Print archiving witih paper

Is that what I can use archival paper on my HP Envy 4500 printer and I need special ink.  My project will be put into a time capsule to be opened in all the 25 years.  Thanks for your suggestions

I think that as long as the document corresponds to the printer and is not exceptionally thick, it should work.
I checked the HP website and I think I was looking at their store and specifications on a carton of 61. HP says that the 61 cartridge ink resists fading for decades.

  • laser jet pro m402dn: printer says Add paper and it is full

Yesterday I had a jam in the printer, I found one stuck in the back, so I pulled it out now says set paper needed?

Run a configuration page in the reports menu on the printer and check paper settings to make sure that TRAY 2 is defined for the letter or one and the type is set to all. It could be the job you are trying to send is looking for a different size or type of paper. If all are correct, the I think the flag that hangs down to determine the paper in the tray dislodged somehow.

  • Photosmart 7510 - will not print black on any parameter of photo paper (does not print on plain paper setting)?

HP Potosmart 7510, printing from a memory card.  Using premium photo paper (glossy), set printer to print on HP Premium Plus Photo), printing out with Black/Brown areas in the blue-green instead of black.  Printing using plain paper, set printer on regular paper, just fine.    Same thing happens when I tried Advanced Photo and a Photo paper - print comes out with a blue-greenish cast in areas that should be black/brown.

Tried to print a black and white photo - identical to all other attempts - if the choice of the photo options paper, the dark areas are blue/green.

Comment - then try printing from the computer (wireless), produced the same result - black areas are printed in blue-greenish.

Tried cleaning the cartridges, alignment printer, print quality status report looks very good.

Door on this forum and general web search.  Nothing has yet solved problem.

What should I do?  Any ideas/suggestions?

Yes, this is the case on a 7510.  I worked on the answer.  Although "ink" diagnostice demonstrates both the black and the cartridges 'photo black' as being low, the 'black photo' was apparently empty.  The black of the photo must be called only because when the print properties are defined for the "photo paper", and when it is empty the black dark areas print in blue-green.  I thought that the black photo cartridge was a gray, for most thin shades grey, but maybe it's an intensifier of some sort.  It's a shame that HP does publish no real information.

  • Slow printing when printing on 6x8inch paper. With the help of my new printer HP Deskjet 1514.

When I print on a page size 6 x 8 inch using black ink, the time taken to print the page is 1 Minute 40 seconds. It is indeed very slow!

When I print the same exact pages on A4, the time taken to print the page is 15 seconds. This is acceptable!

    I use Windows 7 and Office 2007.

In addition, no error message is displayed.

    Help, please!

What are the parameters of type of paper? The speed to 6 x 8 paper resembles results would happen if printing on photo paper.

If you are printing on plain paper make sure plain paper is selected in the driver.

Ouch! Please do not yell at us. We can hear you if you type normally,
    in different cases.

In the print dialog box, you should have a button for preferences.
There is change of legal to letter.

Call brother and ask them to say that a local place that services
their printers. He brings them and get them to fix it.

  • OfficeJet 100: Officejet 100 print legal size paper?

    Hello

I hope that there could be a solution for this. Several users here have a problem with their printers Officejet 100 legal-size paper printing. Below is part of an email I received about this which explains it better that I could.

«Apparently some of the reps there have problems printing their contracts of legal size on their mobile printers HP Officejet 100.» It's happened for quite a while. The printer recognizes the document as the legal document, but printing is disabled: it begins printing in the middle of the image.

VRP have found a solution: they must go to the printer properties and choose explicitly legal paper in the drop size. It is already selected by default, but if they select manually it will print correctly. The problem is that: 1) it is a manual workaround, they must do so for EACH print, and 2) they frequently forget and have to reprint. »

They have already tried to install latest print drivers, but that has not helped. Printers seem to operate normally except for this. What could be the cause of this?

    Thank you.

    Hi @chris_hansen,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed that you can not print on legal paper with your HP Officejet 100 on Windows 7. I'm happy to help you!

According to your specifications of the printerthis printer supports legal size paper, which is good. First of all, I would like to try running our HP print and Scan Doctor, to ensure that no conflict of driver. If all goes well, try the following:

  • Pixma8720 will not be printed on A3 paper, he spits

I'm a Mac to print on a printer of 8720 Pizma. I am trying to print on A3 paper. I've never had problems in the past and last night I went to print, and it would be the paper then spit and begin to Flash orange. I have checked the ink, reinstalled the drivers and may not know what is happening. I tried printing on US letter paper and it worked fine. I guess this is the reading of the document under the incorrect, but not sure paper size. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Yes, he has worked in the past. I finally thought to it. I had to make sure I was adding the printer settings by using the network of Canon and not Hello or picking it the menu on the fast setting screen. Had to actually click on add printer and choose it from the list.

  • HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One Printer - C310a re Duplex print on A5 paper

I tried the double-sided printing on paper format A5 auto and received a message telling me that the paper was too short & to use 'manual duplex' or print "odd or even-numbered" pages instead. (works fine on A4 paper)

The second option seems a little long breath - but what is "manual duplex" and how are you?

    Hello

Automatic Print taken Deplexing supported only on letter, Executive, A4, and B5 (ISO) paper sizes, not on smaller sizes as A5.

You can find this information on page 33 of the below user guide:

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02516929.PDF

Manual duplex printing can be done using the Pages to print.

The application used to print, open the print dialog box, and then click Properties / preferences / Options to access printing preferences screen. :

    • Click Advanced.
    • In the Pages to print select Print odd Pages only .
    • Click OK to print.
    • After the odd numbered pages of the document were printed, remove the paper from the output tray.
    • Reload paper in the paper tray with the White side facing upwards.
    • Return to the drop Pages to print , and then select print even Pages only .
    • Click OK to print.
