• Move between photos using the mouse scroll wheel in the library module

  I've recently upgraded to LR6.4, in the library, to the Magnifier module, I can't move between photos using the mouse scroll wheel. When I point the cursor on the picture, I get a "magnifying glass". The only way I can move between photos is to click on the film. I was able to use the mouse scroll wheel to move between pictures before. Help, please.

  It doesn't matter whether or not this option is displayed. Just open the preferences and restart LR should dissipate it.

  How can we see the contents of an export file using the datapump.

  He has had several discussions in the last bugs in the option "limit of the file size.  Just do a search on 'limit of the file size' in the forum.  I think that some of them have been fixed, but still there may be another or two still in the vicinity.

  The date and time are correct, but the application sorts badly. The video with the bird (capture SCREEN 01) must be below the image with the people (02 SCREEN capture), because I took later.

  You import the video later that the photos?  Or you import the videos and the whole phtos?

  If you imported the videos while being in a different time zone, Photos will use the time zone where you imported the videos to sort the photos. In this case select the video, then use the command "Set Date and Time" and make sure that the same time zone is used as when importing photos.

  From what I see here, you must have two shift registers, one for each circle you try to draw.  You just update those who need update inside the corresponding event.  Use then Cancatinate string to combine the two images.

  Other things to note:

  Put the terminals of your controls in their case of discipline.  This ensures that you are using the most recent data instead of the outdated data.

  The Stop button event take the changed value.  Yet once, put the terminal inside the event.  This will allow the latch to work its magic.

  Them would like to see photo subVIs RADIUS be I16 instead of DBL.  I recommend that you change your cursors to use representation I16.

  

• How can I change the JPEG images and photos using the program "Paint"?

  I'm taking a good picture of me with my laptop built-in digital camera, so I can use it as my avatar on my blog page.  I tried to change it and other images using the 'Paint' program, but I am not so much with things, as brighten up my eyes and my teeth by a shade or two.   Is there someone who could give me any suggestions on the best way to do it?  When I do, I do the picture of me end up looking like Little Orphan Annie.  Of course, I appreciate all the tips and help and thanks to all who respond!

  Hi, Proffitta. Welcome to the forums.

  You might be looking at the wrong place. If you are looking in the Edit menu, that will transform the current layer, which is probably the background in your case. It cannot be transformed until the layer has been transformed into a standard layer (Layer > New > layer).

  

  However, if you are simply looking to reverse the entire image, this can be done by going to: Image > Image Rotation > Canvas Flip Horizontal/Vertical.

• How to export Contact using the vCard and SMS to the non-iPhone user

  so I just tried to share a contact, using Messages, from another phone (non-iPhone) and I expect Messages to send a vCard using SMS to other mobile phone, but instead the iPhone said: "failed to send Message."  Text messages normal sending very well (with the Green bubbles).

  1. Launch the Contacts application from the home screen of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
  2. Search for the contact you want to share and tap the name;

  4. Choose the option Message ;
  5. The vCard contact will be automatically inserted into an empty message.
  6. Now simply select the recipient you want to send the contact card to the field to the message.
  7. Click on send. That's all!

  If anyone knows how it's supposed to be done with the latest iOS - to send contact information to another phone (non-iphone) by SMS?

  Well, I figured that out, and it relates to this discussion of the Apple forum:

  According to my cellular provider (Fido, Canada), the decision to send vCards and picture Messages to cellular data radio was conducted by mobile phone manufacturers (Apple, Samsung, etc.), but it's probably a standard now that cellular providers design their networks (although I could believe the reverse had happened).

  Fortunately, even if I use the connection 'data' Fido that they don't consider it as data, but as the e-mail... which is good for my boyfriend who is also using Fido, because is not a data plan but can now receive vCards (and picture messages) via MMS when it allows its cellular data (radio).

  But the real question is why was decided to send a business card on the data network and not on the SMS network, as it is just text (such as a comma-delimited file).  And if the vCard happened to contain non-text byte then why they wouldn't just UUENCODE (or MIME) the vCard if there no text fields so that it could be sent via SMS?

  Why I care, well of curiosity, of course, but also because if we could do more over the cellular transmitter voice/sms, so maybe we could turn cellular data more often, which would save on energy consumption (I guess), reduce the heat our phones get and to reduce our exposure to the EM radiation have some of the disabled (c.f. Bluetooth WiFi wireless transmitters (, data transmitters and cell phones cellular voice/sms).

• Cannot take Photos using the LCD

  I just bought a D60 and when I try to take a picture using the LCD screen and auto focus it won't take the picture.  It will however, when I get out of auto focus or when I use the viewfinder.  But not using the LCD and AV screen on.

  When you use the viewfinder, autofocus camera sensors use "phase detection".  These sensors are not on the image sensor.   The reflex mirror bounces low light these sensors.  The sensors are looking for contrasting edges.  Through a Prism-like efect, part of the image moves in one direction and in the other part (imagine use a pair of scissors to cut a picture into two halves and then slightly evil align the image along the cut).  The amount of the displacement varies according to the distance of focus on the subject.   The camera is capable of analyzing the pixels along the edge to determine how the two halves should adjust, and with this, it can determine how the focus needs to be adjusted in order to bring together the image.

  There is an additional advantage to the phase system to detect.  The system is able to analyze all areas of focus at the same time.  The direction of movement tells the camera that he needs to focus closer or further away.  That means in a moment, the camaera knows _which _ AF point is on the nearest subject and he knows how and to what extent the development must settle before the picture comes to focus.  That means the phase detect AF systems is generally useless to "hunt" for focus... they know exactly which way to turn the update and how far to go to get a lock.

  The phase detection system is very fast.

  Unlike the "detection phase" development, the system of 'contrast' doesn't know what direction to adjust to get the update.  It samples should be taken...   Cameras struggle to concentrate when there are nothing to do with contrast high to base its analysis.  They struggle in low light because there is not much difference between the dark and light areas.

  Canon has a new system called the "double pixel" AF.  They essentially combined the "phase detection" technology right on the sensor by creating micro-prismes on the surface of the imaging sensor itself.  The camera is actually capable of doing the "phase detection" style auto-focus directly on the surface of the sensor (never possible and Canon are the only company that got it.)

  The new 70 d is the first DSLR (and currently only) to get the system.

  If shoot you, you don't have the choice... the mirror must be upward in order to record videos so the camera can only use by contrast detection focus when shooting video *-with the exception of the D 70 because he can actually do "phase detection" focus directly on the sensor.
