• Not able to reduce the size of the police after turning off the projector.

  I use my laptop for powerpoint presentation for the students of the University. I use a Lenovo Thinkpad SL500. However, there is no problem to connect to the projector. The last time that I disconnected the projector, the size of the font is not some up to normal. I tried to go to the option of customization and selected the smaller font. Even after a reboot, the font size is not down to normal. The next time I plugged the projector, the size of the font was normal. After disconnecting, the font size is increased further.   1 - is the maximum resolution (800 × 600 pixels), your computer can get?
  2. what happens when you set a higher resolution?

• Vista will not recognize the projector connected for multiple display

  I'm under a system dual boot with Windows XP and Vista.  When running under XP, I doesn't hurt to connect a projector to my laptop and extend the desktop on the projector for meetings and others.

  When I am running Vista, it does not even recognize that the projector is connected.  However, once I have connected the projector, if I reboot the system, it will then display on the projector.  If I disconnect the projector, the screen does not reappear on the screen of the laptop, I have to restart, with the projector removed for office reappear on the screen of the laptop.  I'm hoping to get multiple monitors to work with Vista, as it does in my XP boot.

  For the purpose of the next presentation running in XP is not an option.

  Try these steps and check if that helps:

  Method 1: We can try to perform a power cycle of the projector.

If your screen is higher, it might not display on the projector, then you want to test this until you're ready to take the floor. Drag the color to highest (32 bit) if available or medium (16 bit) quality if the first is not available.

  5. now select FN and press the function key. This key is usually given by a small screen icon, the CRT/LCDtext and is usually found on F8 or F5 even. Press the appropriate operation button ONCE and wait. After a few seconds, the second screen should light up. Be patient, it may take up to 5 seconds. On the projector, it may take up to 10 seconds for the projector to detect your system and switch. Note: a second press of this function (in general) will switch to monitor EXTERNAL only. A third press stop INTERNAL onlyand the circle for each push after that. Also note that some laptops can do this sequence in a different order, so learn your system so that you can quickly to the desired mode.

  6. click on the ADVANCED button. If 'apply the new settings to display without restarting' is not selected, select it. Under screen refresh rate, select 60 Hz. click APPLY and CONFIRM the choice. Click OK to close the ADVANCED options dialog. Close the display properties dialog box. You should now see a mirroring of your monitor on the second monitor.

  7. test: A test, disconnect the second monitor. put your mobile PC to sleep. He wakes up and let it fully come (login if necessary), and then reconnect the external monitor.   1. If you do NOT want mirrored poster (display of different internal and external), CHECK the box next to the line that reads "extend my Windows desktop to this monitor." This SHOULD result in the external monitor display an image which is an EXTENSION of the current desktop.

  2. in the settings dialog box, the internal monitor appears as a '1' and externally as a '2 '. Click ONCE on the '2 '.

  3. with '2' selected, drag the Screen Resolution slider to the left or to the right until the resolution reads "1024 x 768". Also affect the quality of the highest (32-bit color) if available or average (16 bit) if the first is not available.

  4. click on the ADVANCED button. If 'apply the new display settings without restarting' is not selected, select it.

  5. Select the MONITOR tab. Under screen refresh rate, select 60 Hz. click APPLY and CONFIRM the choice. Click OK to close the ADVANCED dialog box. Your system is now set for an extended desktop. When it is connected to the screen, you may need to use the function switch key to turn once more on this option, but on systems that I tested, the extended desktop comes just when the monitor is connected. Yet once, I suggested some tests with this mode of knowing how your laptop will perform when connected to an external monitor before coming to speak.

  6. notes that, in this mode, items moved to the extended desktop can be "lost" it if the external monitor is disconnected because they live on the extended desktop is no longer available. • BlackBerry Blackberry World film Z10 is not displayed in mode landscape on the projector

  I followed the steps to preview (with the intention of renting) a movie (SkyFall) via Blackberry World

  1. I have connected my Z10 for my projector (Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8350) via micro-HDMI port

  2. the movie preview appears correctly (in landscape mode) on the Z10 but it appears Potrait of the projector mode (title by an angle of 90 degrees higher than a normal landscape mode). I tried to use the Rotation lock, but that did not help.

  This seems to be a fault as when I look at my home made movie via a maker of projects it correctly the movie landscape on the projector and my Z10.

  It is affecting the publishing service (and will result in the loss of revenue for Blackberry) and issue of IMO that should put you out a patch for this problem as soon as possible. If you have a screen sharing session, I'll be more than happy to have a. If you want pictures of what it looks like on the projector, I'll be more than happy to provide those.

  Additional features that can help...

  -While the film is presented, there should be a possibility to tilt/reverse the image which is projected to the projector via the micro-HDMI port - this will help you control the projections of film on the projector.

  1 Refresh FF. No joy.
  2 disable all add-ons. No joy.
  3. run FF in safe mode. No joy.

  Nevermind, I fixed it. Changed some settings of Java, then changed their return.

  1. Right-click a bookmark
  2. Click change
  3. Change the name of the site "" (simply press the space bar)
  4. Repeat steps.

  This will display the name as a SPACEBAR, eliminating the name entirely.

• I added a theme, but it does appear in the toolbar, not the whole screen (the new tab page). How can I get the whole theme to show (fullecreen)?

  After updating to Firefox 14.0.1 my results search no longer show the icon of Norton WEB security beside each result. It worked fine before the upgrade. The Norton toolbar is there, and when you click on the site that the web report secure is there but NOT the icon in the search results.

  Norton has released updates for Firefox 14 morning even as the version of Firefox 14. Norton releases usually updates, the morning even as the new versions of Firefox. Have you updated Norton through their LiveUpdate?

• My 3rd Windows 7 computer is unable to access the computers on the network. "Unable to browse the network", or "the network is not present or not started.

  3 computers, 2 XP, 3 windows 7.  The network is wired and wireless Ethernet.  Wired windows 7 computer can see xp wireless desktop.  no computer can see 3rd xp professional running on the wired computer.  Third computer can acess internet through router wireless, but when accessing NETWORK/MICROSOFT WINDOWS NETWORK PLACES/SET, a message comes back with "Unable to browse the network", "the network is not present or not started.  I can ping other computers.  I ran home and small office set up several times.  The network is protected by Norton Inernet Security.  He can see all computers in the group in its Panel of network security plan.  This system worked to a point.
  I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

All of a sudden, I could not access the computer on which the printer is connected to everything. I ran the Diagnostics of the network and the convenience of homegroup without result. I discovered that the Server service is not running and tried to start, but rather, I got the error "Windows could not start the Server service on Local computer. Error 1222: the network is not present or not started. "LAN diagnostics donnГ not answers. After the Server service does not, I cannot share files or printer, but can somehow get internet to share.
