possible volume envelopes in multitrack mode?

I saw this question fits a bit in search of forum, but don't really see obvious answer or says:

Waveform display is the only way to apply the work environment of the precision volume envelope track it seems like a no-brainer for me - it is true that a novice - there should be some way bland do not destructive work middle track, i.e. envelopes volume... more fundamentally it I'm trying to do, is to have a song fade out while some arrives a spoken word track , then keep the volume of the consistent piece in the spoken language, and then have it go up to 100 percent of volume when the song end. I tried it through razor tools but still cannot perform transitions smooth volume in this way.

If you'd be grateful if someone could indicate some specific instructions on how to do it. It seems that it would be too tedious to do all the work in wave form.

Thank you

Quin

Well Yes.   Quite easy... it's kind of the ' bread and butter ' of multitrack work.

First of all, in 'View' make sure there is a checkmark beside "Show Clip Volume envelopes.  You can also select envelopes for the functions Pan and effects in the same menu.  The usual default is for all these, but you'd better check.

To use envelopes, find a thin yellow line about 2/3 of the way to the top of the screen of each waveform in multitrack view.  It is the volume control.  If you left click on it and you hold, you can drag the top line down to set a global level.  Use the "Move" tool to do... If you zoom out on a track, it can be difficult to see when the point is on the line, but, when you're in the right place, a box saying "Volume" will pop up.

However, the most interesting is their use to make changes on the fly.  To cela a simple click on the line about where you want the change of level to start.  This will give you a little yellow marker on the line of the envelope.  Click again on a little later for a second marker.  Click and hold on the marker and you can drag it upwards and up to levels of change..., you can also drag left and right to change the points of beginning/end/length of the fade.  You can also drop markers multiple if you want to change the ballistics of the level change... start and end quickly or whatever.

Note that you can use the same technique to change the settings of the tray or how much effect is on a track.

  • Deamplifies Audio multitrack mode? Solution?

    I am running hearing CS6 on my iMac 27 "3.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 with 16 GB of RAM, again with OS X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion. When I open the files in multitrack mode, they lose 2 or decibels in volume, and while this is not much, I'm afraid that increase the gain will be to distort rather than solve the problem. Why is this happening? Can it be prevented? Increase the gain in this case will distort audio or would I just ' put it back to normal?

    I am new to this program, sorry if I'm coming off as a novice. I am train to merge and recut two audio files that were originally a single file. The original is nowhere to be found. For my final result, I need to edit the source files, not to create new files. I still need to meet up with two files. Unfortunately, the change of the source files is difficult because I can't apply the same fade-chained (on a cosine curve) without them mashed together in multitrack mode. In single track mode, the curves are available in linear mode because it seems that I can't change the default value. The Cup at the end and at the beginning of the two files respectively is not completely clean, but the transition works well. The volume is low, however, and I can't apply the crossfade between source files. What can I do? The files must overlap a little, but the cut end should be relatively in the same place, as he was always listening to it. I need to be able to have the set of files one after the other in full transparency, which actually watch as I still have the original files 'two' with one cup transparent, they appear uneditied. They must resist a review of even the best audio engineers. Since I am morphing the two files to edit, the best result, I came up with this day extends the cutting of the first file very slightly and reduced the cut of the second file as well (it is acceptable), but the merger requires a new haircut after the fades chained with all changes recorded in the source files to the same exact volume levels. It's pretty important. If I could get to the less solved the problem of volume, I think that I would be good. Please help, I'll try to do a better job explaining if anyone has questions. If you import files into multitrack hearing discovered in a 32-bit session, then it is not really important - you will not be able to override whatever it is, whatever you do. It is because it is running in Floating Point mode, and it will take care of issues scale completely. The explanation of this is quite long and complicated - basically, if you just have to assume that it is a kind of black magic, and this is just works... So even if you increase the signals so that your final mix looks like a clump of green, it can be restored to normal just by using the effect of "Normalizing" waveform.

    Strictly speaking, what happens is that when you open a file in multitrack view, everything happening it is him, it is that it is played by a good player and it is the result of reading this who you listen to, and who appears to be lower in volume - mainly because it's! It is actually 3 dB lower and all that you would have to is to increase the fader master of 3 dB in the mixer, and you'd be back to where you started anyway.

  • is it possible to hide the movieClip mode webgl?

    Hello

    Is it possible to hide the movieClip mode webgl? Other libraries webgl as pixijs have this possibility.

    I also watch the video of the introduction of lively cc (the future of WebGL with Adobe animate & AwayJS |) SkillsCast | February 9, 2016) where the presenter talks about it.

    I looked at the part where the masking has failed. He had the AwayJS FLA when converting to another file format. Or he had a bug in their custom in time file format.

    The SADF 2D masks WebGL always seems to be disabled. But I just bought the AwayJS add-on, and whatever the problem was in his demonstration, he seems to be fixed, masking works.

  • Move the playback cursor of mouse in multitrack mode click

    Hey guys, I'm on hearing for the first time and I had a question about moving the playhead in multitrack mode.

    So I'm used to pro tools where you click in the clip where you want to be the read head and the playhead moves just here.  I think hearing that in order to clickMove the read head in this way, I have to make it to the top in the timeline panel, rather than directly on the clip.  It becomes quite annoying to have to move the cursor of the mouse completely to the top of the screen whenever I want to make a montage.  Y at - it a hotkey or setting I'm missing here?  I tried clicking with normal combos... ctrl + click, alt + click, shift + click and with the more complex combos ctrl + alt + click, ctrl + shift + click, etc.

    Ago got to be a way to do this, I'm sure it's something that I haven't found yet.

    Thank you very much for your help!

    If you use the time selection tool (I have the beam icon) rather that the default move tool you can locate the cursor of the playback head where you want by clicking anywhere on your tracks. It also makes it easier to select portions of clips for editing. You will then need to right-click to move although any audio device.

  • Audition CS5.5 - how more than 100% in the Volume envelope

    So I'll try to do a simple amplify the envelope, to the soft louden and soothe and envelope only I can find is the Volume envelope. But when I try to use it, the maximum volume is 100%, which is the original volume. The only tool I can find to make it really louder is Amplify, which is just the entire greater selection in decibels, with no curvature of volume. I want to just gently lift the volume of 100% to something close to 500% and then let it gently down to 100%.

    How to handle this?

    OK, good to know. I guess that's boring, but to avoid clipping limit fixed, instead I applied envelope Volume, standardized it, applied another envelope, standardized it even once, applied a third envelope and finally normalized, and it seemed to work - thus avoiding loss of data when too quiet (which probably would not be arriving too early) ", but still...) and also to avoid cuts.

    Apparently, since Adobe CS5.5 cannot increase the volume with an envelope, this is the best alternative.

  • Multi-track, audio in the window muffles when it reaches a volume envelope.

    .. .and what is happening with this?  I'm under Audition 1.0 on a Windows XP computer with a soundcard Lynx.  It's a new development.  When the audio reaches the point where the envelope of volume changes, the audio cuts out and not coming back, even if the volume is returned to the unit.  But he's going to mix properly, with the volume changes made.  It's just not possible to hear before mixing down, which doesn't help, of course.  I increased virtual memory.  Anyone have any ideas?  I thank in advance for your help.

    Don't know if this will help...  Try changing the settings of multi-track preview/playback (press F4).  If the read buffer is too large or too small, you might get dropouts...

    Also, try to defragment the hard drive with virtual memory disabled.  With VM off it may run slowly, but it must defragment the swap file, thus making your optimized super drive. You may have to start in safe mode so that it works well...  Of course, you can activate the virtual machine on when you're done...

    Clean dust from the computer and make sure it is not over heating...?

  • With the help of the volume envelope of the clip to amplify rather than mitigate them

    Hello world

    I tried to modify the envelope of volume of a clip in multitrack view, and I realized that the envelope volume really only allows of * mitigate * the volume of a clip throughout its duration, not * amplify * it. In other words, you can only add points on the envelope that are * sub * la + 0 dB line, which reduces the volume of so - many dB.

    Is there a way also vary the volume of a clip in the other direction, that is to amplify, in multitrack view?

    Thanks a lot for your suggestions!

    Probably because it's the limit defined by Adobe for this operation. If you need more than that, then probably you increase permanently the level of the file in the editing view.

    It seems, however, a workaround solution. If you have resized the clip to the maximum envelope, you right click and open the properties of the Clip, you will see that hearing has set the Volume of the Clip on the max of + 15dB. If you reset the fader on the 0 level, you can then go and resize the envelopes again. This can allow you to get the gain, you need. But, as mentioned above, if your levels are too low, in the first place, I would increase the level of the file permanently in the edit view.

  • Is it possible to reactivate Qosmio G10 mode standby with Skype call?

    I would like to know if it is possible (and how) to use my Qosmio G10 as a phone with videoconferencing as easy as with a normal phone, I mean how to leave the laptop to low-power mode and let Skype awake it automatically and directly ring when you receive a call.

    I use it without problem when the laptop is not in a sleep mode, but if someone calls when the laptop is in low-power mode, so it does not ring. of course, I don't want to leave a fashion of maximum energy all the time...

    Anyone know a solution? I guess it happens this way because in mode low energy, wi - fi seems to order, because when my computer wakes, then it displays a message saying that 'now he is connected.

    Hi Bea

    Your idea is very interesting but unfortunately I don't think it's possible.
    Activation of the sleep or Hibernate mode is not possible with Skype or other IP phone application because this function must be supported by the BIOS.

    But the BIOS doesn't support something like that

  • How exactly key in the changes in the volume envelope?

    I zoom in as close as I can with maximum track height, hold down the command key and the mouse on the line of the envelope.  I try to get to the + 4db, but can't get + or + 4.1 db 3.9.  Sometimes, I am able to get it's accurate, but it is not totally reliable.  Is it possible to enter the value?  Sort of make it more specific, or is it just a limitation of hearing?

    I think that you you can position more accurately if you hold down the CTRL key while you move the mouse.

  • Is it possible to work in a mode of RGB (X1R5G6B5) 16bpp color?

    I created graphics that need to be in this format. I use PS to export in the proper format by saving in BMP and selecting the format in the advanced options.

    I would prefer, however, to work in this mode of color from the beginning. It would produce cleaner gradients, for example. Clearly there is not a color mode for this option, but I wonder if I can limit the color palette to this space.

    What are my options here?

    No, it is only possible to export to this kind of format after you have created the image (and only a few file formats support such a mode, such as BMP).

    If you know the mathematics, you can make yourself the quantification using the posterize adjustment and adding some noise is necessary for smooth gradients.

  • Gateway for Informix: is it possible to issue a "lock mode Set to wait < n >".

    Hi people,

    As the subject says, is it possible to issue this statement? We have some errors "Could not do a physical order read to fetch the row", and one of the suggestions was to issue the statement. We ran some stats on the database, we have set of table locking 'Row', the only other thing I can think of is to put the incorrect readings, and I don't want to do that.

    You can try putting the set command in a passthough package:

    DECLARE
    Whole RET;
    entire c;

    BEGIN

    c: = DBMS_HS_PASSTHROUGH. OPEN_CURSOR@IFMX;
    DBMS_HS_PASSTHROUGH. Parse@IFMX (c, 'set lock mode wait 120');

    dbms_output.put_line (ret |) "passthrough output");
