Positioned on the new host, iPhone deleted old emails - where are they?

Recently a company I work with just changed hosts. When they did, the new e-mail was similar to the old access (POP), to try to make the process as transparent as possible. After the servers updated, however, my iPhone seems to have removed all the old read the emails that have been downloaded on my device. Where are they now?

You ask your personal COMPUTER or the new host?

  • All IT gurus out there who know Firefox... have lost the passwords saved when FF created a new profile and delete old files key3.dbf and logins.json profile.

All IT gurus out there who know Firefox... have lost the passwords saved when FF created a new profile and delete old files key3.dbf and logins.json profile. Any ideas, anyone?

    So it's not a logins.json file?

I see a signons3.txt file and a file signons.sqlite older, if you can try to see if you can import passwords stored in this file.

You can force Firefox to re-import the passwords in the file signons.sqlite and regenerate the file logins.json with the following steps:

    • reset the signon.importedFromSqlite pref on the topic: config page by default via the context menu
    • Delete the logins.json file in the closed Firefox with Firefox profile folder

When you restart Firefox, then you should have the pref signon.importedFromSqlite with the value set to true.
You have passwords that are imported in the password manager, unless there were errors or signons.sqlite signons3.txt.

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

I don't see a place or a way to delete old email addresses of people who have new email addresses.

Firefox send an e-mail, it's strictly a web browser.

If you use Firefox to access your e-mail, you use "webmail". You must seek assistance from your service provider or a forum for this service.

  • Replacement of host existing with the new host/material

We are trying to replace our old 5.0 ESXi hosts that cannot be upgraded to ESXi 5.1 with new hardware that will support ESXi 5.1 and beyond.  Existing hosts are members of a cluster of vCenter vCenter has been updated to the latest version  We are preinstalled ESXi 5.1 on new hosts and tried to set them up according to the configurations of existing hosts, except for host names and network IPs management.

First of all, are we on track to replace existing hosts?

Second, what are the next steps we would take?

We have read the various messages that seem to follow the steps below, but want to ensure that our incense are applied correctly, we don't miss any major or minor measures, for iSCSI, reusing names existing ESXi hosts and IPs or something else causing the replacement to fail.

    1. the vMotion VMs to host existing to another host

    2. remove the existing host to vCenter

    3. stop the existing host

    4. turn on the new host

    5. Add the new host to vCenter cluster

    6. apply the configuration changes

    7. the vMotion VMs to new host

    8. follow the same steps in the next new host

    We lose all the steps?

    Hello

Moved site to a new host, and the SSI is does not load correctly. I copied the complete site for the new host, and I'm sure everything is copied across. I had no problem at all, configuration, and use of SSI on the old host. According to the cpanel, in Apache handlers, SSI is enabled on the new host. Only the name servers point to the former host still, until I can get the new one works fine.

"I used DW to create the code originally, like <!--virtual="/ssi/rhs.html #include "-->

where ssi is the folder that contains the two include files.

New hosted site is here http://ans25.midphase.com/~saacpar0/

Old site with SSI work is here http://www.saac.com.au/

Can anyone help on this please?

    Thank you Alan and Murray.

    Hello

Try to rename the log file to roll forward online to the desired path on the destination server, and then open with resetlogs.

    SQL > alter database file rename ' G:\APP\ORADATA\HOOP\REDO01. JOURNAL "to"";

  • Problems with the new host VMware ESXi 5.0

We have a dell blade chassis, with 4 710 blades and 8 610 the 710's have 12 network cards and the 610's have only 6 network adapters. I added a new host on one of the 610's and two network adapters in each of the networks belonging to virtual infrastructure. 1 mgmt 2. ISCSI 3. vmnetwork

My problem is that the new host can see all the resources but I can't move the VM from the hosts to the host 610 710. I get an error because nic 2 on the 710 host is not in the same network as nic 2 on the 610. It seems silly that I wouldn't be able to do that just because the hardware is not identicle.

I have three vswitches, vswitch0 for management, vswitch1 for the iSCSI network of shared storage, vswitch2 for the network of the vm.

    Thanks for any help.

Material is not identical not should not have an impact.

The vSwitch port group to which are connected the NICs in question is named identically on both hosts?  If they have a different name, vSphere considers different networks.

  • VCenter upgrade 2.5 - 4.1 and move to the new host

Hi all. Sorry for my ignorance but I'm completely new to vmware. I picked up a client who curently ESX 3.5 and Vcenter 2.5 running on Server 2003. I want to move it to a new host of 2008 and updated server to Vcenter 4.1. I've read some suggestions that a clean install would be better vs an upgrade. I'm really looking for the fastest solution that will allow me to manage the virtual machine in the new host of 2008 with vCenter 4.1. Please give me a few pointers (possibly hand holding ) on this process. Thank you!

I'm not a DBA, but take a look here: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/7960893

Also, take a look at the Data Migration tool...

  • Installed the new host of the cluster issue

I have currently two hosts that are in a cluster - I installed a new esxi server to add to this cluster.

1 set up the vswitch for grouping etc... as the other guests

    2. cannot see other data stores.

You are using an iSCSI device, I guess?  ESX material for the new host is right for the existing hardware?  If you want to disable the unused adapters, which must be done in the BIOS.

  • connecting the new host of vmfs - what could go wrong?

I just set up a new server ESXi 4.1, and I want to assign a logical unit number that contains a VMFS (v3.33) data store used by 4 ESXi 4.0 hosts.  I did this procedure several times before (no thanks to the combination of versions of the host, though), but I still get nervous.

Is there a chance that something bad could happen to my data store when I connect the new host to it, or it's just my OCD Act?

If you follow the above instructions to Dave, you have nothing to fear - if you take the right approach by being very careful with storage issues.

Changes in versions should make no difference at all, as long as lon as all the ESX host attached to storage support the version of the data that store connect you.

Good luck - and don't stress!

  • VMs in transition to the new host - host license expiration problem

I have a fully licensed host ESX 3 (+ VC with license server Foundation) and I'm in the process of setting up 2 x ESX 3.5 and hosts SAN new to replace the one 3.02.

I have not quite allowed to have all 3 of the hosts running at the same time.

I was evaluating esx 3.5 on the hosts, but they are now expired and I don't have the chance to test VCB.  (had held by other issues and a holiday in the middle)

I don't want to redo a straight change in case there are problems with the virtual machines on the new host, so I had to migrate virtual machines one or two at a time. (which is also a pain as the 2 x host ESX 3.5 of assessment will not add to the virtual Center due to licensing)

Other that reinstall ESX 3.5 to get another 60 days (and having to reconfigure ISCSI etc) is there a better way to do it?

Reinstall everything 3.5 host for a new evaluation period.
