  Impress has worked great for the size of the slide at first, but the problem was that he messed up some of the PowerPoint slides.  The text is enlarged and displayed on top of the other texts.  And a few drawings and images were missing totally.  So I put Power Point on my computer.  I saved as .tiff files slides and they all have been imported in the form of file - much easier to impress for the import.  The slides look good, but when it is placed on the timeline, they are smaller with extra space on the top, bottom, left and right.  I want to make them as big as imported with Impress slides and have more space to the left and to the right.  Is there a way to do this?  Can it be done without loss of resolution on the slides?

  I want to create a quiz that randomly pulls a pool of questions.  I think I know how to do that (rightly), but when I do, the table of contents is only show (title "Slide") the name/title of the question slide to chance itself, which is not really give any useful information.  I wonder if there is a way to show rather the title of the question which is selected (and present) of the random question slide.  This, in my opinion, would be much more useful to users taking the quiz.  Is there a known way to get there?  Thank you!

  Lilybiri has already answered your question.  The table of contents only shows the name of the random Question slide and can't give you the name of the slide of the random quiz question slide that is picked up from the Question pool when running dynamically.

  Essentially the Random Question slide is just a placeholder.

  However, I think that your idea of being able to have the selected slide display its name in the table of contents if you wish has some merit.  Then I suggest that you connect to an enhancement with Adobe for this request.  You never know...

  I am a teacher. I use keynote to give the notes/lecture to my students. Today, after having finished class I escaped to my presentation and made preparations to restart. When I hit 'play', the presenter appeared on my MacBook Pro retina (as it does in general) and had no problems coming on my iPad. but he kept on my projector showing my office. I escaped and tried again, same thing. I unplugged my thunderbolt port projector cable then rep notched in: same result. I have mirrored display of the mbp and projector. Came on the MBP and not the projector. I tried to leave the program, which took time. When I re-opened, the main screen has become transparent. I then leave off of it and restarted the computer. This solves the problem, but after my next presentation, it's the same thing. I ran a scan of disk utility, and it says everything is fine. I am running the latest version of El Cap, in fact I've just updated last night. Could the update be the cause? Also, while this was happening, I was unable to restart or shut down the computer. I had to make a hard stop down by pressing the power button and hold. Ideas?

  Try to reset the Keynote, perform all the steps in the order listed

  I put t know what laptop you have, but as far as I know, all new laptops have the same screen switch option (FN + F5). Using this key combination, you can choose three different sessions:

  LCD screen only
  LCD/CRT at the same time and
  CRT only.

  If you choose the second option, you can do it on two tracks. You can look the same on both sides, or you can use it as two different domains and remove the display windows 1 (LCD) to show 2 (projector). Check it using the display option in the properties on the display settings tab.
