  So yes, I got PowPool Playbook published on AppWorld which is very nice, not to mention the slight problem that it doesn´t appear in AppWorld =) to clarify: when looking at the AppWorld store on a browser from the app office is presented in the category of games inside the arcade genre subcategory. But when we look at the subcategory of arcade games category on the app world app on the Playbook, then the app is not visible here. It seems not to be visible anywhere really with the exception that it appears when searching for it by name using the search entry field. First, I thought it would maybe just take a little until the publication is propagated in the system, but since it's like that for a few days now, hm... Overall, Yes, don't know why this bug occurs and in addition it would be also good to have a category of games all and some games already presented in the category of game genres list page in AppWorld.

  Today, I can see the app "Pow Pool" in AppWorld on my PlayBook. But it's 'Pow Pool' and not 'PowPool '.

• Interactive presentation, App support, license required?

  I'm an interactive presentation design in indesign for a customer.  I need to convert it into an application that the customer wants to be able to view offline on his ipad.  The app will just be for personal use, so that we do not sell and want to keep private.  I also need to make some changes to it in the future.

  Questions?

  What license do I need DPS (ok is unique edition)?

  Are there recurring costs?

  Can I specify that there should be private in the App store?

  I am able to make changes to the application in the future?

  Also, why not get the simple edition until no later than 2012, I need it now and it is available?

  You don't need to buy anything beyond InDesign. You will use the Adobe Content Viewer to view the application.

  If you want a brand app, you will need an enterprise through Adobe and Apple-level account.

• App ends suddenly all playing music

  There is this little bug, I got recently which, while listening to the music for half an hour or two, the Walkman application closes suddenly as if I stopped the music. He considered a bug like the app goes back to the very first song that I started to play in my playlist. No mistake made as I went from the first song. BTW, I use it with the Sony connect app chip.

  I saw that question with my Z1 with walkman, chrome and, sometimes, album, try this

  settings > apps > all > walkman > clear data > restart your phone > check again

• Strange behavior of a new presentation app

  On a total of 7 apps I submitted during the last Chance port-o-thon, there were 2 rejected due to an issue related to orientation. But I have fixed that and them again shortly after the rejection of emails.

  Already an app has been approved and is on sale now (see: ColorSeya). But other shows: "project. 1 open cRs. And the 'Send for review' link is displayed under the name of the application. When I click on the link under the heading broadcasts (here, '2'), it shows 1 output as "Declined" and another 1 "under review".

  No idea why this is? Is it really considered or even not sent for review?

• Gate presentation app BlackBerry PlayBook

  Hi all

  I wrote and published a BlackBerry app that is available in the BlackBerry App World. For the sake of argument let's call him "My App"

  I have worn since the game for the PlayBook with the same name and want to add it to the BlackBerry App World.

  However, I do not want to add it as a rejection of the PlayBook in my existing entry as a description is not entirely accurate, and screenshots would certainly not correct. What do you think is the best way to add the new app in App World?

  I might add an entry called 'My App for PlayBook', then check replace the names of JAD and put "My App" in the name, the same way call "My App" in the XML file in the project - "My App for PlayBook" becomes only an internal name for inside my portal provider, customers see "My App for PlayBook" in the App World and "My App" on their PlayBook screen when installing it?

  RIM are sensitive to the use of the "for PlayBook"?

  Bit confused - any help much appreciated!

  We recently bought EX90 Cisco with software version TC7.0.2.aecf2d9.

  We are facing a problem with the presentation sharing. When make us a video call and start presentation sharing call suddenly falls. On the opposite side is also Cisco EX90 with the same version of the software. Device is autonomous

  You are able to provide a few details about your call / environment, such as:

  • What is the rate of call of the call?
  • What is the bandwidth of the link between the sites?
  • What other traffic flows on the links at the same time (a lot / no)?
  • You have configured your endpoints and QoS routers/switches?
  • Is there a firewall on each site?
  • Is there an inspection of H.323 or SIP packets passing on firewalls or routers?
  • You can provide the newspapers of these two endpoints for any of the calls that fails?

  so, I have connected and click Remove from sale, but they are still all in appworld.

  How to remove them?

  Are you sure it's to delete? First on your homescreen go to Options > device > application > locate and remove or make sure that it is not on this list.

  Then from your browser BlackBerry www.blackberry.com/appworld/download search for and download the most recent available for your device.

  When you create the new version, you must download the Playbook (.bar) bundle and to specify that this bundle will support the Tablet (as a platform). I believe you can download simultaneously bundle for smartphones and bundle for Playbook, however you can not change the existing version and add beams. So I would say to create a new version and download the two beams.

  Another option would be to create a new application called 'Your-app-name for Playbook', some developers prefer to do.

  Is it possible to have a file downloaded (via a form or webapp on the front-end site edit form) to be stored/created as a Media Download (literature point)? Or if not, is it possible to secure a file that has been downloaded on the front-end server (by 'trust' I mean impossible to access outside a secure area)?

  My goal is to have customers upload files in their secure area and to maintain safety on the downloaded file so that others cannot access it. I don't see that this will be possible, but I hope someone might have creative ideas to work around.

  No, bad choice of wording by support staff.

  So no, you CAN NOT do a media download the item on the front-end server as Adam wanted.

  You can make a web application that accepts article submissions web app and have a file download the component. This requires a selection of folder, it is the names of files that are not non-sensiques and impossible to use on the front-end and web presentation app requires you to be logged on to the website to do.

  The other method of course if via web forms that settle on a deal and are not available outside access to the admin.

  Hi all

  A quick question that I got chance to find an answer to. We present our first application for review of the App World. We intend on dynamic implementation of license, and I found almost all of the information I need on these forums (thanks!). However, I saw a someone discuss how dynamic licensing is managed in the course of the review of the presentation/app process.

  For example, I have my web server set to meet license applications, and I put the code in my application to prevent exploitation without a license. RIM will use these tools during the test as if an app store purchase has been registered, or have another way to circumvent the licensing process? Is there a way I can verify that these processes work before submission?

  When we have implemented dynamic licenses in our product, we would NOT provide the RIM with a way to circumvent the authentication of our application process.  They approved our app in 2 weeks.
