possible replace audio realtek card?

pavilloin HP Slimline s5610y desktop windows 7 64 bit PC

I would like to know if I can replace the sound card realtek with another if so what slot type I look?

Hello:

If you can find one that fits, you need a sound card PCIe X 1, low-profile with an extra flat mounting bracket.

Which could be mounted in one of these two small parallel black slits at the bottom of the motherboard in the image below.

For example, these are low-profile and come with a flat mounting bracket.

The problem that has really started to check me is the graphics card, Nvidia Go 7600, it slow, Nvidia do not support updated drivers (laim).

    Hello

Replacing a graphics card on laptops is not possible because it is part of the motherboard. For example: by faulty graphics card, the entire motherboard must be exchanged.

Sorry but there is nothing to do.

No, it is not possible given that the graphics chips more are part of the motherboard.

  • Is satellite A200 - possible to replace the grapchics card?

    Hello!

I've had my Toshiba A200 - 1 M 8 for two years now and everything was going well until one day, while working on this subject, it is just went down. The arrested LEDs had any, even when not connected to the power supply and the laptop wouldn't start. I checked the habit - power cable bad, trying to see if the leds are gone or the laptop start with and without the battery in. Then I checked if all the cables are connected to the mother board the right way - they were. Know a little of material and to be a student of applied computer science, I thought that the problem was probably with the motherboard or something related to it.

So, an I unplugged devices connected to the motherboard to see if this allows the flow of power through the Commission. Long story short, it turned out that when I disconnected the graphics card (radeon HD2600 256 MB) the LEDs showed once again, and of course, the laptop started, but only a sound signal once or twice, which is normal when there are essential, as the map, missing. After a further inspection, I found that two blocks of memory on the card have burned completely, which explains why it did not work.

So now, here's my question: 1. is it possible to buy a replacement directly from Toshiba? If not, how can I specify what I seek, when searching through stores online and how can I check if it would be compatible with my laptop? 2. If it is possible to replace the card, it would be possible to replace with a better model (like hd3470), this means that my laptop would be able to manage the best card and is it still possible to find a better card, mounting my laptop (physically, I mean, it's pretty tight in there: P)?

Thanks for any helpful answer in advance, if more information is needed to answer my questions, I would be happy to provide it.

    Hello

    (1) an authorized service provider can replace the VGA card to you, directly from Toshiba. There is a list of the ASP on the Toshiba site, in the support section.

    (2) Unfortunately, you cannot upgrade the VGA card in most laptops because there is no common standard model, the BIOS is coded to work with a specific VGA card and the cooling system is designed for the dissipation of the heat of this VGA card.

  • Is possible to extend the graphics memory or replace the graphics card on the Satellite P10 504

Anyone know if it is possible to extend the video memory on the satellite p10 504, or to replace the video card. Because the memory is too small to play most of the good games.

    Hello

Unfortunately, it is not possible to increase the graphics memory or replace the graphics card on the laptop computers of s.
Please don t compare cell phone technology with the desktop simply.
Laptops use other motherboards and graphics cards are mostly welded on the boards!

    Nothing to do, buddy

I wouldn't buy a laptop if you want to play the latest games! Why? Because of the possibilities of upgrading equipment.
The desktop PC can be upgraded very easily but not the laptop

  • Replace the video card and audio lost

    I have a HP m7350n desktop under WinXP SP2

    The plug: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00585745

I replaced the video card (original) with a Gigabyte GT 440

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16814125366

The new vid card also demanded a new power supply, so I replaced the original power supply with a Cooler Master GX 450

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16817171060

When I restarted the computer, I noticed that I had more sound. Not sure if it was important, but even after that I downloaded the latest drivers for the new video card, there is still no sound.

In the status bar system (or what is called the lower right view), I have more small icons for audio that I used to see.

If I run dxdiag and click on the "Sound" tab, everything is white with the error 'no sound card found.  If one must, you must install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer. »

The audio jacks are NOT part of either the old or new video card, so I think that the new video card should not cause this.

Could I have missed feed somewhere during the exchange of food? If I remember, I have provided to:

    -2 CD/DVD drives

    -The expansion slot empty

    -The hard drive

-A long connection on the motherboard (it was like 12 x 2 pins)

    -A small connection square to motherboard (2 x 2-pin)

Any suggestions on what I can is dead wrong, or what I need to check? I am a novice at this stuff, so it could very well be something stupid.

Also, I suppose, it does not matter, but I also added memory 2x1GB sticks in the empty slots (who does not see the PC, but that's a separate post)

    Thanks for the pointers

    Hello:

I see an HDMI port on the map output...

Why what happened?  The answer is that your video card has HDMI that requires a separate HDMI audio chip on the video card. So yes, your videocard DID cause it happens because the PC has picked up map video, disabled the car video (if you have an onboard video) and also disabled the audio system integrated, take on it for audio HDMI on the video card.

The solution is simple, but almost no one knows about it, so I wouldn't say it's something stupid...

Go into your BIOS. Looking for an embedded audio setting. It will be either disabled or Auto. Change the setting on " Enabled".  Save the setting here where you made the change, and again when you exit the BIOS.

When the PC restarts your integrated sound card needs to be restored, and you will also have the use of your audio HDMI when you plug an HDMI cable to your TV.

Next option is to unplug and then plug back in, but is it possible? If it is separate would rather just replace the card. Thanks for any help.

    Chase

From your description of the error, this really sounds like a malfunction of the GPU (graphics processing unit).
Unfortunately, it is a serious offense and if a replacement of material you will not be able to fix this :(

It is a case value because you can not only replace the graphics card. You need to replace the whole motherboard because the GPU is soldered on the Board and cannot be removed easily.

There is nothing to my buddy.
Seems that you need to contact a support technician.

    Good luck

  • Can Qosmio G50 - I replace the graphics card?

    Jin

I would like to know if it is possible to replace the graphics card in the default value of G50 (9600gt) with a better (for example 9800gt).
Thank you for your help and information.

I am dissatisfied with the performance of default graphics card. Is there another way to improve performance?

    Hello

I m wondering really that you are not satisfied with the performance of the 9600M GT graphics card. What games do you play?

Friend of me has the same graphics card in his notebook and it can play all the games. For a laptop, the 3D performance are really good I must say. :)

About the graphics card update I can recommend this:

I need to replace my wireless card with a new one.
I need also to improve performance.
If you know if I can install any brand of mini-pci?
Some of you has already replaced his wlan?
In fact my wlan stock L650-116 is a RealTek RTL8191SE.

    I saw an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 2 x 2 AC + BT HMC but I don't know if it'll work.
Is there any brand I can't use for compatibility reason?

Blutooth is not essential. What I need, it's better than my transfer 150Mbps.

    Thanks for the help.
    Donato

Problem is that updated WLAN card is not supported, so there is no info on the compatibility of the WLAN cards. You can try to contact Toshiba service nearest and ask for help, but I'm afraid that you will get the same answer.

The simplest solution for you is to get the little USB WLAN stick. They are small and do not disturb. Installation and configuration is very simple so, in my opinion, this is the best solution for you.

    Hi samuniv,

As you can read in 100 other threads, it of not possible to replace the graphics card because it s fixed/soldered to the motherboard. Therefore, an Exchange is not possible.

No, the replacement of a graphics card or the upgrade is not possible.
