  Hi, I have a few Samsung SH100 with built-in Wifi and for months, we could actually print directly from the camera on our Officejet Pro 8500 has more printer only via wifi.  In cases where we had to move the camera and the printer to a temporary location and had no WiFi, it would rely on the USB cable provided with the camera.  Plug it into the USB port on the front and choosing the option "Connect to the printer" on the device picture allowed me to photo printing directly from the camera (without the offset of wifi 2 minutes).  When I plug it in, it says "PictBridge" and "Device to use PictBridge for direct printing" and then I navigate through the camera to select the photos to print, etc.

  A few months later, I bought the Officejet Pro 8600 Plus think since they are only a single model apart, I would have roughly the same features.  But while the 8600 can connect to the internet and receive e-mail print jobs, when I connect the same USB cable from the camera to the front port of the 8600 I get the following error:

  "Unknown device".

  Disconnection of memory. For more information, see the electronic user guide (also called 'Help') available on your computer after you install the software.

  (I confirmed that I have the latest firmware for the printer and not that it should be relevant for our purposes, the computer to which it is connected via USB (rear port) takes place the most updated software HP).

  Any advice would help, whether it's something we can do to the 8600 or if we scour the internet to buy another opportunity 8500.  Thank you!

  I'm afraid that the 8600 series does not support PicBridge, even if they are similar models there are differences...

  You can find the specifications below, PicBridge is not supported and therefore connect a cammera directly only is not supported:

  Hello, I currently have an e-all-in-one printer HP Officejet 4630. I have had this unit for about eight months, & it is very good.

  I have a smart phone that has a pack of internet data, so I can connect to the Internet using the phone. It also means that I can use my phone as a modem for my laptop.

  Is there a way I can print directly from my Smartphone HTC M7 to the printer? My phone has bluetooth, but the printer doesn't not (AFAIK), but it has direct wireless, which is very similar.

  I ask this question in case I have a Web page open on my phone and I want to print directly to the printer.

  Your M7 HTC uses Android, as long as your phone and the printer are on an SAME network, you can print using HP ePrint app to print. Please use Google Play/store MySapce for HP ePrint app and install on your HTC M7. Alternatively, you can use ePrint by sending a file format supported on your printer e-mail address (your printer must be connected to the internet).

  The mobile app ePrint is used to be able to print in places public printer, not on your own personal printer. I know this can be confusing because of the name of the application, but the easiest way to print from a blackberry via the email address of the printer. What I recommend is that you configure email address as a contact printer that will allow you to access easily when you need to print.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand you are trying to join the instant ink program, but need assistance in obtaining your printers code request. I would like to help.

  In order to get the printers claim code, you will need to have the printer on a wireless network. An ethernet or LAN connection will also work. This will give the internet access to the printer so that the ink levels can be monitored.

  You need not remove your USB connection for the printer on the wireless network.

  The following link will help put your Officejet Pro 8600 on the wireless network.

  Once the printer on the network, tap the icon of ePrint/Web Services to enable Web Services and acquire the printers claim code. The icon you are looking for is in the lower left corner of the screen printers.

  I did a test once my pictures came out with greenish and bluish colors. I saved an image I created and that was a lot of red, pink, purple and magenta on a flash drive. Then I inserted the drive flash directly in the front of the printer and the image printed with all the vibrant colors that it should print.

  I took the same exact image and saved on the hard drive of my computer. Printing through the computer, the colors are muted, streaked and red, pink, magenta sine.

  The problem is not with the printer heads or connectors... it must somehow be attached to the HP program or drivers. Now the question is, how can it be fixed? If I uninstall the HP printing software, if I install it again, won't the same problems with the colors appear again?

  Brian of Britec explains the process to remove the stubborn locked files with these two programs listed below. It doesn't matter if the locked files were a virus or not. You can stop and replay the video as much as you want, easy peasy.

  Download and install Process Explorer from Microsoft Sysinternals.

  Download and install Malwarebytes Fileassassin

  That should do well.

  This parameter is actually a printer in Windows, not in Acrobat.

  Take a look at this KB from Microsoft for general admission locations.  Each printer according to OEM may have different entries according to the document.

  It seems that you have a WEB.show_document call in your code to forms, just after the call to rp2rro.rp2rro_run_product, that you did not post... If Yes, which is the cause of the problem... you need only call to rp2rro run/print report, WEB.show_document call is not necessary...

  Canon offers a selection of printers that have this feature, their page can be found here. (Sorry, I live in Southeast Asia) They offer the AirPrint and functionality you described, which is not AirPrint. Personally, I use the MG7170 model.
