!

PS Integrity_check PRAGMA turned up nothing of interest.

  • Toshiba 46TL938: 3D playback choppy when PC to TV via HDMI

    Hello

I have a very specific problem and cannot identify exactly what the problem maybe. In short:

-J' have a 3D film which is read by VLC but also KMplayer.
-On my monitor 23 "1080 p via HDMI, the film plays well enough and smooth.
-On my Toshiba 46 "HDTV playback on 3D sometimes accused, exactly the same thing when a computer cannot handle the load and the shifts on video playback.
-J' tried to put the film on a USB and connect it to the TV. Then playback of 3D on the TV was really smooth without any lag.

If the facts are executives work well on a HD 23 "(playedback with VLC and KMplayer) monitor, but also run smooth on my laptops screen."
Fact is also that the same movie plays smooth a Flash USB plugged into the TV.

I tried with another movie (no 3D) listen to from my laptop via HDMI on my TV. This worked pretty well without any lag.

    (1) so my main question is if the movie is not correct, why play it right back via a USB, but not through my laptop.

    (2) in addition, if my computers vga portable would be unable to handle the 1080, I guess that reading also lag on my monitor 23 "which is also 1080.

I have really no idea if it's the movie, TV or vga that has the problem.
    Any suggestion would be great.

    Thank you in advance.

    TV: Toshiba 46TL938
Notebook: Xi of Fujitsu Amilo 2528

    Hello

I put t thinks that his TV show.
First of all using USB flash memory, the movie is managed by Toshiba media player and second the data does not need to be send via cable.

The notebook movie streaming, you send the signal to the TV via an HDMI cable. 3D movies contains a lot of data and this could affect the playback quality streaming of data from one device to another.

So if you have seen some interruptions during playback, it could be linked to the HDMI cable.
If your HDMI connection is capable of 1080 p and/or your TV is capable of greater than 50 Hz refresh rate, need you a cable of category 2. Conventional HDMI/DVI cable may not work properly with this model. Also try a short cable (1.5 to 2 m)

You should also consult the user manual * 88.* page
The HDMI on the TV inputs accept the VGA, SVGA, XGA, WXGA and SXGA signal formats that are
as shown in table _page 88_ VESA-compatible.

Since some PC and HDMI or DVI input signals of devices which differ of the resolution and frequency that are described in the table, the following phenomenon can happen; _incorrect display, detection of fake format, failure of position photo, blur or judder_.

In this case, set the monitor output on your PC, HDMI or DVI device to conform to a signal in the table you will find in the user manual.

  • Cannot change the settings of my wallpaper! (it is extensible, Center, adapt)

    Hello

It is a minor problem compared to many, I'm sure, but I'm used to be able to have this kind of control over my desk and it drives me crazy! Can I change my wallpaper to any image that I love, but no matter what the proportions of the picture that I chose, it appears as "stretch" to adapt to the size of the screen. When I try to change the image of all other options, such as Center, tile, or fit, nothing changes. (Yes, I'm clicking on the 'Save Changes' button.) I restarted the computer, doing research on the internet, but nobody else seems to have this problem.

This problem exists on my brand new laptop since day one, so I don't think it's a problem with conflict with the pilots of other programs. But it sounds (to myself for the most part uneducated) like a driver problem. If it OF a driver problem, can someone tell me specifically that drivers must be re-installed or updated? Thank you!

    Hello

You are using an HP laptop?

If so, please see the solution (with the permission of SharonMary):

    Method step by step:

    1. go to http://www.hp.com/#Support

2 Select software button step 1 and download drivers

    3. under Step 2, enter your product name (e.g. pavilion 2022... be very careful because I do not know the precise model is important.)

    4. click on the link corresponding to your model of PC

    5. choose the Windows 7 operating system (assume that you will be 32-bit)

6 scroll the list Select software and drivers and choose Activator position photo Wallpaper

    > If you do not find the name of your product in 3. over here, you can run the sp45575.exe fix:

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp45501-46000/sp45575.exe

It seems to work for others who have not been able to locate the "facilitator of photo wallpaper" by following the instructions above.

    > If running that you're afraid of a blind exe file, you can read about the sp45575.exe here:

  • How do you control the position and size of the images, IE. photo to the printer?

    HP Officejet 8600

    Windows XP

I'm trying to figure out how to control the position and the size of the photos or photos that are included in an email that I send to my printer via HP ePrint.

Hello. The process that I mentioned using Word provided that if we were send emails to the printer from a computer. If you just transfer emails from the iPhone to the printer there is no option to control the position of the jpg print. This isn't something that can be handled right now on ePrint.  The attachment will be printed on a separate page. The body of the email will be printed separately of the spare part.

  • Position of the mouse on the photo

I use an image control with the mouse to the bottom/mouse move event detection. With the 'Mouse' for the image control property, I can tell the relative position of the cursor of the mouse on the photo. My problem is that the image control has scroll bars, and even clicks/movements on the scroll bars triggers events! Is there a practical way to determine if the mouse is on the scroll bars or the actual image?

OK, I found a solution much simpler. You don't need to 'measure' the toolbars; the DrawAreaSize of the images property returns the surface drawable, excluding toolbars. The attached extract check if you're on the scroll bars

  • The help of tripod and photos are slightly in different positions

    Hello world

I worked with a Canon 60 d and a Canon 18-135mm. When I need inside photography and need different exposures, I measure the light into different areas and put my camera on a tripod, to the point where I want to turn off the autofocus. I take a picture, then I only change the speed and take the second. I don't know why, but the second picture is a little different, just a few milimiters changed relatively to the first position in the photo. I'm doing something wrong? I've been Googling it but found nothing. This goal is 4 years old. Is it possible that is due to the wear of the lens?

Try to use a remote shutter release and use "exposure bracketing" the camera so you don't have to touch the camera between shots.

  • Image reverses from positive to negative when printing from Windows Photo Gallery

When I try to print directly from the photo gallery in the overview page positive image flashes until shortly before the reversal to the negative and I see nothing in the preferences of the printer (Canon iP4500) to remedy this.

The effect occurs only on jpg that were downloaded from my own camera - other jpg is OK.

I have no problem with the same images when printing in Photoshop.

    Hi bigfritz,

Welcome to the Microsoft answers community site.

Different types of devices tend to possess the capabilities and features of different color. Displays, for example, cannot show the same color scheme that can reproduce a printer. It is because of the fundamentally different processes that each device used to produce color content. Scanners and cameras have different color characteristics. Even different programs sometimes interpret and process colors differently. Without a consistent color management system, the same image can look different on each of these devices. The appearance of the content of the color depends also on the viewing conditions (for example, ambient lighting). This is because the human eye adapts differently to different conditions, even when you view the same image.

Thus, the color management manages relationships within color content so that an acceptable appearance can be achieved on different devices with different color and in conditions of display capabilities. This requires color management systems to control the relationship between the characteristics of the device and viewing conditions to produce acceptable results.

Color profiles are usually added automatically during the installation of new devices. Color profiles can also be added by color management tools, such as devices of calibration for the monitors. As a result, it is likely that there are already profiles for your devices.

However, if you need to install a new profile, follow these steps:

1: open management the colors by clicking on the Start button, clicking Control Panel, hardware and sound, and then clicking color management.
2: click on the devices tab.
3: in the list of devices, select the color device that you want to associate with one or more color profiles.
4: select the use my settings for this device check box, and then click Add.
5: you should see a Source to sRGB space. In the print profile you must now select the barrel profile that fits the study. You should see these choices for Canon paper.

    Canon IP4500 series GL2
    Canon IP4500 series GL3
    Canon IP4500 series MP2
    Canon IP4500 series PR1
    Canon IP4500 series PR2
    Canon IP4500 series PR3
    Canon IP4500 series SP2
    Canon IP4500 series SP3

6: these correspond to specific types of paper Canon - PR > GL, Pro Photo paper > iced, MP > Matte
7: then go in / intensity of the color and choose the manual Option. Click on Set and in respect of the Correction colors choose None.

For more information, see Color settings management: frequently asked questions

Let me know if it works. Good luck!

    Hope this information is useful.

    Thank you and best regards,

  • How to set text and photo cell sizes and their positions in ledger?

I'm migrating from Aperture to Lightroom for creating book.  In Aperture, I can add, size and position the text and photo boxes to go.  How does this in Lightroom?

"at will" is not possible in the book LR module.

There are many models of pages (~ 180) that you can choose from.

The photo 'Cells' on the page templates can be resized, but only smaller, by changing the cell "Padding".

For "at will" design of page (for example, collage, borders fantasies, etc.) you will need create the page images in Photoshop or the LR print module and use as images 'full page' in the book.
