  1. Open the Recycle Bin and select one of the files that you removed. Chose file > back up. The file back to its folder.
  2. Open Safari and see if the problem returns.
     • If the issue is returned, you have identified the add-on causing the problem. Do not use or contact its manufacturer for an updated version.
     • If the question does not return, quit Safari and put back another file.

  I have read several replies to other posts on how to set a homepage in Safari.  I have Safari 9.0.1.     iOS El Capitan 10.11.1

  Safari-Preferences translates no response at all.  The Preferences dialog box does not come to the top.  Nothing.

  Can't do youtube to open in safari. It started about 5 days ago and safari says that it is impossible to connect to the server. I can load youtube in chrome very well. If I disconnect and reconnect to the wifi safari load youtube for a few minutes.
