  I'm using a component mx:MenuBar with the xml data to a menu. The basic behavior as I see is, first by clicking on the top level menu item (IE on the horizontal bar), pop-up windows submenu opens. Then without clicking anywhere, if I have the mouse on / roll on the horizontal menu bar, the pop-up menus under other top level menus opens.

  This behavior seems to be incompatible. The pop-up submenus should open either on click any element of top-level menu (menu bar horizontally) or only on mouse over / roll of the menu bar.

  I want the pop-up submenus to open only when the click on the top-level menu (menu bar horizontally). So I added event handlers for the passage of the mouse as well as the rollOver events (I don't know which event gets actually produced on hovering over the menu bar horizontally). In the case of managers, I called the Event.preventDefault () method to prevent the default behavior (ie the opening of pop-up submenus).  But nothing works. I felt like I have no control over it.

  I have been using LR since the days of the beta. I recently had ' switch to ' frequently appear showing that something was busy and prevention to open LR. I've always been able to click on the "Switch" button and then open LR. Now, no matter what I ' switch to ' will not close. When I click on "switch to" Microsoft menu opens with only 'word' in the menu. Opening and closing 'Word' do nothing. The only way I can close LR is to end with the Task Manager. It is completely usable.

  I'm on the latest version of CC. How can I fix it. I use Windows 7 64 with 64 GB of RAM on an Intel i7 - 5930K CPU @ 3.50 GHz processor. It is a relatively new computer.

  Here are a few things you can try:

  Stop the use of the GPU (if you can get them from LR. Edit-> preferences-> performance.

  Just to test: rename your catalog so that LR does not attempt to open it. Start with a new catalog and watch how the system reacts.

  The add-on preceding can make some pop-up windows to open in new tabs instead. If you don't want pop - up opens automatically to all, you can set the preference dom.popup_allowed_events to a blank value in Subject: config.   Delete the saved state for Fireworks CS6 on Mac OS X Lion mountain

  Quit Fireworks.

  In the Finder, navigate to/Users/Your User Name / Library / Application State/com.macromedia.fireworks.savedState Saved

  3 files in the folder:

  Data.Data

  window_1.data

  Windows.plist

  Prefix files with the 'OLD' just to be sure.

  Launch Fireworks
