  For anyone who has this problem, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Subject: config
  2. Scroll to mousewheel.withcontrolkey.action
  3. Change the value of the column value to 1
  4. Restart Firefox

  Yes, perfectly legal, if it wasn't, I don't know that Microsoft would have to stop them. If you spent $500, you are free to install it on the operating system of your choice, although versions recent Office 2010 and 2007 version and software such as Windows Live Essentials won't probably wine.
