  I doubt s a hardware problem because they do not work properly and the lit / functions are controlled by added value package. In your case, I recommend reinstall Toshiba Value added Package from the official website of Toshiba:

  Remove the VAP, restart the computer and install the new VAP software.

  Access songs (music > songs) and look at the alphabetical list.  At this level, you see if all the titles appear two times.  I had this happen when you transfer an album to the microSD card, then swap to another player who has the same album in the internal memory.  The songs on the map will display a small map icon next to them.

  If you transfer a track in MSC mode, then back to PSG, you have duplicates, since from the PC, you will not see both modes at the same time.

  Finally, if you use audio formats or codecs, lists the two versions of the song.  For example, I have FLAC a MP3 copy, as well as a copy of a song in memory (the e200 has not been granted ability FLAC, but the same thing will happen if we have a copy the other MP3 and WMA).

  Hey guys. I went to open my laptop yesterday and the power came the keyboard lights but the screen do not have. I was trying to understand if it is a physical problem or a software problem. It turns out that, when I plugged it into another monitor with a HDMI cable, the computer is always on and I can use it. Because it is a touch screen, I tried to use the screen to browse the Internet and it still worked. So, basically, the laptop still works and the screen works (because I can browse the Internet by using a different screen and the touch screen still works), but the screen itself is not lit. This sounds like a software problem or a physical problem? What ideas you guys have to fix? Thank you

• CQ61-312SA: Presario CQ61 does not boot, black screen.

  In setting in motion:

  • LEDs LED power supply front and button cases NIP
  • Wireless LED lights
  • Above the touchpad LED lights continuously
  • LEDS near caps lock and above paved digital flash streaming
  • No sign of drive activity, no fan noise, the screen remains black.

  Looks like it is not booting in the BIOS.

  However, I tried:

  • Remove the battery, button to power down etc.
  • Remove each RAM module and Exchange.
  • Remove the HARD drive

  NB symptoms are the same when the power supply plugged in or not.

  I believe that the flashing LEDs are important but I the only references I can find are telling me to contact the HP Support.

  Can anyone tell if this is likely to be a failure of a repairable component.

  I was hoping to identify the component that prevents the laptop to even start the BIOS but I guess I'll have to just it's bin.

  Was given this computer by a friend to try to find out what is wrong with it. It does not start and the Caps Lock/Num Lock LEDS give a flash code that seems to indicate a CPU problem. Have reinstalled the RAM, wireless card and the hdd - even. Have tried to start without anything plugged - even. Tried the hard reset - same. And we tried the reset of the BIOS (windows + B) - still the same.

  As it is out of warranty (expired on August 27, 2011) I was wondering what could be done. What would be the best package of care to buy... If the owner is willing, of course.

I bought a new processor, an intel Core 2 Duo E4300 1.80 GHz 2 M 800 MHz processor LGA775 Conroe, which is on the list of caught cpu supported by the motherboard (945GCT-HM (Livermore)) on the website of intel.   I understand that you are having problems with upgrading the processor on your desktop Compaq Presario SR5010NX. Well well, according to the HP Support document: upgrade or replacement of the processor you have followed the steps correctly. The TDP for the original and intel processor Core 2 Duo E4300 1.80 GHz 2 M 800 MHz LGA775 processor are the two 65w so this isn't a problem. I suspect that you're right in that the new processor is faulty.

  I repartitioned & sata HD format several times for my presario c304nr, it will not recognize the HD so I can't loa WinXP.
  Because the original HD is gone, there is no OS. Whay is the precedure support Windows XP in this laptop?

  Well it is almost a lost art now, but you will need to load the SATA (ich7) driver during XP Setup using the F6 method. A usb floppy drive is useful or you can actually do a XP CD personalized with drivers 'slipstreamed' in the contents of the disc by using a program called nLite.

  Google Intel SATA F6 drivers and nLite XP CD and you will find the info you need. Good luck.

  When you say you tried changing IDE emulation you mean that you changed or have you been unable to change it to IDE?

  Please rephrase the statement for me: "before I test the hard disk to connect to the other laptop via USB to sata interface successfully formatted using ntfs file system."  I really don't understand what you mean.

  Windows XP Home edition doesn't have a native SATA drivers for installation. SATA drivers must be provided during installation.

  Perhaps the creation of a Windows 7 professional install thumbdrive since an iso would be a viable option if you know how it is made. If you have a disk or an iso file, then the Windows 7 USB DVD download tool would be perfect. You will need to make an ISO of your installation of Windows 7 Professional DVD file, you can use the tool.

  What was your original operating system and you have the defined recovery disk?

  Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. It's a great site for information and questions. I looked in your question about your Compaq Presario CQ60-210US laptop and receiving a message from the user profile service failed the log on. Here is a fix for it from Microsoft. It seems that the profile you are trying to connect to a file corrupted in it.

  You can do a System Restore. System Restore will help if something is automatically updated and wasn't on the laptop. This helps others correct this error message.

  When running a system restore note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices because they can cause problems.

• HE commands to work - Compaq Presario SR5000 does not start

  I have a Compaq Presario SR5000 running Windows Vista Edition family basic and once we got in, I first cleaned the internals to the air compressed, then tried to start, and it failed, so recommended BIOS I run the Startup Repair tool and so I did, and the startup repair couldn't fix the computer "automatically".

  Now, I run the system restore and I tried to restore the computer to its last Windows Update, and I got the error code 0 x 80070002, meaning that the system cannot find the specified file.

  Specifications for the Compaq Presario SR5000 I have:

  AMD Sempron LE-1250 to 2.20 GHz

  2 GB PC2-6400 DDR2 SDRAM Samsung

  WDC WD3200AAJS 320 GB HDD at 3.0 Gbps

  Well, if this is the case, then I think you may try to access BIOS, if that does not work then go ahead with the HARD drive option. I had this problem before and I wiped the hard and it worked eventually. If this does not work, I will try and find a different solution.
