POUVEZ, NOR-CAN1500, POUVEZ Labview drivers

Hello

I am currently using Labview 64 2015 on win 7 64 bit.

When loading NICAN1500.exe (CAN labview drivers) it forces me to load it in the Program Files (x 86) folder. LabVIEW is installed in Program Files (without x 86)

After loading it in x 86 drivers folder do not appear in the palettes.

I loaded twice. Force suggested install NI of CMD did that and still forces me to load it into the x 86 folder.

Help please.

BR,

Florence

Well well, according to the white paper of OR you can use their drivers CAN on 32-bit LabVIEW only. The drivers themselves are 32-bit... It can run on 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7, but the version of LabVIEW is limited to 32 bits if you plan to use CAN.

I'm sorry.

    Hello jg-code.

XP Embedded is not a supported operating system to run LabVIEW or the DSC Module development environment.  This does not mean that it won't work, only that we do not guarantee that it will work.  One of the reasons is that XP Embedded can be transformed into any variety of facilities.  The following link can provide useful information.

  • Support of NOR-DNET for LabVIEW 2013

We currently use OR DNET 1.6.6 with LabVIEW 2011. I installed LabVIEW 2013 now also on my computer and tried to synchronize all of the drivers with my installation of LabVIEW 2011.

Well, it seems that NEITHER-DNET does not support LabVIEW 2013, at least officially. compatibility of Version of LabVIEW and NOR-DNET indicates that NEITHER-DNET 1.6.6 supports 2011 NOR-DNET 1.6.7 2012 LabVIEW and LabVIEW.

The list NOR system driver November 2013 set OR DNET 1.6.7 defined pilot. When I try to install it, there is no support for LabVIEW 2013.

My question is, if there is a plan to include support OR DNET for LabVIEW 2013 or later in the game to pilot?

I copied the directories vi.lib\DeviceNet and vi.lib\nidnet of LabVIEW 2011-2013 and I can load my programs without any problems. I always did not build an executable and does not run on the test set-up, but projects can be loaded in LabVIEW 2013 without any screws of brocken. should I expect any problems running LabVIEW 2013 with the NOR-DNET to 1.6.6 and 1.6.7 driver?

    Nick

There should not be problems but it is a former pilot, we will not be updated for the future version of labview.

  • To the installation of custom (my) Labview drivers created using system driver instruments LabView 8.2

I spent the day writing a driver for my new general i/o board for LabView using the creator of project pilot such Instrument indicated on the latest LabView tutorials. It works fine on my computer, even incorporated in the Panel 'Instrument i/o' on the toolbar. Really great.

But! This must obviously be something that I can publish on a Web site or email to people for them to install on * their * computers! I tried to use the configuration settings as described in another tutorial in order to produce a zip file, a source folder and a Setup program. However, none of these export options seems to produce a labview library that can be opened without nasty error message on the files being found. Of course, the files are present in the directory, but it is looking for them in the * original * folder instead of either the file installation or a folder in a directory from the file to the library. It's really quite absurd, so I guess I'm doing something wrong... but I can't find information on how to do this right. When I followed the instructions I can find, it does not at all.

What I * should * was that, if I created an installer, when an end user with LabView installed ran the installer it would integrate the new Instrument of e/s vi in their panel of LabView. But this does not happen. In addition, when you look in the installation directory (by default not the LabView directory), but a directory in Program Files/driver-name all the files are there. But if you open the library in the directory of the Volume, he complains about the vi being in the wrong place, then load them in the wrong place.

It seems clear that the behavior of the installer must be to put the appropriate files in the location where LabView research instrument drivers. That is not that this disturbs the bajeezus out of me. Can someone explain me or give me a link to the instructions how to accomplish this feat apparently obviously necessary? I can possibly download my driver to the network NOR, but I want to at least test it out first!

I've attached a zip file of the installation directory, which I do not understand in the runtime environment for reasons of size. I've also attached a zip file of the original directory. It won't work unless that place in the correct location in the folder of LabView. He probably has an older version of I've been using the build options.

I think I got this figured out, maybe, others may use the solution.

On the "Source Files" category in the specifications of construction for an installer, [LVDIR] represents the LabView installation directory. So, if you create the directory instr.lib under [LVDIR], you are installing in the root directory of the instr.lib. Then, create another folder named identically in your project source directory (so that it can find the files) and mark in the installation directory. On the side of the project view, open 'My computer', choose your lvlib on the left and your installation on the right directory and click on the right arrow between the two panes. This will create an installation directory structure in the correct location on the target.

  • Fluke Hydra 2625 with NI LabVIEW drivers: can not read the output data

I work with a Fluke Hydra data logger 2625 have downloaded the drivers from NI LabVIEW, crossed the config., initialize and modes files and now trying to read data from a thermocouple.

Initially, I was getting an error message ("17" I think) but now, after correcting the port numbers, the recorder data and LabVIEW seem to communicate without error. I would like to know where I should look (in the panels before different drivers) for temperature data output.

Any advice would be appreciated at this point. Thank you.

There is a driver not supported here. I have the instrument and you have not used one in quite a few years, but if using the example, the function can be set to temperature temperature with the 751 RTD or thermocouple. The results indicators min/max/last.

The pilot could really benefit from a full rewrite, but it seems that most of the basic functions are there.

  • Why the basis of NOR-DAQmx for LabVIEW options are grayed out using a custom installation (with Action: Skip)?

I try to install NOR-DAQmx Base 3.7.0 LabVIEW 2013 (LV is installed). When I try to install Standard, it does not settle for LabVIEW (only the tools common and C and USB), but gives a successful installation message.

I try this on a 2011 MacBook Air 11 '' running OS 10.9. LabVIEW works very well.

Try mass compiled file with the drivers.  If the drivers have been downloaded without the patterns of principle, then you will not be able to compile, because the source code is missing.

  • Installing LabVIEW drivers

    Hello

I just install a new driver pour food, only when I want to use the driver I am faced with this:

What is it linked to? What is an English installation problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello again,

In order to list the Subvi correctly in pallets, LabVIEW come retrieve the information for a menu file that should be located in each directory (*.mnu).

Is that in the directory IF-XX_LV8 + / IF - XX, there is a file with the extension *.mnu?

If so, its content does not match to the directory and VI and in this case a mark point appears. Feel free to edit your palette by using the utility provided with labVIEW to resynchronize the directory with the palette (Tools > advanced > edit the palette).

    Hi all:

I installed the driver NOR-DAQmx and Labview 2013 (Student Edition). I connected an acquisition of data NI USB-6008 and tested using NOR-DAQmx and that it works correctly.

Now, I tried to make registration of data of this device using the software Labview installed but as I open a new project and go to the block diagram and show the measure menu I can't NEITHER-DAQmx icon in the window (Menu) measurement in Labview 2013 (student Edition).

    Any suggestion?

    I enclose two screenshots.

    Thank you

In what order did you install software?

You must install LabVIEW first, followed by DeviceDrivers!

  • Search for device drivers in LabView

I try to install the device, via the Help menu of LabView drivers. I select the manufacturer and a key word, but I can't click ' search for > '. The button is grayed. What should I do to be able to click on this button?

As far as I know all the drivers, you can download through this screen, you can also get NI.com directly:

    Driver search page

It is a little less convenient that you must put yourself in the instr.lib folder and restart LabVIEW for them appears in the palettes, but it's better than no drivers at all.
