Print driver for OfficeJet 8500 A909a for Windows 10

Having trouble getting my printer to work with windows 10. Do not really need the full software on this PC so just print driver would work. I downloaded OJ_AIO_P8500_A909_Full_Win_WW_140_408 - 5.exe several times and I still get the same results after installation. I deleted the printer several times in the section program & files windows. This includes all said HP in the system. After the installation of the printer does not work and I get a protection error when trying to enter in the properties of the printer. Any ideas on how to solve this problem or am I something wrong?

@gxshow, suggset you trying to install the built-in drivers on win 10 OS. Please see below for the steps and video URLS:

or if not is there a generic driver that will work for hp laserjet 6l pro printer in a 32-bit windows system 7.

My Windows 7 Professional 64-bit system has a built-in driver (provided by Microsoft) for HP LaserJet 6 L printer; I guess that the 32-bit edition may also provide a driver.

Note that the driver can only appeared after the list of drivers in the Add Printer dialog has been updated by clicking the Windows Update button in this dialogue and in the meantime (maybe several minutes) for drivers to download and list to be filled again.

    Hi Mocanu,

Looks like you're right. It might not be a complete driver of features still to the all-in one HP Inkjet 915, but looks like there could be a BONE or integrated driver, which you can download. Go to installation and using the built-in Windows print driver for the steps.

    Hope that helps!

  • LaserJet 1300: is it laserjet 1300 printer driver for Windows 10?

I just bought a new laptop for home use - Windows 10 rounds.  I've been using a printer LaserJet 1300 (connected to a docking station, which is connected to the laptop) during the years that I LIKE, but can't seem to find a driver for printer LaserJet 1300 for WIndows 10.  It does not exist, and if yes, what is the link to it?

The drivers are all the same, no matter what port is used.  The port just determines the method to which the work reached the printer.  Parallel, USB or network.  Parallel ports of will disappear and most computers only support usb and network as well as some who support wireless where the printer has wireless capabilities.  Here is the link to the drivers on the hp site.

    32 bit

You may also download driver usb, since it seems that hp has a special for use with the printer driver.

  • print driver for Windows 8.1 7610

I have the 7610 office jet. It handles paper up to 13 x 19. When I try to print on paper very large format, the selection of the size of paper in the print dialog box does not display larger sizes of paper, as the tabloid (11 x 17 inches). So I can't select/print large paper sizes. Y at - it another driver for this printer that will allow printing on tabloid and more paper?

  • Need Lexmark Z615 printer driver for Windows 7

Lexmark Z615 printer driver required for Windows 7!  Lexmark Help Center directed me to the driver, but it still does not work.

Lexmark do not provide a driver for the model directly, but they say that the Vista driver works. There is an instruction on the Web page to unplug the printer and uninstall. Did you first?

If you did, and reinstalling the driver with the disconnected printer did not work, it is possible that you are running a 64 bit version of Windows 7?

If you are, start looking for a new printer... Mike Hall MVP - Windows Desktop Experience http://msmvps.com/blogs/mikehall/

  • Windows 7 64 bit laptop on wireless network can not find .inf wired for Canon Pixma iP4000 printer driver for windows 7 32 bit PC

First of all, I read the thread on the laptop win 7 and win XP PC with attached IP4000.  I have just isn't helping me with that.  I am computer literate network, but I have to be dumbing down, so be specific in a response, you can give it.  Please, do not assume I know something just because it can be public knowledge.  Thank you for understanding my situation!

New Win 7 64 bit laptop connected wireless to a network home through a Netgear WNDR3700 router.  Wired to the router, it is a PC with a USB attached printer Canon IP4000.  This printer has worked without problem with this PC for years.  Add the laptop.  Try to access the printer on the network (it is set to be shared on the PC) translates into an inability to find the driver for the printer.  On the Canon download site, I downloaded and installed on both machines the driver add-on 'aomwin110ea23us.exe '.  This does nothing to solve the problem.  Then, follow the suggestions in the thread referenced above, I downloaded installed 7 - zip and unzipped the file add-on from Canon.  Guess what? -There is no, zero, nada, stupid ".inf" file in there!  I understand that I need share on the PC to both x 32 and x 64, but without a valid .inf file to point to, I'm sunk.  And the same is true when you try to add the printer to the laptop - not to point to .inf file.  Is the only thing that I have not tried to install the printer directly to the laptop via the USB port, and it's because this is not a configuration that is usable for me.  The printer must be attached to the PC.  Is there anyone out there who can help me solve this dilemma?  Please do not give me an answer telling me to download the driver - usually you tell me precisely what driver and then guide me through the process.  Rest assured that I appreciate sincerely any help you can give me.  Thanks in advance!

Most likely the name of the driver you are using on XP to share the printer a is not not the name of the 64-bit driver.  The pilots names must match in order to add the printer as a connection to the 64-bit computer using the normal RPC protocol.  You can configure the printer on 64-bit Windows 7 as a local printer that will basically copy the data from the printer to the format to share on the XP machine using SMB protocols.

This is a Ko for incompatible drivers when connecting XP to NT4.  Replace your server / client configuration, but it's the same process.  Make sure that you are connected to the internet and select the Canon 64 bit driver available on Windows Update (use the Windows Update button in add printer) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/282842

Probably the easiest / simplest is to buy a compatible printer/all-in-one device win7
