Presenting Keynote 6.6.2 problems

Keynote 6.6.2 when I present, I just get a cursor and that's it.  I want to be able to see the footnote / the notes slide when I present to you, but the only way it seems what to do with the settings that you get when you press play.  These are not displayed. I also use a 12 inch MacBook.

  1. (Keynote > Preferences > slide show > the option button corresponding: enable presenter view)
  2. Connect a projector or an external display for Mac
  3. ensure that the option of copying video is not selected in: (System Preferences > monitors > Arrangement)
  4. Slideshow play (play > play slideshow)
  5. If the presenter screen is displayed on the external screen, press X on the keyboard
  6. The presenter display button-click Customize at the top right of the screen, and then select the options you want to display

  • synchronization of presentations keynote with a small team

Hello, I'm looking for an effective way on the sharing of a presenting keynote with a team of 8 people with iPads. Ideally, the presentation will be synchronized so that when it has updated all versions of team members will be updated to the latest version. This better would be using an iCloud account with all members of the team, or it would be possible to synchronize with a team using itunes?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Looks like you want to work with others on a project of speech through several iPads. I think that you will find on the iPad help site very useful:

Hello. I use mac to make presentations keynote and photographs of edition. I am currently using 11 "Macbook air 128 GB and 4 GB of RAM running on the latest ios.  But I find it very slow now, especially my keynotes. Planing to buy a new. Which one should I buy for my needs?

Before you buy a new Mac, as a test, save your user files, erase the hard drive, install Mac OS X and then install only your most used applications. It should work like new.

Any model of Mac bought today, will run Keynote, and Photo editing with ease.

  • Using Adobe Presenter will not solve the problem of police when I use Acrobat Connect Pro?

So my fonts in my PowerPoint presentation are not preserved when I use Acrobat Connect Pro (as it is not one of the Adobe fonts). I saw that a member of staff said that thanks to Adobe Presenter it should solve this problem, so if I buy Adobe Presenter and use it on my presentation it will preserve my fonts and also my animations/transitions, etc? Thanks in advance

It should be. The problem is that when you load a PPT (X) at Adobe Connect it converts to a Presenter presentation. However, it can use only the fonts on the server, which is the basic MS fonts. Publishing locally with the presenter should allow you to use the fonts you have on your computer, so this issue. Your animations and transitions must also be preserved, but you will have your animations sur-Cliquer for control when they are placed in Presenter.

  • presentations keynote controller held in the hand

Apple used to provide a practical hand controller and undress for remote control on a Mac for Keynote presentations. It was excellent, but the device function and remote control was abandoned when infrared eliminated Apple MacBook/Pro. I know that there is a way to sync with iPhones and iPads and a Mac (Keynote) as a remote control, but these are too big to be of any use (think of conferences and presentations requiring the House and not be stagnant behind a forum). Any suggestions? Should I buy a third remote device now? If so, any suggestions? Thank you.

Should I buy a third remote device now? If so, any suggestions?

We use frequencies, computer pocket radio equipment remote controls Logitech, Kingston or Gyromouse.

They have a range of 100 feet and are robust and reliable.

Much cheeper than buying iPad or iPhone.

These are too big to be of any use (think of conferences and presentations requiring the House and not be stagnant behind a forum).

IM at a loss to understand your reasoning with tthat statement.

IV never had any of the thousands of trainers, teachers or university professors we work with complain that the iPads or iPhones are too large or impractical to use in the classroom or conference room.

  • Presentation of recording Multiple merge problem

    Hello-

I have a document that I have set up for a merger. And I have the data source.

My goal is to have pages in landscape mode, side-by-side photos captions.

When I saw it, it's absolutely perfect 100%.

When I do the merger, it's 50% great and terrible of 50%.

I have a picture on the left side of each page.

The right side of each page is empty

then, there's another picture to the right of the page... right on the white space off the paper,

and another of my "frames" to the right of this!

I'm sorry if this explanation is not very good - I've attached a screenshot

    I appreciate your help-

    Thank you Daniel.

    1. I don't use columns

    2. I removed everything from the right side of the page

    3. it works perfectly.

    Thank you-

Somehow, I thought that I would need to add the items non-love on the right side of the page - and, in doing so, pushed the merger out of the page.

  • Mac book pro with projector color issue

I used a mac book pro for presentations keynote with very few problems. I did one yesterday and when I plugged it up to the lcd projector, the screen went weird and then it had a bluish tint through all the slides. I turned implementing mirroring on and outside, and it still does not go far. Can someone tell me how to solve this problem? Thank you

How the project is connected to a Mac? Entry and exit of Mac projector?

The projector works OK now with another computer using the same projector entry?

This Mac output works OK with another screen?

  • With the help of iTunes audio in Keynote

I try to use music files, I regularly bought from the iTunes Store in my Keynote presentations. But many of them (not all, strangely) I get a message saying hat the media file "xxx" is protected against copying and I'm not allowed to use it.

I used to import files from my iTunes library (including the files purchased from the iTunes Store) with previous versions of Keynote, without encountering any problems. Now, with 6.6.2, I have this problem, and in all my presentations created with previous versions of the audio files are not found.

Please advise: I'm a musicologist and teacher, and it is frustrating to buy audio files specifically include them in my lectures and teachings and not to use them.

  • App Keynote

Keynote app seems to have been broken by Watch OS 2.2 and or iOS 9.3 updates. I used to check my presentations keynote with my watch. More. App closes on the watch before it connects to the iPhone. Someone at - he found a solution yet? I reset, rebooted, repaired. Nothing. Thank you.

  • MacBook - problems to connect the external display w

I do a lot of presentations (Keynote) to Mac external displays at events.

The new MacBook (12 ") is quite often problems, so I have to carry a MacBookAir as back-up in case where.

Problems can be no image at all, or two images (like 70% Keynote + 30% of office) and with spikes.

It doesn't matter if I use HDMI or VGA. And Yes, I know how to set the resolution in the workplace sometimes that the problem is solved by adjusting the resolution manually, but then the Macbook can jump to the resolution which does not by itself during the slide show...

I think that the problem only occurs when I have to go through a device such as a split, or when there is a lot of tech back stage.

Anyone having problems of this kind with the MacBook?

Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix?

  • Presentation settings is missing from the Windows Mobility Center

Satellite L 300 with Vista Home Basic

Recently installed everything, but have run windows update etc. Since then.

Presentation settings does not appear in the Windows Mobility Center, and I can not find presentationsettings.exe anywhere on the computer.

Have tried downloading VAP but no difference. Toshiba Assist has nothing to help me, I think.

I tried looking for drivers and utilities for the L300 and sees nothing to help me - no presentation or power related only downloads.

How can I get the presentation settings? The main problem I have is not to want the screen empties when you watch a DVD or streaming video. Even if you put windows power settings to never turn off the screen, it will still blank after a period of time without the intervention of the physical user, despite the video game.

AFAIK this option is always available when the laptop is preinstalled with Toshiba (factory State) recovery image.
You install own OS or what?

I have two Toshiba laptops, and both of them have this option in the Windows Mobility Center.

  • Switching applications during the presentation on a separate screen

    Hello

No help available here would be much appreciated.

I have the Mac connected to a video projector. Under system preferences / poster I have the 'mirror' screen of the Mac projector.

I have two applications using the screen of the Mac: a spreadsheet (in mode full screen) and a Keynote presentation. I wish I could choose what is shown on the projector - the spreadsheet or Keynote presentation - and * easily * switch between the two.

I'm having difficulties in reaching this goal. When I "play" the Keynote presentation, Keynote seems to get their hands on everything: the projector becomes 'Display format' and the Mac screen display "presenter". If, during the presentation, I need to momentarily display the worksheet on the projector, I leave the presentation of Keynote ("ESC") and to the spreadsheet on the Mac (the spreadsheet now displays on the projector). On the way back, I have to switch applications on the Mac, then press 'Play' on the Keynote presentation (the projector display now the presentation again).

All this is fine except that it is long. It significantly breaks the tempo of the presentation session, the public gets distracted by what I do on the computer, and the emphasis is more.

Ideally I would be able to spend what is shown on the projector (presentation of the worksheet for the presentation) with one or two at most, mouse clicks. I thought that I could do it by changing just the applications on the Mac, but, unfortunately, when the speech is 'Play' there is no way to access the docking station to change application.

Does anyone know of a combination of Options of setting display, number of jobs defined on the Mac, the Keynote presentation options,..., which would allow this switch quick and easy?

    Thanks in advance.

Use the application Switcher: the keyboard command is: command tab

  • KEYNOTE Remote Control?

What are the options for the remote control of a presentation Keynote (6.6.1) on a MacBookPro OS X 10.11.2, using an iPadMini 9.2.1 iOS?

WiFi is not an option in this setting.   I had hoped to use BlueTooth between the iPadMini and the MacBookPro, but read an article (older), saying that it was not possible.

    Suggestions appreciated.

    To configure the Bluetooth:

    the iPad settings

    Settings > turn on Bluetooth

Keynote > Keynote Remote > devices: Select correct Mac list

    Settings > turn off WiFi

    Mac

    System Preferences > Bluetooth enabled

Keynote preferences > remote controls: activate

Keep a distance between iPad and Mac as short as possible (3 feet instead of 30 feet)
