  Just fixed this problem for me:

  Open the file/Program files (x 86).

  Search: vcredist_x64.exe

  3 results popped up for me. I ran all three and it fixed the problem for me. Hope this works for you as well.

  CS2 is very old and is very different under the hood then cs6.

  I know that the NVA reader 10 (X) under win/xp it will open, but try to open it under win7/64 using Adobe Pro 8.2.6, I get the following message:

  The type of security they applied means that it cannot be opened in any version of Acrobat or Reader before 9. They have made a mistake to do this way, in my opinion.

• Premiere Pro 2015 won't open after the recent update

  I tried to reinstall the application, then by restarting my computer.  No luck.  I get the error message "the application could not start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application. "when I opened the program from the windows start bar.  When I try to launch the app for the creative cloud app (3.41.181), that nothing is happening.

  I'm on a desktop Windows OS 64-bit 10

  8 GB ram

  Graphics card ATI Radeon HD 5850 with lastest drivers (15.11.1) AMD

  AMD Phenom II x 4 955 Processor 3.20 GHz

  First Pro worked great yesterday, even though I was no longer able to select option GPU acceleration when I started a new project.

  Other applications like Lightroom Adobe and audition open very well.

  This has been a persistent problem. I'm on Windows 10. All the latest graphics drivers - my graphics card is a Quadro K1100M

  If I open the Task Manager, there is a process in the background running to 2015 of Photoshop, but the program does not start. I tried as admin, does not help.

  I tried to move the OOBE, SLCache, and SLStore folders on the desktop. Does not help.

  I have to do and to address this problem. Help, please!
