• How to know if a battery purchased is legitimate?

  I bought a battery 8 cells for my x61s of what I thought was a seller of good reputation on Amazon. Now, I'm not 100% sure, as the data in the software Lenovo Power does not match what is on the label of the box or the battery itself. The battery & software look if agreement among themselves, except the software indicates the serial number is "175" Hmm

  Is there anyone I can find to verify legitimacy?

  I would say you are right.  If it was a battery re-loculaire, Manager power would show two dates of manufacturing and it shows only one.  Serial number matches and everything fits the battery, so I would say that you have a new battery for Lenovo.

• Battery does not charge and updated my BIOS 1.21

  I have an Aspire 5741.  I have a problem with the battery not charging.  I recently downloaded and executed the new 1.21 BIOS.  I tried the power management update.  Still even with a new battery purchased 5200 mAh 11.1V (note that previous versions is a 4400 mAh and 10.8v battery 48w, stipulating the laptop was in charge, even if in reality, nothing seemed to be the case), laptop battery light is slowly orange flashing and the battery icon says "do not load"

  So I wonder also have I bought the wrong type of battery, but it does not say that it replaces an AS10D31 which was the old battery.

  Help - I can not run in a new battery, if I can't seem to load.  All the bright suggestions out there?

  The question is perhaps not battery, but the AC adapter or the power system in the laptop.

  There is not much I can help you solve the problems on the forums and you may have to contact the local support.

• Palm Pre won't Charge / turn on

  Heres is my problem. My palm pre battery when it is plugged in to recharge (with charger official palm pre, power supply) needed to DUMP when it's plugged in. I thought it could have been just a connection sometimes losing since sometimes charged and discharged. Shortly after this discharge started, I got it for free because I would have rather had a battery in any life. At the end of the day, my battery is completely dead and phone turns off. Not much, right? I'll come right home and put it on charge. Well, not so simple. When my phone support (with the charger official pre, tried in the sector, have tried in the laptop, have used 3rd party chargers) all I get is the battery charging icon. This is the red bar at the bottom with the lightning symbol on. I've tried everything. I cleaned up the phones to the compressed air connection, I took out battery for all-day to try, but nothing. My pre remains on this all day and dosent turn, once unplugged it shuts down. Could someone help me please? I can't take it on 02 since brought off the coast of a friend who have never experienced this problem, and it dosent have more paperwork to 02. is my phone broken? are there solutions?   I don't know if I can be of any assistance on this.  I think you should try webOS Doctor.  It is a program that reinstalls the webOS on your phone.  It could be that webOS has corrupted itself and must be reinstalled.  It's the only thing I can think of now.  If a webOS Doctor does not so I think that your problem is more serious than just a malfunction or software battery problem.

  I wanted some advice about batteries for my Blackberry "BOLD". I bought what was believed be an OEM battery so I had a back up when the original battery ran low on the ground outside, etc. But when I turned off the phone and remove the original OEM battery and place my purchase new battery in the phone, the menu has changed the appearance of the default menu and with no icons email I normally 5. The phone works fine, but the email icons disappeared now. If I replace the 2nd battery with the original OEM battery, he then returned to my menu customized with all the messaging icons in the menu.  Can someone please help with this problem. Is this happening because the 2nd battery purchased well stated as an OEM does not have the secure chip and alleged encryption that is used by the "BOLD" BB Phone to ensure that you are using an authentic product OEM Blackberry? Should I just buy the battery via Blackberry at full price or can I get the other distributors who claim to sell the correct OEM battery with the chip but at 1/2 to 2/3 of the price.  Or all the compatible batteries should operate independently without changing my settings and I may encounter an error with my phone, or is there an option that can be turned off in the phone to stop the resets.

  I can't guarantee that the use of the OEM battery will fix the problem.

  I have no experience with Mugen batteries, so I can't help with that.

  I don't think that a battery of expensive means better. Specifications only.

  I buy my OEM batteries with the carrier that sold me the unit.

  It might cost a little more, but peace of mind and no warranty problem

  are worth it.

  I think there is a very good reason that RIM makes batteries,.

  and I am not prepared to find out why!

• 6 years produced horrible sounds battery, the led load no longer appears

  My battery (and my laptop HP Pavilion zt3019ea) are 6 years old and for a few weeks now, my battery did sounds horrible (like a strong mosquito) when connected to the charger. When it is not connected to the charger stop the sounds but it seems that the battery was not charged at all.

  The charging light is not displayed, or very rarely.

  Is this the end?

  It is better to buy a new battery for a 6 years (I've changed the hard drive a few months ago)?

  I will definitely recommend buying a new battery for the camera because you always work on your laptop.

  It's batteries to buy spare parts geniune of HP to buy spare parts from third party you will have a warranty on the battery purchased.

• Bluetooth headset | Impossible to re-pair the device after deletion

  I have 2 fields, one for my wife and myself. I've matched with success the pre of my wife with a stereo bluetooth headset Altec Lansing/Plantronics Backbeat (new) (model BBT903/R). Then I tried to pair it with my pre but it wouldn't recognize it. I have read the help file for Bluetooth on the meadow and realized that I had to remove the association with the front woman first. The help instructions supposed to remove the device to PRE Bluetooth screen name (device name of point culminating right drag, click on delete). I did it on Pre my wife. I then tried to pair with my pre but had the same problem - the machine is not found. Tried again on my wife before and now it not pair either!

  Now I'm stuck. The helmet is not recognized by a meadow. I tried to turn on/off BlueTooth. I tried to change the order in which I turned on devices (first helmet, second pre and vice versa). I tried the hard reset by removing the PRE battery and put it in. I would do the same for the helmet, but the battery is not removable/accessible.

  With the Plantronics / helmets Altec Lansing, you must press the button so that it flashes Red and blue (and alternates)... the flashing blue means it's looking for a connection to a device with which it is already associated. Hope that helps.

• Please help RE: HP G60 - 120US PC laptop

  My laptop referenced subject which beeps four 4 times per second (beep, beep, beep, beep) when I pressed the power button. After the beep, I got was a black screen. I tried remove the battery and let it sit Idol for a few minutes, again placing the battery and turn it on, but still emits four beeps. I tried powering it up without the battery purchase using the card, but still with black screen beeps. I'm desperately need advice on how to an expert or do I have to do to solve this problem. • ProBook 4510 s crashed and closed during charging

  My probook 4510 s system crashed and closed when running connected to the power adapter. When it works connected to the power supply with or without battery inserted, it shuts down suddenly, charge led lights up blue and it remains blue after disconnecting the charging cable. Unable to reactivate it, not until the blue light turns off after a short time, only so that it can be turned on again. Same problem if you work connected to the power supply with battery purchased.   This may be interesting to try as well.

  First, stop the laptop, unplug the AC adapter unplugged, remove the battery and then press and hold the power button for a minute.

  Now, plug in the power adapter and start the PC without the battery inserted, start Notepad, open windows control panel, open Device Manager, expand the entry for the Batteries, do a right-click on theMicrosoft ACPI compatible with battery control method and selectUninstall - do uninstall not something else here.  When the uninstall is complete, shut down the PC, unplug the AC adapter, reinsert the battery and then start the PC on just the battery.  Windows will automatically reinstall the driver - leave Windows running for a few minutes. Shut down the PC again.  Now plug the power adapter (with the inserted battery always) and start the laptop to see if it helped the issue at all.

• Purchase and installation of the internal battery on lenovo t450s

  Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to install an internal battery in a t450s (repackaged without internal battery) and if so, where I could buy the battery.

  It seems to me that the internal battery of T450s is the same as those on the T440s. You can access it by removing the rear cover. I shows that there are 3 numbers (different suppliers). 45N1773, 45N1111 and 45N109. They can be purchased directly from Lenovo (by IBM) or eBay. IBM link is:

• Newly purchased Lenovo Z400 battery not charging

  Nice day
  Recently, I bought my new Lenovo Z400 yesterday and took it for a test run.
  After testing for a while, I noticed that the battery meter was still 24% (even though it says "plugged in, load").
  If I disconnected the laptop on a socket, the laptop lights or if its plugged in and I took it out, the laptop stops.
  It came with a pre installed Windows 8 and Lenovo Energy Management 8.0

  For those of you who have the new Palm Pre... Please tell me how you keep your battery charged without it coming down from 100% at the beginning of the day to 30% of 15:00!  How are we supposed to use the Pre if allows you to ensure that autonomy will support all throughout any given day?

• Palm Pre crazy symptoms: 'phone in offline mode', won't charge battery, won't start, message error "an error has occurred that cannot be resolved.

  This is a long description of a series of problems with my new Palm Pre. You can search text to find your specific problem. There is no solution in my post. Looking for possible answers in future responses.

  I bought my Palm Pre 4 days ago and it arrived 2 days ago. Phone was working fine. Last night I plugged the phone and updated the operating system. After, I've selected "Done" and went to bed.

  -First set of questions: 'Phone offline', will not charge battery.

  In the upper left corner of the phone, there is the message "phone offline. Although the phone was in charge all night, it reads "battery of 26%. I called the general number of on the Sprint tech support and we tried the following things:

  (1) the phone reboots (press on and hold the power button / stop, then select 'Disable'. After setting down, hold down power button / power stop.)

  (2) to reset the phone (several ways - call tech support so that you do this properly)

  The individual Sprint and then sent me to another tech support person, likely to level 2.

  -Second series of questions: message error "an error has occurred that cannot be resolved;

  #2 Sprint tech support person had me also to restart and reset the phone in a number of ways. In his own words 'we tried all the palm pre stuff I know' and whenever the phone was insensitive. Often, we received the message error "the phone is in offline mode. We did a full erase and after that the phone will not re-start is no longer. At this point, the error message came up saying "an error has occurred that cannot be resolved" that referred me to www.palm.com for assistance. I think it's important to note here that this was not the typical error message (black screen with white letters) but rather the blue sky with a translucent box on background with white text.

  #2 Sprint tech support person then me connected with the support of the Palm and the dance continued. Yet once, we tried a whole bunch of reset and restart and the erasure of the options. Palm support asked me to go to: www.palm.com/rom to download WebOS Doctor, which I did. I downloaded the file. Although that was the case he had hold the button "volume +" and connect the phone to the charger. This caused a USB symbol will appear on the phone. When the record was complete, I got an error message which could not run the file. Palm tech support person seemed surprised. I mentioned that I was on a Mac and he said he couldn't help me. He me transferred to another person from Palm support that works with Mac users.

  Palm #2 tech support person advised me that I should have selected the download option 'mac' on www.palm.com/rom. I verbally walked him through the series of Web pages, telling him it is said that you need Windows (any version) or Mac (whatever version), but that at no time was there a possibility to download another WebOS doctor for different operating systems. After an exchange of views over she told me that she would have to have someone call back me tomorrow.

  -Third series of questions: phone stuck on the USB symbol.

  So for the moment, the phone is completely useless. Not fantastic. I started the mac on Windows 7 and downloaded WebOS Doc and received the same error message. I also ran Windows Vista virtually and received the same error message. Later this afternoon, I head into work to try the same thing on Windows XP.

  In the meantime, I got on this forum and found a thread that has provided a direct link to the necessary file:

  After downloading this file, I realized could totally be a virus, I was able to get WebOS Doc work on my computer. It took that I recharge the phone before, and now it's on the screen that says 'do not disconnect your phone' and the full file of 3%. Only... it was completed for almost 30 minutes to 3%.

  I hope that Palm will follow-up with me tomorrow, but I'm leaving on a business trip at 7:00 and I would love to have the thing work. All suggestions are welcome, even if you can just tell me how to get her think disconnected safely before my flight tomorrow. I want to get through security with my phone plugged into my laptop.

  I picked up the phone at the local Sprint store and the sales ago replaced the phone. They were unable to understand what went wrong and, essentially, has declared a complete failure of the unit. I'm sorry that I'm not able to offer better news, but I hope that this info is useful to you.
