Pressure 0 - 10V connection to the NI 9207

Greetings

Im trying to convert from an old field Point system to a newer cDAQ-9188.  What I thought would be fairley would we have become what some complicated because the 2 systems are not very similar.  The first hurdle I met connects 9207 3 pressure transducers module separated.  The transducers have four sons comng to the rear of the unit.  (PWR, high Signal, low Signal and ground). they were connected to the I-110 as follows:

Sensor-> I-110

PWR in -> Vsup

Signal high -> wine

Weak signal and ground (tied together) -> COM

The transducer outputs 0 - 10V and needs a power supply 18-35VDC.  The old unit that provided by a power rail common to all modules in the point on the ground system.  It seems that the CDAQ unit does not as the documnetation for the 9207 says you can connect a power supply to power devices on it. Im very hesitant connect the supply directly to the 9207 as I fear it will be too so that it can manage.  (I have three of these ultimaltley sensors connect to the unit)  My idea was to connect the power supply to a block of seperateterminal and connect the PWRin and soil of transducers to the + and - power respectively.  Then connect the high and low signal of transmitting signals to the AIO + AIO - terminals and on the 9207.

It would be nice however all the documentation I've seen on this subject shows the terminal COM on the also used 9207 and is related to the ground of the power supply or the sensor of the ground level.  I don't know of electricity as quite comfortable that I'm not going to fry one of these modules just try. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello

You can connect the sensor as indicated by the circuit to the left of the picture you attached. Specifications (page 7) for the NI 9207 manual States that, for the voltage, the positive should be connected to AI0 + and the negative to AI0-. There is no need to plug in the commune only measure voltage.

  • Apple TV / Hue lights have no internet connection (but the phones and computers do) - only disconnect Time Capsule fixed guess?

    Hello

My Apple TV will sporadically lose access to my iTunes library (despite showing the connection and a signal strong) and Netflix will not play.  My tint lights are not recognized when this happens.  When I restart the AppleTV, then it shows that they are not connected to the internet.  However, my computer and the phone still have functioning wifi in these proceedings.

The only thing that seems to restore connectivity is when I unplug my Time Capsule (version 7.7.7) and then plug it back in.  Can anyone offer solutions and the potential causes?

Thanks in advance for your time and help, it is greatly appreciated.

I don't have a simple answer to why not a quick fix to fix things.

There are plenty of things you can try. None are guaranteed to fix things... but he is able to increase your blood pressure and make that upset you.

    Then. I need more information.

What ISP modem or router do you use? Brand and model please.

    Who is the provider?

How did the TC connected to it? What mode it's in, bridge or router?

Is the wireless on the ISP router turned on?

You have an excessive number of routers wireless around you?

Use diagnostics wireless on a computer to check.

You never reset the TC at the plant after the update of the firmware?

If this isn't the case, please do so now. Redo the installation in accordance with the following instructions.

    Universal factory reset

Turning off the TC... That is, remove the power supply cord or the power at the wall outlet, wait 10 seconds... Hold the reset button... be nice... Turn on always even now in reset... and keep holding in for another 10 seconds. You may need assistance because it is difficult to hold in reset and power on. It will show the success quickly flashing led front. Release reset... and wait a few minutes for the TC to reset and return with the factory settings. If the front LED flashes quickly you missed and simply try again. The reset is quite fragile in these... Press the key while it is just click away and not more... I've seen people bend lever or even break. I use a toothpick as a tool.

NB. None of your files on the hard drive of the TC are removed... This simply clears the settings of the router of the TC.

    The installer the TC.

And then redo the configuration of the computer with Yosemite.

    1. the use of very short names... NO APPLE RECOMMENDED names. Without the space and pure alphanumeric characters.

for example TCgen5 for the base station and the name of the TCwifi wireless. (try to keep names < 10 characters)

If the problem is using wireless TC24ghz and TC5ghz with fixed channels like this helps.

    2. use all passwords also consistent with 1. but maybe a little longer. IE 8 and 20 characters of mixed cases and numbers... no alphanumeric non-caracteres.

    3. If the TC is router, you can ignore this point. It is only a problem when the TC is bridged.

If ensure that the TC is always the same IP address... you will need to do this on the main router using a dhcp reservation... or a bit more complex setup by using the static IP address in the TC. But it's important... the IPs derived in all directions when Yosemite do not remember his name for 5 min after a reboot done for poor network management.

I highly recommend this method on bridge of situation where you have the ISP router.

  • Portege R830-10V - connection UMTS falls down very often

    Hi all
I have a SIM card in my laptop I've used in a netbook before Samsung. With the netbook, the link never broken. But with the 10V, happens every 20 or 30 minutes. When the connection is lost, I have to restart the laptop to connect again. If I try to click on windows again that nothing happens to connect in the Network Center. After a few minutes, a message windows cannot connect to the network.
The laptop shows that the quality of the network is good.

I have reviewed the parameters of connection of the netbook and transferred to the r830-10V but it does not help. I also disabled all energy saving options. For me, it seems to be a driver issue, but I'm not sure.
Someone knows something about this problem?

    Hello

I m not quite sure if it s a driver problem or malfunction RF Power Control Utility may be 3G but I think you should try to reinstall all software related.

Here you will find the area of support 3G here:

  • Connection of the PXI-4071 - can sound and LOs remain interconnected for the impedance of the cable 2, voltage DC/AC, frequency and waveform acquisition?

    Hello

We use the DMM and SMU-6363 map to test a hardware device.  We will also use a PXI-2530 b switching matrix.  We will use the digital multimeter to perform the measurements of voltage, DC and AC, measurements of impedance (2-wire and 4-wire), frequency and waveform acquisition.  Can the PXI-4071 left be 4 wire connected (black jacks taken connected and red connected) mode and still be used to perform all other measures (including 2 impedance of the cable).  This would simplify the switch connections.

Current measures use the son + and LO, but the HI and S-can remain connected.  The problem you are having is if you have an active device the digital multimeter and take you a 4-wire resistance and the measurement of voltage with all 4 wires connected and then change to a current... When you do this, short-circuit you the terminals of the DUT, on that you just take the measurement of the resistance.  If the terminal HAD, say, a power supply 10V, then you have just shorted out.  Of course, this isn't a problem if your Instrument is a passive device, or if you change just the unused two lead whenever there is an active device of low impedance.

If you want to make voltage, current and 4-wire resistance, you need all 4 wires.  If you want to do the voltage and current, you will need 3 wires, but you could connect the s + Hi and then just do the two wires.  I vote running every 4 son to your DUT for maximum flexibility.

2-wire resistance is a must if you are measuring resistance above 10 MOhm.  Alternatively, you can use 4-wire for all measures.

    Dear ladies and gentlemen,

I need your help. I have a MacBook Pro running the last Sierra 17 "MacOS. I have connected to the screen "USB port, closed down the internal screen MacBook... magic happened... keyboard poped office to the top of the screen external AND external full resolution was working properly..." Unfortunately only for 1-2 minutes, then the layout changed back irreversible in a layout resembling the layout if I would press "alt". Only way I could "resolve" to disconnect the keyboard USB plug and then plug again... but after 1-2 minutes did the same thing...

I tried to plug the USB plug into the MacBook Pro directly, but the same thing happened...

I am so unhappy that I can't use correctly the full length external Apple keyboard, large... Any hint/resolution?

Thank you for your help in advance,

System Preferences > keyboard > Input Sources > [√] see Input menu in the menu bar

... then the menu icon before, choose «Show Keyboard Viewer»

Now, look at the chart of the keyboard that appears on the screen. If the Alt/Option key is stuck, the key will be gray, as if it is held down. If you press it again, he himself is not?

  • Unable to connect on the Messages or FaceTime after upgrading to Sierra

Good afternoon! After upgrading my MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid 2010) to macOS Sierra (10.12.), I am unable to connect to Messages or FaceTime. They worked fine before the upgrade.

    • Messages: After entering my Apple ID and password, I get the message "Could not sign in iMessage." "Could not sign. Please check your network connection and try again. "or"an error has occurred during authentication. "My network is connected to the network (where this message), and the password is correct. Also, I have generated a password app specific to Messages. Enter just grew the message "your Apple ID or the password is incorrect." Messages is works well with my Google Talk and AIM accounts.
    • FaceTime: After entering my Apple ID and password, the engine just turns and it never connects me. Similarly, I have generated a password app specific but use it just gets the message, "your Apple ID or the password is incorrect."

No idea how I can regain access to these applications? Thank you!

Reached out to the Twitter account of Apple Support. He proposed to restart. It worked.

  • "iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes" AND "iTunes can not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password" error message on the phone and the computer! Help!

So I recently had my password wrong too many times and my iPhone 4S locked out telling me "iPhone is disabled; Connect to iTunes'. And so I connected to iTunes and decided to restore my phone. I finished the process of restoration of the configuration of my phone, but ultimately, it was not even let me in the phone! Once AGAIN he said "iPhone is disabled; " Connect " to iTunes '. However, this time, this message appeared just when I turned on my phone with a black background. I didn't scan the screen for the error message is displayed (and there was no time to be shown). When I tried to connect to iTunes again as he asked, now it says "iTunes can not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password".

So now, he said "iPhone is disabled; ' Connect to iTunes' on my iPhone 4S and ''iTunes can't connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password ' on my computer. WHAT should I do?

As described in step 2 of "Erase your device with iTunes" in this article, you will need to use the Recovery Mode.

Recovery mode is described in this article as well.  You may try to go into recovery mode more than once to succeed.

I don't know if this is the problem, but it is something that must be correct establish a secure connection:

Open Date and time preferences system, Date & time tab. Make sure that it is set to automatically set the time.

Alternatively, make sure that your date/time is correctly set to the second.

Another thing to try is to restart your modem and router.

  • Devices to connect to the airport, but not to the Internet

    Hi all; Here's my situation:

I just bought a new Airport Extreme to replace my old router (Linksys). In our House, we have two iPhones 6, as well as the iPad, Apple TV and MacBook Pro that were all bought again this year. All these things were able to connect to the internet using our old wireless router.

As I have configured and installed at the airport, various devices have been able to connect without being able to connect to the internet (i.e. AirPort Utility, the airport connection is a green dot, while the actual internet connection is an orange): first it was the MacBook having this problem while the phones and the iPad have been completely connected. After I simply rebooted everything several times - i.e. the modem, router, and MacBook - I finally got the MacBook fully connected (without really changing all the settings, which are all entered correctly). Now, however, it is the two iPhones that will connect the airport but not actually in the internet.

Any ideas? I must say, these strange little problems idiopathic who seem to always pop up with Apple products are starting to really bother me... I never got my MacBook to connect to the Apple TV via AirPlay.

Any time you change the material or providers of Internet services, networking, it's always a good idea to perform a complete recycling of your network equipment power. Check out the following Tip of an airport users for more details on how to do it. Please post back your results.

  • Unable to connect to the internet using Ethernet

I have a Mac mini as I try to connect via Ethernet cable to a modem Comcast Arris TG862. I was connected via Wifi without problem (with the exception of the slower speeds). I know that the Ethernet ports on the back of the modem seem to work, since I can listen to my TV, etc. In settings > network Ethernet shows as green and connected and gives me an IP address, but as soon as I turn off Wifi no web page doesn't load.
What I am doing wrong? I thought that it would just connect. On the Ethernet port lights, which I think means data transfer. Otherwise, I need to tell Firefox or Chrome to turn to the Ethernet connection?
    Thank you!

The default configuration is to have the WiFi over Ethernet in the Service order.

The order must be set such that the (desired) primary service is at the top of the list and the backup service is below.

If you look at the order of service when it is connected to the network, the higher is the provision of access Internet one (or at least, he thinks Yes).

To set the order, click on the menu of the machine and choose the order of Service. Move Ethernet to the top of the list. This should make it primary unless he loses the connection.

However, it must move up Ethernet and provide a connection when you have turned off the WiFi. When you disable WiFi on the Mac, the Ethernet connection move to the top of the list and show a green connection?
