• Predictive Emoji does not work

  I have a s 6 +.

  I have installed IOS 10.0.1 with the first backup of my 9.3.5 existing phone.  Then, I used the function "update and restore ' in iTunes to clear my phone and have a clean installation of 10.0.1.  Then I restored my 9.3.5 backup on my phone that works now 10.0.1.

  Everything works beautifully.  Except, the predictive function "emoji."   I should be able to type in something like "lets get beers for the party" and it should show the beers and the part emoji in above the keyboard auto-correction suggestions as I type each of these words.  Mine is not that.  TI just poster automatically corrects the normal which is always done if my message happen me to typo.

  I have only the Emoji keyboard English and active.  I have reset the keyboard dictionary. I tried enabling/disabling/off predictive function within the parameters of keyboard.   I have removed/added Emoji keyboard back in.  I force-restarted my phone in each handset the above.  I tried all the "fixes" that have been published, but nothing has worked.

  I get the Emoji keyboard manually and it analyze my text I typed and propose to change the words corresponding emoji - that works.

  But I'm looking for a fix to the predictive emoji bug.

  Try sending yourself a bunch of emoticons by text by opening your emoji keyboard and only randomly by tapping on them. Send you a couple of them. Worked for me.

  To have seized predictive available in individual applications, you must first enable in settings > general > keyboard > predictive.

  Switch on your screen capture allows you to disable predictive on per - app basis. It is grated out because you have not enabled this feature in the settings.

  After installing the new iOS does not work. I uninstalled two emoji and re-installed. Does not work. Ideas?

  bitmoji has just released a new update today to correct this, check the app store for the update.

• Insert symbols or emoji does not work

  I can call the menu, but it does not insert the symbol or emoji in the text. It works in the pages, but not in the build in notes app or ical for example. In the pages, it works only when I drag the text symbol. Double click doesn't work anymore. A couple of weeks, it worked very well. I have not installed webroot. I read somewhere that this could be the problem.

  Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

  The problem is resolved. I installed an en of today (10.11.4) updated it works again.

  Hello again all you Apple Experts.  I use Safari to access my account of stock market trading.  Predictive text is a nuisance when I type in a stock symbol.  Is that all I can disable?  I disabled all of the checkboxes in the preferences of Safari.   Thanks in advance for your help.  I use El Capitan.

  Try Safari/Edit/Substitutions - uncheck the replacement text.

• iOS 10 - Emoji in not included in the predictive text

  Updated to iOS 10 today. Always play with it and try to understand things. But one thing that some friends of mine who can make my iPhone's display an emoji in the section of text predictive once you enter a word that has an associated emoji.

  I tried to disable/enable the predictive text, reset the dictionary of text and adding and removing of keyboards and languages, as proposed in line. Also tried to change these settings and hard/soft reset the phone. No dice.

  Now I am cause of GROUND I wiped my own dictionary that I was put in place for some time. Back to the AutoCorrect 'duck' If you know what I mean

  A few colleges to work can get emoji in predictive text while myself and others may not.

  This function does not seem to work anywhere in the phone, iMessage, Notes, E-mail, etc.

  Anyone else having this problem read this?

  You can check if the search engine suggestion and suggestions of safari in active in the settings. Go to settings/Safari/Search Engine Suggestions and just below this Safari of Suggestions. Make sure that the power switch is green.

  I haven't seen someone else pointing out this problem and have no knowledge of the topic other than the behavior I saw on my own system.

  That being said, Windows 7 help & how-to text prediction is available in all editions of Windows except Windows 7 Home Basic Edition [English, French, Italian, German, Spanish] 7.

  The suggestion box does not come to the top. The small white bar is missing from my screen. I checked all the settings. Works great on iPad 3. I have iPhone6

  On the keyboard, did you try now click the emoji bit next to the Mic icon and drag your finger up to predictive > on?

• How to disable 10 IOS predictive emoji

  After the update to IOS 10 text predictive suggestions seem not to be as relevant as in 9 IOS, and a suggestion slot is taken up with an emoji. How to I disable this inept - I'm not a child of five and I text adults who can read without needing photos to help! It's really annoying and I want to turn it off.

  Thanks for all the suggestions - and no, I don't want to turn off the predictive text, only to stop the emoji characters to appear in a "predictive text" bar - they are not text they are pictures. Grrrr!

  Settings > general > keyboard > keyboards > edit > delete the Emoji.

• Keyboard does not not with IOS 10

  I just downloaded the IOS 10 today, and the keyboard does not appear. I can almost see below the iMessage space where you normally text; However, I can't access it. I can't access my keyboard in Contacts, Notes or any other applications. Help, please.

  You have more than 2 keyboards (English & Emoji) Configuration? Go to settings > general > keyboard > keyboard and check. Sometimes this happens when there is a configuration of keyboard by a 3rd party application.

• Script errors often slow Firefox, does not and the display no longer responds.

  In recent weeks, firefox has often been insensitive, usually represented as "does not. It lasts anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes (maybe more, but by this amount of time, I lose patience and "end task" in the Task Manager.) It is usually followed by an error "the script is not responding. What script it's varies. I answered by clicking on "stop script" which usually fixes the problem temporarily.

  The problem seems to occur more often at random, but happen always predictable on site with videos like youtube. Here, it's also worse, take much longer to solve if we do at all. I have active flashblock, and sometimes the error occurs before I got the chance to activate the video and sometimes after, but occurs systematically. In addition, on this kind of site, the error "the script is not responding" will also go on which most of the time, which I have not seen anywhere else, which means that the only solution, after a certain time must end the process in the Task Manager. Sometimes, I tried to play the same video for half an hour without success.

  As I have spent some time in the Task Manager, I noticed that I find myself with many processes running for FlashPlayerPlugin_15_0_0_152.exe * 32 (Description: Adobe Flash Player 15.0 r0.) They accumulate more I use firefox, but disappear when I restart my computer. I'm away until at least 50 at any given time. Most use 128 or 124 K of memory, but about 1 in 7 uses between 1-5000 K. I don't know if it is related to these issues, but I only noticed it since it was started.

  Please update to version 32 and make sure that it also does not happen with the disabled extensions/addons.

• WRT350N firmware update does not

  Hi, I just got a unused WRT350N router.

  I had a few problems getting the installer on my MAC (OSX 10.5.6), but it turns out that they have problems using Firefox have been resolved when I started using Safari. However, I still have a problem unsettled with the upgrade of the firmware...

  I want to upgrade the firmware the 2.0.10 original to the most recent available from 2.0.19. I downloaded this on the support page, which gives me a text from the Readme file and a. IMG file which I assume is the firmware file (all the instructions I found imply there should be one.) BIN file)

  I connected my router to the MAC using a wired connection and followed the instructions to upgrade the firmware (using the.) IMG file), followed the steps of rest (including using the hardware reset button and the option of software factory default values), but when the router comes back to the top still says its firmware 2.0.10.

  I don't get any error message and have noticed that at the end of the upgrade it does NOT display the «update is successful, restart...» "message.

  I have lived this several times with the same results. Any ideas please?

  I printed off manual and found an obscure reference to Web pages only work with IE and Netscape and so given my previous issues with Firefox I looked up an old install of Netscape and hey presto the update worked first - didn't even have to reset the router! :-)

  I hope can be useful to someone else at somepoint.

  PS. I know this is a 'reasonably' old router by today's standards, but I question what type of programming is sitting behind the pages that it only works with IE & Netscape! I realize that you cannot predict what are the browsers will be used in the future, but come on!

• indexing does not look in the files as "file".

  I have hundreds of files without extension, and indexing, you won't find any content files.  In the 'Type' column, it shows that 'file '.  These are text files, I can open it in Wordpad or Notepad.  If I do a "save under", or rename the file as a .txt file, then I can search in content

  

  I have already entered the Indexing Options and went to advanced, then File Types.  I added a new extension of ". =", "." and a white.  Also chose "Index Properties and file contents," then re-indexed.  It still does not work.  If I search in the search, "file type:" or "type: =." she'll find by type name, however try to add the contents of the files the search does not find anything.

  Won't try indexing indexing a file without an extension because of the ambiguity of not knowing if it will have the same format as the others and has been the main causes of accidents, performance issues and indexing of corruption.  Basically because the input format cannot be guaranteed or predict reliably, it does.
